About

We are less that an hour from the hustle and bustle of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. You can experience true Texas hospitality in a magnificent Queen Ann style mansion. Scenic and cultural attractions abound in this North Texas hill country. The Brazos River, nearby lakes and parks offer great recreational opportunities. An historic and architecturally intriguing downtown area is an easy walk and has unique attractions and shopping. Built in 1904 as a boarding house on beautifully landscaped grounds, guests are invited to enjoy the warm environs of the library, parlor, formal dining room or wrap-around verandahs...or enjoy private moments in a swing under hugh oak trees... Spacious guest rooms are on the second floor with private bath, cent. heat and air. Numerous amenities include quality toiletries, extra pillows and oversized thirsty towels. A hospitality area, that is just steps away, contains an icemaker, snacks and a stocked refrigerator. Freshly ground and brewed coffee awaits the early bird here each morning, followed by a full hearty breakfast

I love B&B's and this one is one of the best

5 on May 05, 2014

Me and my Wife stayed here on May 3rd, 2014, and I must say Chuck and Wilene were the most friendly of people. We were not able to get a room in town where the rest of our group were staying and I saw this place on line. I have often seeked out B&B's in the past, and I was quite happy to find this one. The rooms are all differently themed, and its a beautiful 100+ year old Victorian Style House with a huge 2nd floor porch. I would much rather stay at a B&B than a cookie cutter style motel. In fact our group is talking about renting all the rooms for our next visit to Mineral Wells. Call the Manis's and you will get a better rate than reserving online! We enjoyed our stay very much! Hope to see yall very soon.
