Built in 2001, Gruene River Inn is one of the newest accommodations in the New Braunfels and Gruene community. Located a quarter-of-a-mile from Gruene Hall, our bed and breakfast is not far from shopping, or dining at the Gruene River Grill or Gristmill. On the banks of the Guadalupe River, the Gruene River Inn gives guests panoramic views that are unmatched in the area. Only a quarter of a mile from historic, downtown Gruene, it's nearby the hub of activities on the Guadalupe River. Antiques, collectibles, outdoor gear and wines are but a few of the items that make up a shopper's paradise. Unique restaurants and live music add to the ambiance of the community. If you enjoy fishing bring your gear or just take a swim outback.

We had a very nice time at the Gruene River Inn it was extremely clean, quiet and very relaxing. The views were awesome and I am sure we will make it a point to return again. The staff was very friendly and accommodating as well.

The view from our private balcony was truly breath-taking. The serene environment was very relaxing. The service was great. The inn is also close to the historic area, nice restaurants, and other attractions. Few things which could be better are having wider table in the room to accommodate the usage of laptop, step stool for the high poster bed, and an intercom to contact the front desk. While the concept behind the inn is supposed to be "country," things could be convenient for the customers. Overall, the experience was great. I am definitely going back!

I stayed at gruene river inn over the Christmas holidays, it was decorated so nice, great for background for pictures, its walking distance of shopping, and you wake up to a great selections of breakfest items, the people that work there are eager to help you with any of your needs, you can tell they take great pride in the service they offer to their guest, I plan to stay there when ever I am in Gruene.
