We spent 7 wonderful days at the Yellow Rose. Our room was large, clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. The porch was a plus, we enjoyed sitting outside on February evenings! Having a small refrigerator was great. Deb's breakfasts were delicious and were delivered right to our room. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, we enjoyed walking in the King William district. The Mad Hatter diner was a great place for a light supper.

A Yellow Rose Bed and Breakfast is conveniently located within walking distance of all the top sites of downtown San Antonio. I thoroughly enjoyed walking to the River Walk, Market Square, La Villita and The Alamo. My room was large and had lovely historic charm. The King William neighborhood is diverse with a wide range of historic homes of all types and sizes. You can thoroughly get lost in the neighborhood as one house is more interesting than the next. The local nearby restaurants that were recommended were an excellent and a refreshing change from the usual suburban chains.

Large clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed. One block from King William street with beautiful old houses and two short blocks from the River Walk with easy walk to the center of the city. The Mad Hatter for breakfast and lunch around the corner, the Bliss restaurant less than a mile away. We loved our stay at the Yellow Rose.

We came to A Yellow Rose B & B for an escape for a couple of days from our hectic lives. The area around the B & B is fantastic. We had all we needed and the hosts were very attentive to any requests. Our only complaint is that the bed was softer than we generally prefer. I would request a thermostat available for each individual guest to adjust the temperature of the room to their liking also. Would recommend highly to others.

Wonderful accommodation - room was perfect. Location also - easy walking to everything. Tub was especially welcome after my marathon on Sunday. Will definitely stay here again.
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you did well in the marathon. It was a much better day for it than in the past. See you next year!

I've stayed at the Yellow Rose several times and just love it! It's nestled in the King William historic district and is conveniently located to the riverwalk and some fabulous restaurants that are within walking distance. The accommodations are lovely and comfy. My favorite room is the Provence Room with the guest porch. Deb is awesome and had some great restaurant suggestions along with nearby local entertainment that would satisfy anyone's taste.
Thank you! Our repeat guests are very important to us. We love seeing familiar faces.

We went to SA for my husband to attend a conference and decided a B&B was the better choice for us. Having booked the Carriage House was perfect, affording us a kitchen for times we just wanted to stay in and take advantage of the quiet. Deb was a great hostess and we appreciated the options this B&B offered. Nestled in the back of the property, we enjoyed the privacy and yet the closeness to all major sights. We will be back!
Thanks! I hope you return soon for another r&r break.
