Breakfast is made to order and the coffee is amazing. The staff is friendly and eager to please. The atmosphere is cozy not corporate and you feel like you are with family. You meet extraordinary travelers. The only reason not to stay here is if they are sold out.

Did not get to enjoy everything this great place has to offer. However, I would stay there again if ever in Lubbock.

We enjoyed the atmosphere and cleanliness of the room, Staff very kind and helpful. disappointed in bathroom with peeling paint and corroded fixtures- a new paint job with paint that stands moisture and replacing faucet and shower fixtures would have made a world of difference.

While I really didn't have a choice of places to stay as the caboose was the last room I could find on graduation weekend, I could not have been more pleased with our stay. My granddaughter loved being able to sleep on the train. The bedding was incredible and one of the best breakfasts I have had in a very long time.

My husband had returned from a 4 month deployment, and this was a great time for us to have some alone time before catching up with family. The staff was very courteous and welcoming, even providing a complementary bottle of wine for us. I would highly recommend the Woodrow House to anyone!

Stayed three nights in "Friends and Family". Breakfasts were great and hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Also liked the extras like cookies and wine in the afternoon. Room was clean and comfortable but just a bit noisy due to traffic on street in front.
