Pappy's Paradise Bed & Breakfast

We stay at Pappy's several times every year over the summer. Comfortable, and a nice set up. Lot's of space for the family. Julie's home cooked cake and breakfast are great too.

What a great escape for our family! The cabin was cozy and the perfect fit for us! The kids loved playing checkers on the porch, exploring the grounds and fishing the pond. Can't wait to go again!

We decided we did NOT want to go tent camping yet with a 3yr & 5yr old, so we thought it would be a good fit to goto a cabin. We found Pappy's paradise online and thought "The Cabin" would be a perfect fit for our family of 4. It was!! The kids absolutely loved it...they loved sleeping in the loft, roasting hot dogs & making smores in the fire pit out front, walking around the area, and sitting in the porch swing. It was nice having the at-home ammenities while 'roughing it' (I know, this isn't truely roughing it, but a start when you have little ones). Wonderful weekend (2 night) getaway. The kids have been asking when they get to go back again. Oh, also a FANTASTIC price for the area.

Stayed in “Pappy’s Place” with our 4 yr old daughter. She had a blast playing with the ducks at the pond. There is a nice short nature trail on the property as well. Julie and Billy are wonderful hosts.

Beautiful cabin, very clean, rustic and yet with all the essentials. Very peaceful and quiet location truly made us feel so far from the city commotion. My kids are still raving about the "welcome" brownies!!

Our family of 4 staying in the rustic cabin in the woods. This is a great place to stay with children. The hosts are wonderful. Everything was perfect and a relaxing treat. The cabins have plenty of elbow room between them so you have plenty of privacy and room for the children to roam and explore.

We stayed in Pappy's Place on the duck pond and it was absolutely great. We felt so at home and enjoye d everything that they had to offer. I don't have anything bad to say about the place at all!! What a great spot to fall more in love with that special someone. Loved it!

Very family friendly- Lots of scenery and animals. Very down-home feel, however, beds are small and uncomfortable.

We were able to relax and enjoy nature. Had a fantastic breakfast; they even baked a cake for us. The cottage was quaint and comfortable.

My son and I drove up from Houston to take my mom to Pappy's for her 83rd birthday. Her words: "This is the best birthday I've had!" You are welcomed as family, included as family, but treated with 5-star service. It is an escape from "the big city" in it's simplicity, peace, calm, and old-fashioned accomodations. We stayed in The Cabin for one night, using the "Romance" package. The house was so quaint and picturesque, while still providing all of the necessary modern amenities. The steak dinner was wonderful, the hosts warm and pleasant, and the atmosphere quiet. We can't wait to bring our kids and friends to this lovely spot!

My family and I wanted a awesome weekend getaway and that is just what we got when we stayed in The Cottage. It was more than we expected with it's beautiful rooms and furnishings! Both Billy and Julie were so nice, and do a wonderful job of making us feel at home! The homemade cake and breakfast casserole Julie made us were both so delicious! The Cottage is a wonderful size with plenty of room for a family. From the ducks, the stocked pond, the paddle boat and pet goats, our three boys had a wonderful time!! As soon as we returned home I reccomended this B&B to all our friends and family!!

We met our daughter and family for a get-a-way and couldn't have been more pleased. Our 2 year old Grandson loved the duck pond and feeding the gentle goats and Midget their horse. The cottage was so cozy and the Veir's made our stay very relaxing and enjoyable! We hope to return soon for another stay.Jerry and Joy Tilton Rogers, AR.

Just returned from our 3rd visit to Pappy's! The kids and adults are never ready to leave. We are so grateful to have such a warm, roomy and friendly home away from home. Our family enjoys the farm animals, paddleboat, nature trail and endless hours of outdoor play. They also have a more secluded cabin that is spectacular. So whether you looking for a family or couples vacation, this is the place to go. But one thing, we always leave something behind...great memories!

What a perfect place for our family. Everything was perfect - clean and LOTS for our kids (big & little) to enjoy. Will hopefully do again.

Nice get-a-way, quiet, peaceful, yet fun for the kids. The cabin has all the comforts of home that make your stay relaxing. Loved cooking with the antique stove.

The place was absolutely wonderful! Great food and hospitality! We loved it!
