Super clean, and VERY friendly and helpful owner (Belinda) This place was everything a B&B should be from the comfy bed, nice cottage touches, and ease of check in/out. Great value, I would recommend this place to anyone of any age staying in Jefferson. Even the location is easy to find.

We stayed in the Romantic Haven a couple of weeks back. We were so pleased that we did! This is not a typical B & B! It sooooo reminds me of my grandmother's home ! We were so very comfortable here we will always remember it as special. The owners father was ill when we stayed there, so her friend came to see that we were nice and comfortable. We hope that we will get to meet the owner on our next visit and tell her how much we loved our stay. We will continue to stay there unless there is just no vacancy at the time we go to Jefferson. The antique shopping there is wonderful and the bakery is great. If you need pizza order at Bulldog's. Sooo tasty!

Excellent! Wonderful accommodations at Austin Street. Had a bit of trouble finding "the Bakery." Actually the "Bayou Bakery" in town.

Spent a couple of weeknights in the Romantic Haven cottage. Very comfortable and clean cottage with some extra goodies thrown in for good measure. Safe location and very close to the downtown area. Belinda was a wonderful host and we look forward to visiting her again. Highly recommended.

My fiance booked a special mini vacation for us as a surprise celebration of our recent engagement. When we got into Jefferson, I was excited as I'd always wanted to explore the historic town. Then we drove up to the cottages and I got even more excited. We stayed in the Romantic Haven suite. It was all I could have hoped for and more. Clean, quiet, comfy and cozy is the best way to describe the cottages!! Belinda is just as sweet as could be. She was warm and welcoming. And her new pup Annie was just as enjoyable! Belinda offered up a lot of wonderful recommendations for food and exploration. We will definitely be back to Jefferson as there is so much more to see and do. Next time we come back we will definitely be staying at the Austin Street Cottages.

Hats off to Ms Belinda LeTulle, a very sweet and wonderful lady who made our stay very nice. Enjoyed the visit and getting to meet personally this sweet lady. All the goodies left for us to eat plus the coupons for breakfast appreciated. Our stay was fabulous!!

This was my first time staying in a B/B. We had a wonderful time! The cottage was so charming. Liked having our own entrance. Sitting in the little garden area was such a treat to watch the humming birds. We took a carriage ride, went on the ghost tour -no ghost sightings :( -it was fun to learn some history, the museum was very interesting! We enjoyed our stay and did not want it it end! My husband and I just spent the last couple of days in Jefferson for a short vacation. We stayed at Austin Street Cottages in the Romantic Haven. This was our second visit at Austin Street Cottages and we plan to stay again in the future. The cottage is very warm and inviting. Its location to all the shops and restaurants couldn't be more convenient - just a short walk. Belinda is very sweet and accommodating. She made excellent recommendations for places to eat and the breakfast coupons she provides for The Bakery really come in handy (be sure to try the cinnamon raisin toast. It's excellent!).

It is a wonderful Bed and Breakfast. We loved the individual cottages with our own entrance instead of being inside of a house. It is comfortable and tastefully decorated. We have stayed there before and definitely plan on returning! Belinda is so sweet and made sure we had everything we needed.

The romantic cottage is quaint and quiet. Perfect for a weekend away in a friendly town. The cottage was clean and well kept, walking distance to shops and restaurants, but quiet even on a busy Saturday night. We would definitely stay there again! Great value.

We LOVED our night's stay in the Romantic Haven cottage. Belinda is the sweetest, and the room was extremely cozy, relaxing, and well decorated. We used our coupon to enjoy breakfast at the local restaurant and it was DELICIOUS! By far the most decadent french toast I've ever eaten! We've been recommending this place to all of our friends who mention visiting Jefferson and can't wait to return!

My husband and I visited Jefferson for an anniversary weekend getaway. This was our first experience with a bed and breakfast and we absolutely loved it. We stayed in the "Romantic Haven" and Belinda has decorated the suite perfectly. I loved the decor - and the little details that made it feel even more like home. There was a snack basket and drinks in the mini-fridge and the towels were wonderfully soft. I loved the autonomy of having our own cottage and it was within walking distance to everything we wanted to see during our stay in town. Vouchers for breakfast at The Bakery were included for a yummy meal on Sunday morning.

We completely enjoyed our stay at Austin Street Cottages. Belinda keeps the cottages very clean. The location is within a block of the downtown area which makes walking downtown very easy and convenient. The only item I would change is the breakfast coupons for The Bakery. While the food at The Bakery is excellent, the $5 coupon only covers about half of the cost and the service is very, very slow as they are always short staff. But, it's nice to eat when you're ready and eat what you like.

I have stayed in the main cottage with a group of friends which was perfect. My husband and I stayed in the rustic retreat, which was great as well. Its so close to down town and so inviting. Will definitely be going back....

We could not have found a more perfect place for our girls getaway. We stayed in the Rustic Retreat for 4 nights & would like to have stayed longer. It was very convenient to the parking area for loading & unloading the car. We enjoyed the private courtyard, comfortable beds & cozy atmosphere. Although small, we had plenty of room & the bedroom was larger than expected with king bed. The breakfast coupons for The Bakery Restaurant every morning were definitely a plus. We were very close to downtown & shopping. Thanks Belinda for your warm hospitality & a great 4 nights stay!

The Austin Street Cottages are in a lovely setting within walking distance of downtown Jefferson. The setting was cozy and on a charming street. The ambience of the cottage was rustic and comfy. The challenge came when we readied ourselves to retire for the night. The king sized bed was comfortable and the room spacious. However, the air conditioner was in the wall directly above our bed. I had to stand on the bed to reach the controls. It was extremely noisy and kept us awake a good part of the night. Being in East Texas when the temperature is 97 degrees, the air had to stay on. It would be a definite improvement for the management to update this charming cottage with central air and add a digital thermostat. When using the bathroom sink one has to duck under the shelf placed above it so one's head could fit. The bathtub is a charming clawfoot tub but seniors beware as it was very hard climbing in and out and to maintain one's footing while showering. While the management does not provide breakfast, we walked into town with our coupons to a local restaurant they left for us. The breakfast was great and we met many of the town locals there and had a great time.

We loved the cottage decor and privacy of our suite. The grounds were beautifully kept where we enjoyed watching the redbirds, hummingbirds and even late night deer. We enjoyed the breakfast coupons for downtown since we like to sleep in late when on vacation and this gave us the flexibility of schedule to use the coupons whenever we wished. Fantastic find!

Four girls away for the weekend and what an absolutely WONDERFUL place to spend it. So quaint and well done. We loved having the kitchen and the privacy of our own little cottage. We stayed up late laughing and drinking wine and didn't have to worry about bothering anyone. It was so close to downtown and had a private drive. Belinda answered all of our questions and even had the Christmas lights on for us when we got there. Excellent!

We stayed in the Main Cottage over the Thanksgiving Weekend-I adored this place. A Beautifully Restored Cottage that is so close to downtown that you can walk everywhere. It as cozy, warm, and welcoming. Can't wait to go back sometime in the Spring. Better than any of the B&B's in Jefferson-your own little hideaway :)

My Husband and I stayed in the "Romantic Haven" Cottage for my Birthday Weekend-such a cute, cozy, antique cottage. It is only one block from downtown Jefferson so you can walk everywhere. A great value and so close to the Historic District.
