Sam Rayburn Lakehouse Bed and Breakfast
Just want to get away to the country life, kich back and relax, Come visit our Lakehouse Bed and Breakfast where you can enjoy doing lots or doing nothing at all. There's fishing, boating, skiing, motorcycling, going to the park and other area attractions or just sit on the deck and relax by the lake.
Our lake front rentals sit on Lake Sam Rayburn or as it is known “Big Sam.” We have accommodations including two cozy country rooms in the main house and a duplex cabin in the guesthouse that can be used as one cabin for large groups or families.
Enjoy the sounds of the country while sipping tea on the deck overlooking the lake. Cast a fishing line and relax on the banks waiting for the fish to bite. Ride your motorcycle on some great roads with beautiful scenery or ride a train from Palestine to Rusk. We welcome you.

In Lufkin take Hwy 69 East to Huntington. At the light in Huntington turn Northeast on FM 1669 and continue for .6 miles. Turn East on FM 2109 and continue for about 8 miles until you see the sign for Youngblood Road. Turn left on Youngblood Road. Youngblood goes straight for .5 miles and then curves to the right for .5 miles. When you get to the end of Youngblood Road, turn left onto Boonwood Road and go to 528 Boonwood.

- Deposit amount required (To secure your reservations, a deposit of 1/2 of the lodging is due at the time of making your reservations. The balance is due upon arrival, at which time your credit card will automatically be charged for the balance or a check must be received 14 days prior to arrival.

Our policy is intended to be fair to our guests, yet prevent the loss of income to our business. Our location is such that we do not have a large volume of traffic past our exclusive B&B. We rent our accommodations by advanced reservations only. Once we reserve a guest house for you, we remove it from the market, refusing all other requests.
For cancellations received 14 days or more prior to arrival, deposit will be refunded.
For cancellations received less than 14 days prior to arrival, if room is rebooked, deposit less $15.00 service fee will be returned to you.
Innkeepers

We spend much of our spare time riding the country roads on our motorcycle. We are very family oriented and spend holidays, birthdays, etc with our large extended family. We are involved in our church activities.
Steve comes from a musical background. He has been a drummer since he was 15 yrs. old and has sang all his life.
Jennie likes keeping busy. She enjoys working in her gardens or on her computer. We both enjoy getting to know other people. - The innkeepers speak: English
