This unique waterfront log home located on Lake Palo Pinto is only an hour away from the Dallas/Ft Worth Metroplex. From the moment you drive onto the 6 acre property you feel you have stepped back in time when this North Texas hill country was settled by the pioneers and occupied by the Indians. Once inside the front door you realize you are ready for relaxation. You are immediately drawn to the back porch that is nestled in the trees 80 feet above the water that provides a panoramic view of the lake. Enjoy the scenery, your afternoon snack, and that first cup of morning coffee on the porch. The Lodge is your home during your visit. Come share it with us along with the songbirds, hummingbirds, deer, roadrunners, squirrels, fox, armadillo and raccoons. However you decide to fill your day, relaxing lakeside, fishing, antiquing, golfing, or day trips to many of the historical site in the area, be sure to return in time for sunsets, fireflies, and the moon and stars dancing on the water.

    The Tree House Room gives you the feeling of being snuggled in the trees with views of the lake. You have a private door into your room from the porch, private bath, a queen bed with down comforters. The porch has adirondack chairs and a chimenea for your use. A full breakfast is served at 9:00 am which is included in your room rate of $125 per night, plus 10% tax.The Over Look Room which is an upstairs room offers a panoramic view of the lake.
