Elisa's Sunday Haus

We are conveniently located a quarter mile from Round Top's historic town square where you will find restaurants and the Festival Hill Concert Hall.
This authentic German "Sunday Haus" is nestled under cedar and oak trees, giving complete privacy and spiritual comfort.
You are invited to wander along stone pathways and visit the garden, the dry creek on our nature walks through the woods and visit the "The Ghost House", a 100-year-old saltbox, immigrant house. The Ghost Haus is now ready to accommodate up to 5 guests.

Bird Watching from the Sunday Haus porch is just one of the many pleasures of our guests. Many different species have been sighted in our gardens. The almost extinct Bluebirds have made a comeback and are joyfully raising their little ones in the nest boxes Elisa is providing. The Sunday Haus interior is dedicated to Elisa's Forefathers from Germany and to Immigrants who came to this part of Texas around 1840.
Tranquil Nature Walks lead through gardens and the adjoining woods.
We invite you to visit the Sunset Station for a breathtaking vista. The downstairs bedroom has a beautiful view of the garden
The Living room in this German Saltbox house has a large fire-place.The Ghost Haus, a 1870's German Salt-Box was found abandoned and relocated to the edge of a forest patch and a beautiful meadow. Elisa calls this house lovingly her "Little House on the Prairie."
