CLAIBORNE HOUSE B&B...Where Elegance, Relaxation and Therapeutics Meet...Claiborne House B&B is a modified Greek Revival house circa 1872. There are two 40 ft. porches filled with rockers, a swing, and wicker furniture for your relaxation.
Brownings Room is the romantic room to choose when you want that special time with your loved one. This room includes a queen bed, jetted tub, large separate shower, cable tv, half bath, refrigerator, coffee service, and a private entrance.
The Dickinson Room is in our carriage house and has been newly redecorated. It now has a king bed with a half canopy over the beautiful bed. There are velvet chairs for seating. A shower is in the spacious bathroom.

We've stayed in dozens of B&Bs through the years. This stay was literally perfect!! Our suite was incredible. The hospitality was impeccable. Lola, Elaine and Steve saw to every detail without being the least bit intrusive. Perfect!

Jefferson is a great town filled with history. Antique stores abound and we especially liked The General Store. Elaine was a gracious hostess and her breakfast was delicious.

Fine wine colored walls and elegant creamy fabric set the tone for a very romantic room. The king bed has a padded headboard. This room has recently been updated with a jacuzzi tub for two sitting in the room. Also, a shower has been added to the bathroom. Victorian carpet has also been added. This is a honeymooners delight!

Dickinson Room has been redecorated and now features a wrought iron king bed. The fabric coronet above the bed gives a feeling of royalty to the room. The room is decorated in a warm sage green with rich fabrics. The bathroom features a shower.

Cancellations: A $25/night processing fee will be charged on all cancellations and no-shows. There will be no room charge if notified of cancellation 7 days prior to date reserved, except holidays and special events, which will require a 30 day notice. A one night stay will be charged on cancellations within the 7 days unless we are able to rerent the room. No-shows during special events will be charged the full amount of the reserved amount.

Originally was going to stay in another B & B but they were booked so I decided to stay in The Claiborne House. I could not have asked for better accomadations. The breakfast was feast to behold and the meeting of new people at breakfast was very enjoyable.
