Built in the 1890's, the Hoopes' House in Rockport, Texas has been meticulously restored to its original splendor. The sunny yellow inn commands a panoramic view of the harbor, and is within walking distance to museums, shops, and galleries. The main house consists of four charming guest rooms, each with a private bath. For those wanting a more private experience, perhaps a stay in one of the four "garden rooms." The grounds feature a pool, hot tub, and a gazebo. Elegant but casual, the Hoopes' House combines modern luxury with old world charm. Hardwood floors, 12 foot ceilings, intricately carved fireplaces, crown molding, fine art and antiques recall another time...another era. Relax with a good book in the parlor. Enjoy the Gulf breeze under the gazebo. Linger over morning coffee in the sunroom. Listen to the call of the gulls on the porch. Delight in the pleasures of a slower time.

Had an off season stay-were the only couple in the whole place that weekend due to cold weather. Great location. Hostess was hospitable-arranged for early full breakfast due to taking boat tour. Only glich was her forgetting to make the coffee for us one morning. Great value for the price. NIce room and very reasonable. Breakfast was delicious.

there a no places that are as comfortable and warm as the Inn of the Hoopes House. A great central location in Rockport and very comfortable. It is a wonderful choice for an overnight and day of visiting in the Rockport area. It is really a short drive from Houston and San Antonio. The hospitality makes a visit to the coast memorable.

WOW! Hoopes' House and Paula are exceptional! My husband and I have stayed in many, many B&B's, and are former owner/innkeepers and this is the nicest, clean, comfortable, relaxing B&B we have stayed in. The attention to details is amazing. Even the TP is soft and thick ~ not see through and sandpaperish! The grounds are as nice as the inside. The outdoor furniture is clean and fresh looking. We have stayed in many places that don't bother to keep the outdoor furniture clean, and you are afraid to sit on a chair or put food, dishes, or hands and arms on the table tops! And breakfast is fantastic ~ you can't miss it. If you don't stay at Hoopes' House, you're not staying at a terrific B&B!

We chose Hoopes House for our anniversary getaway and we were not disappointed. The accomodations were wonderful and the food was spectacular! We will be back!

We stayed at Hoopes' House, for our aniversary. Jan 31, thru feb 2, 09. Really enjoyed it. The breakfast was great. And the staff made us feel, as if they knew us all our lives.We'll be back for sure, Thanks
