My wife and I recently stayed two nights at the Claiborne House Bed and Breakfast. The owners, only recently purchased this Bed and Breakfast, but they have made many beautiful rooms in which to stay and all named after poets. The rooms were very comfy and the beds were very good. The breakfast were not anything gourmet, but the "french toast" might make your mouth water. It is near to downtown Jefferson and offer a golf cart to ride around town and see the sights. We particularly enjoyed viewing the old houses in Jefferson. The Caliborne House was built in 1863. We had a most enjoyable time there.

We celebrated our 6th Anniversary qnd Mother's Day here. Loved them! Very friendly and concerned owners. Delicious breakfast, too! We stayed in the Keats room. It was one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on. The in room Jacuzzi provided the relaxation and romance we were looking for. Splurge for the Champagne, cake and flowers add on. Charming old southern town. Good antiquing and great fudge! Midnight train ride was fun, too.

My husband and I decided to stay in Jefferson last minute. We found this AMAZING b&b and booked the Dickinson Room. The room was very large, comfortable and clean. We were impressed. The Owners were super friendly and made us feel like part of the family right away. We have stayed at SEVERAL b&bs around Jefferson and this is our favorite so far. Many extra touches that made us feel at home. They have 2 talking birds and a little baby kitten that we enjoyed seeing. Sunday morning we were greeted with smiling faces and a wonderful breakfast! We enjoyed getting to know the other guests and the food was DELISH! We left planning our next stay! We cannot wait to be back and plan on brings friends and family on the next trip. Thanks again to Jerry and Ann for taking us in last minute and being such gracious hosts.

As guests at Claiborne House, you do not realize that you are part of the the party no matter who you are. We had ourselves a laughing good time downstairs with the other guests and it was so entertaining that we are totally coming back. Ann and Jerry know how to party and this was so unexpected! If you like having a quiet night away, you will need to be able to stay away from the fun going on downstairs!
