My husband and I LOVED Jerry and Ann. They are the best host/owners. The place is close to downtown and local attractions.

My boyfriend and I stayed 2 nights here on Valentines day. We rode the motorcycles 300 miles to stay for the weekend. We were greeted by the Ann and Jerry in the driveway. They also ride, and let us park our bikes in the garage, and then offered us a beer or a glass of wine. Some other couples had arrived and there was a nice happy hour going on with beer, wine and snacks. I have stayed at B&Bs all over the country. Ann and Jerry were, hands down, the most friendly host I have ever met. I truly felt as if I were visiting some old friends. The whole weekend was just excellent. The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet, the breakfasts were great and relaxed, and the house itself was very well restored and maintained. Jefferson is a very cool little town with a lot of scenic riding roads, and a nice little historic district with interesting shops and great restaurants and bars. I will most definitely be visiting Jefferson again, and when I do, I will be staying with my new friends Ann and Jerry at the Claiborne House.

After researching and experiencing many B and B's throughout our areas of travel, my fiancé' and I found "The Claiborne House" in Jefferson, TX. The service was considerate, prompt, and thorough. The cleanliness and character of the home was superb. We certainly appreciated the value and history of our temporary "home". I choose the word "home" specifically to describe that our stay really felt as if we woke up and life had turned a fantasy into a reality and our place of reside became, "home". The food was amazing, the hosts were knowledgeable and attentive with customer service and accommodations. The "Browning's Room" was extremely spacious, well decorated, and cozy. The oversized Jacuzzi tub was worth the whole stay period! The room was also set with a King size bed and a "two person" walk-in shower. The atmosphere was more than romantic and spread with a surplus of roses to lift the spirits of the guests. When you have an experience as well as the one my fiancé and I have had, you'll have a lot to say as well.
