Super clean, and VERY friendly and helpful owner (Belinda) This place was everything a B&B should be from the comfy bed, nice cottage touches, and ease of check in/out. Great value, I would recommend this place to anyone of any age staying in Jefferson. Even the location is easy to find.

We stayed in the Romantic Haven a couple of weeks back. We were so pleased that we did! This is not a typical B & B! It sooooo reminds me of my grandmother's home ! We were so very comfortable here we will always remember it as special. The owners father was ill when we stayed there, so her friend came to see that we were nice and comfortable. We hope that we will get to meet the owner on our next visit and tell her how much we loved our stay. We will continue to stay there unless there is just no vacancy at the time we go to Jefferson. The antique shopping there is wonderful and the bakery is great. If you need pizza order at Bulldog's. Sooo tasty!

Excellent! Wonderful accommodations at Austin Street. Had a bit of trouble finding "the Bakery." Actually the "Bayou Bakery" in town.

Spent a couple of weeknights in the Romantic Haven cottage. Very comfortable and clean cottage with some extra goodies thrown in for good measure. Safe location and very close to the downtown area. Belinda was a wonderful host and we look forward to visiting her again. Highly recommended.

My fiance booked a special mini vacation for us as a surprise celebration of our recent engagement. When we got into Jefferson, I was excited as I'd always wanted to explore the historic town. Then we drove up to the cottages and I got even more excited. We stayed in the Romantic Haven suite. It was all I could have hoped for and more. Clean, quiet, comfy and cozy is the best way to describe the cottages!! Belinda is just as sweet as could be. She was warm and welcoming. And her new pup Annie was just as enjoyable! Belinda offered up a lot of wonderful recommendations for food and exploration. We will definitely be back to Jefferson as there is so much more to see and do. Next time we come back we will definitely be staying at the Austin Street Cottages.

This was my first time staying in a B/B. We had a wonderful time! The cottage was so charming. Liked having our own entrance. Sitting in the little garden area was such a treat to watch the humming birds. We took a carriage ride, went on the ghost tour -no ghost sightings :( -it was fun to learn some history, the museum was very interesting! We enjoyed our stay and did not want it it end!
