    The NEW Ranch house celebrates all things Texas. The large suites are beautiful,comfortable & some have hot tubs in the bedroom. The outdoor "hot tub" has powerful jets that massage. Each suite has private ensuite bathroom with shower, private entrance, individually controlled air conditioning, comfortable chairs and great beds! FREE breakfast & supper. We are registered with the city as a non-smoking facility and cannot accommodate smokers. Across the street, the charming Craftsman-style cottage was built in 1927 and completely remodeled in 2006. Everybody just loves this place! We welcome children at the cottage. We combine Texas history with whimsical amusement. The atmosphere is comfortable and peaceful. You will love the place! There is no place like this anywhere else, so book here! Close by you can enjoy lunch and dinner. City parks, public library, dry cleaners, grocery stores and shops are just a few minutes away. Verizon Theatre is 3 miles and Cowboy Stadium is 10 miles. The $13 million indoor city pool and senior citizens buildings are just 3 blocks away. Board the train at the station only 5 blocks away. It can take you to DFW airport, downtown Dallas, American Airlines Center, Baylor hospital, Bell Helicopter, downtown Fort Worth (where you can enjoy great art galleries or visit the Stockyards entertainment area).       The DFW airport is in the city of Irving. By auto, use the airport South exit and head east on Highway 183 toward Dallas for 3.9 miles and exit O'Connor Road. Turn right (south) on O'Connor Road and go 1.9 miles until it dead-ends into Sixth Street. Turn left onto Sixth St. and go 3 blocks to Jefferson St. (Turn at the 'clothes hanger sign of the Centre Cleaners.) We are on the Northeast corner of Jefferson and Sixth Street. At the airport you can catch the bus shuttle to the Trinity Rail Express (except on Sundays, see ww.TrinityRailwayExpress.ORG) Get off at the South Irving Transit Station and walk 5 blocks south on Jefferson Street. We are also convenient to Love Field airport. Turn right on Mockingbird Lane. Go 2.6 miles and turn right onto Irving Blvd. Go 4 miles and turn left onto Jefferson Street (at the Chase Bank Bldg.) Go 4 blocks and we are on the left.

    We had the most welcoming and relaxing visit! As soon as we pulled in and got to our room, the owner came to greet us and brought us fresh coffee and 1/2 and 1/2. The room was large, clean and cozy. The tile in the bathroom floor was heated and so your feet don't freeze when you get up in the morning. We will be staying here again on our next visit.

    We occupied the Coast room and the in-room whirlpool tub was a definite winner. If you want a quiet comfortable place to stay, this is it in Irving Texas.

    I took my wife here for our year anniversary the same night as the BB King show at the Verizon Theatre.. We loved the room, and with the convenient online confirmation that includes the door lock code, were able to check into our room and get back out for dinner and a show without talking to anyone! The next morning we enjoyed the continental breakfast before we left. The service was very friendly, especially compared to the robot treatment that is the norm at most hotels. The room was very cozy and a great change of scenery from hotel rooms that me and my wife frequently visit in travel. I would recommend the Jefferson!

    The room was quiet and comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Jefferson Street Bed and Breakfast and intend on staying there again on my next visit to Texas!
