My husband and I had a fabulous time during our stay at Sara's B&B. The bed was comfortable and the house was beautiful. Coffee and snacks available at times of the day. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and attending first Saturday art openings.

Room was clean and comfortable in a beautiful, centrally located historic area. Breakfast was amazing and the hosts came through in a fashion emergency - my husband forgot his cufflinks and Connie lent us a pair of her son's. It was a wonderful weekend! thank you!

My family from Japan stayed here for 6 nights. They loved the beautiful building, rooms, and breakfast and very kind lady who prepared breakfast. She was very helpful for me to check-in and out. You cannot find an accommodation like Sara's with the reasonable price. I definitely return back to Sara's for my future gues

We very much enjoyed our stay at Sara's. I love staying at places that have charm, history, and setting, which Sara's provided to the fullest. That is so much more enjoyable than staying at a chain motel or hotel. Our hosts and the accommodations were wonderful. We liked the 24/7 coffee service, and the brownies were a nice touch. We thought the breakfast was very complete and satisfying. We will certainly think of Sara's the next time we are in Houston.

My husband and I stayed at Sara's for our anniversary. We enjoyed the stay! The owner greeted us at the door and showed us around and then to our room. We were told to "make ourselves at home and come and go as it were our own home". Their expansive selection of local menus made selecting where to eat dinner very easy. The Saturday breakfast was wonderful with sausage and egg quiche made fresh, fresh fruit, juice, coffee, cereals yogurt, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs or eggs made to order, and Belgian waffles. The lady who served our breakfast was quite wonderful and entertaining! loved the atmosphere there and hope we can return for another occasion!

My partner and I came back to town on a Sunday night and found that our air conditioner was broken (in the middle of the Texas heat!). We were a little past the regular check-in time but Connie was nice enough to accommodate us anyway. It was a short and sweet stay. The home and room were very clean, bed and linens comfortable, and I loved the brownies in the kitchen at night! Breakfast was a great value and the woman who cooked took care of our every dining need. After staying here I'm not sure why anyone would want to stay at a similarly priced hotel!

Sara's is quiet and private. Breakfast has a great variety and Ms. Jean, the cook, was delightful. It is conveniently located near downtown. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to family and friends.
