    The Caroline House, A Bed and Breakfast, was built in the 1850's and is one of Montgomery's finest historical homes. The property features 5 bedrooms with private baths, a full breakfast in the morning, and evening refreshments of wine and cheese/dessert. We are walking distance from Cedar Brake Park and several quaint shops and restaurants, and easy driving distance from the Renaissance Festival in Plantersville, hiking and biking in the Sam Houston National Forest, and Texas A&M in College Station. Several golf courses and beautiful Lake Conroe are just minutes away. Children and small pets are always welcome.

    Mary was in the Interior Design field for 25 years. She loves gardening, cooking, volunteering, decorating, her family, and entertaining. She has 8 grandchildren at this time; a swing set and toys are available on the property. She has 1 dog, Buddy the Bijon, and 1 outdoor cat, Duke.

    we had the back building this weekend and had the best time. Mary was there for every need! will be back next year!

    We had the best time ever !! Mary was so kind and helpful !! The room so comfy well decorated and Mary left a special touch by Welcoming us with a Framed letter. The town was neat with old country stores... The Old Montogomery Steak House Was Wonderful !!!! Relaxing , Refreshing, Enjoyable Weekend Getaway. We will be going back 4-sure !!!!!! Thank You Mary !!!!

    We had a great time in Montgomery! Thank you Mary for making us feel at home. We were telling a friend this very morning about how nice it was, and how much we enjoyed it. Hope to be back again.

    Our first stay at The Caroline House was back in January of 2010 and we absolutely LOVED it! Since, we have stayed many more times and will continue to do so. Mary is such a lovely lady and Caroline is so peaceful and relaxing and beautiful! My husband and I have never had a better nights sleep. We travel the world and have stayed in many places and we can honestly say, we get the best nights rest at The Caroline House (even better than our own home!). We highly recommend that you check it out for yourself!

    I had a wonderful stay at The Caroline House while visiting Montgomery in the second weekend in December. The candlelight historic home tour (including The Caroline House) was very enjoyable. Mary is an exquisite hostess in her comfortable and lovely home and the breakfasts were superb! I certainly plan to stay there again whenever I'm in the area. Thank you, Mary.
