    Centrally located bed & breakfast Inn minutes from Downtown Houston in the Historic Heights District. Eleven rooms with private baths nicely furnished for business, vacation travelers or romantic getaways. The entire Inn may be reserved for retreats, receptions, weddings, business meetings, family reunions or other occasions. We have wi-fi, voice mail, hair dryers, robe, shampoo and conditioner and LCD TVs, iron and ironing board. From Houston Hobby Airport: Take Broadway to I-45 North (left at freeway) to Downtown. Proceed on I-45 North past Downtown. Exit West on I-10. Take the Heights exit. Proceed on the feeder road to the first stop light, which is Heights Boulevard. Turn Right Sara¿s Bed & Breakfast is located approximately 6 blocks on the left in between 9th and 10th Street. From San Antonio & Austin, Texas: Take I-10 East to Houston. Stay on I-10 East to right past the 610 Loop. After you pass under the 610 loop take the Heights/Studemont St. exit and u-turn under the freeway to the other side of the feeder going west. The first red light you come to will be Heights Blvd. Take a right and Sara¿s Bed & Breakfast Inn is located approximately 6 blocks down on the left in between 9th and 10th Street. From Beaumont & Louisiana: Take I-10 West to Houston. Proceed on I-10 past Downtown Houston. Get in your right hand lane after passing downtown, take the Heights Blvd. exit.(approx. 1-2 miles past Downtown). Proceed on the feeder road to the first stop light, which is Heights Boulevard.     Been there before and will be there again, when we want a place to stay in Houston. Great location, friendly innkeepers and Jeanie is wonderful with breakfast!

    We will definitely go back. Breakfast was perfectly delicious and hot! Loved the coffee machine! Very nice owners and staff.

    My partner and I came back to town on a Sunday night and found that our air conditioner was broken (in the middle of the Texas heat!). We were a little past the regular check-in time but Connie was nice enough to accommodate us anyway. It was a short and sweet stay. The home and room were very clean, bed and linens comfortable, and I loved the brownies in the kitchen at night! Breakfast was a great value and the woman who cooked took care of our every dining need. After staying here I'm not sure why anyone would want to stay at a similarly priced hotel!

    Sara's is quiet and private. Breakfast has a great variety and Ms. Jean, the cook, was delightful. It is conveniently located near downtown. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to family and friends.

    My wife and I spent part of our honeymoon here. It had a great atmosphere and was very comfortable. We plan to return in the future!
