Beautiful, private, and cozy. This seperate, historical German homestead was wonderful and comfortable, with it's own full kitchen, full bathroom, living room, and private patio & porch. I'll definitely stay here again!

Just a note regarding the "value" portion of the rating: Though bed and breakfasts are naturally more expensive than chain hotels, we have the the lowest rates of any b and b in the area, and they haven't increased in over five years. We also offer discounts at off-peak times, like weekdays —and even some weekends — November through April.

Sit and relax on our second floor veranda, and enjoy a drink from the bar, or the company of family or friends. Smokers are welcome to smoke here. There is a splendid view from north to south, as you are approximately 18 feet from the ground floor.The Inn's parlor, currently serving as the "breakfast room."
Our grand staircase has been the sight of many wedding photos. The railings and steps are original to the building. The 24 stair steps to the second floor rooms can "take your breathe away."View of the "Feed Store" building — where our three "Family Suites" are located — from the courtyard.
This suite is named after Prince Carl Solms of Braunfels, Germany — quite appropriate considering it's majesty and grandeur. It has magnificently high ceilings, a king-size bed, and deeply rich colors throughout. It includes a full bath, sitting area with sofa, and kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, and sink.This majestic suite is named for Prince Solm's beautiful German fiancée, Sophie. This room is a favorite with couples celebrating honeymoons, anniversaries, and other romantic occasions. It includes a king-size bed, full bath, living room, and kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, and sink.
