My family from Japan stayed here for 6 nights. They loved the beautiful building, rooms, and breakfast and very kind lady who prepared breakfast. She was very helpful for me to check-in and out. You cannot find an accommodation like Sara's with the reasonable price. I definitely return back to Sara's for my future gues

My husband and I stayed at Sara's for our anniversary. We enjoyed the stay! The owner greeted us at the door and showed us around and then to our room. We were told to "make ourselves at home and come and go as it were our own home". Their expansive selection of local menus made selecting where to eat dinner very easy. The Saturday breakfast was wonderful with sausage and egg quiche made fresh, fresh fruit, juice, coffee, cereals yogurt, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs or eggs made to order, and Belgian waffles. The lady who served our breakfast was quite wonderful and entertaining! loved the atmosphere there and hope we can return for another occasion!

Been there before and will be there again, when we want a place to stay in Houston. Great location, friendly innkeepers and Jeanie is wonderful with breakfast!

We will definitely go back. Breakfast was perfectly delicious and hot! Loved the coffee machine! Very nice owners and staff.

My partner and I came back to town on a Sunday night and found that our air conditioner was broken (in the middle of the Texas heat!). We were a little past the regular check-in time but Connie was nice enough to accommodate us anyway. It was a short and sweet stay. The home and room were very clean, bed and linens comfortable, and I loved the brownies in the kitchen at night! Breakfast was a great value and the woman who cooked took care of our every dining need. After staying here I'm not sure why anyone would want to stay at a similarly priced hotel!

Sara's is quiet and private. Breakfast has a great variety and Ms. Jean, the cook, was delightful. It is conveniently located near downtown. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to family and friends.

My wife and I spent part of our honeymoon here. It had a great atmosphere and was very comfortable. We plan to return in the future!

I stayed two nights at Sara's and liked it so well, I will never stay at a hotel in Houston again - as long as I can snag a room here. Easy parking, uber-clean, friendly (especially the breakfast cook), comfortable bed. I've stayed at many b&bs, and this was far and away my best experience to date.

Matches up with the best of B&Bs - The room while comfortable squeezed in a King size bed that was really very sleep worthy and the breakfasts were outstanding - from freshly cooked eggs and caseroles to the fruits, breads and cakes - it was well worth getting up each morning for those treats and of course every afternoon the brownies were waiting for us in the kitchen. Run by a very hospitable couple who live right behind the B&B - gives a feeling of compfort and security.....and the location is dynamite.....

I was "introduced" to Sara's Inn by my beautiful daughter-in-law as a gift; on a return trip to Houston, I chose Sara's Inn not only because of the convenience of being located so close to my family's home, but also because I enjoy absolutely everything about it. The owners are energetic and personable, as well as the staff. I will definitely return.

I requested as many rooms as were available at Sara's Bed and Breakfast Inn as I had several extended family members who were flying to Houston to attend my mom's memorial. We were initially able to get nine of the 11 rooms. However, the proprietor offered to see if she could persuade the guests of the other two rooms to stay at another nearby inn by paying for their first nights stay out of her own pocket. I was both touched and thrilled. My entire family was able to stay at the Inn. We also had the use of the reception room downstairs where there was an abundance of room, plus tables and chairs. The Innkeepers had also set out homemade brownies, in addition to coffee cakes and sodas for us. Additionally, they provided a recommendation for an excellent caterer and made themselves available for any other requests. One of the Innkeepers, Bob, met me at the door as soon as I arrived and made sure that everyone was settled and comfortable. There were televisions in the rooms and internet available downstairs. The Inn is located in an historic Houston neighborhood. There are many restaurants, playgrounds, and other venues within walking distance. Hobby airport and the Galleria are less than 30 minutes drive. I have done extensive traveling and I can say that I highly recommend this Inn for a stay.

We would definitely come back to Sara's Inn. We stayed in the Grandbury Room. Our room was clean, cozy, and private. We are actually from Houston. This was a stay-cation for us. My husband and I needed a relaxing weekend together and that is what we got at Sara's. We also enjoyed our breakfast. There were lots of home-made treats to eat. There were different teas and coffees to choose from as well. Coffee is available 24/7 and so are brownies--two of my favorite things. :)

It was a great experience. I never have such personal service as I did in Sara. Due to family death, I had to shorten my stay. Since I was so emotional and the rental car co. won't come to pick my car. The co-owner offered to take me the nearby rental car location to drop off the rental car. On our way, he reminded to tell a cab company to airport's rate was regulated so I should only pay the flat rate by meter. He was right, and cab driver only charged me the flat rate not by the meter. During my stay, both owners and their staff were great to our group. I definitely liked to go back if I happen to be in the area again! I recommended anyone to stay there!!!

This beautiful Queen Anne inn is only minutes from downtown Houston, in the charming and historic Heights neighborhood. Rooms are lovely, breakfast is something to rave about, service is friendly and every convenience has been provided. There is a walking/jogging path right across the street and there are many restaurants and shops in the area.

We had another great stay at Sara's. Great location, comfortable rooms, beautifully decorated inn, friendly and accomodating staff and innkeepers, extensive breakfast selection and homemade brownies! We will definitely recommend Sara's to our friends.

What a nice, relaxing weekend we had staying at Sara's Inn on the Boulevard. Our Hosts were wonderful, and the breakfast devine (Thanks Jean). We loved our room and especially enjoyed checking out the vacant rooms which were left open for our enjoyment. We will definately stay at Sara's again. Thanks

My husband and I celebrated our 1st anniversary at Sara's Inn. Beautiful place and although we are native Houstonians,it was the perfect staycation. Hope to get back real soon.

From the initial awe of the beautiful facade, Sara's Inn will surpass your expectations and leave you with a warm cozy feeling inside. This place is truly an amazing experience and is highly recommended.

Everything about Sara's Inn exceeded my expectations. I got much more than I paid for in terms of value. The location, The Heights neighborhood of Houston, is beautiful with restored Victorian-style homes, some converted into offices or other types of businesses. I enjoyed an evening walk, then the next morning a jog on the walking/jogging trail that runs right in front of the Inn. The trail is obviously popular with the locals, as I saw numerous people walking, jogging or taking their dog for a stroll. There are lots of restaurants to choose from within just a few miles of the Inn and the museum district, one of the reasons I chose Sara's, is no more than about 5 miles to the south. The location couldn't be better. My room, the Dallas Room, was clean and nicely decorated, the bathroom was large with a jacuzzi tub as well as a large shower. The king-size bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in, better than most hotel beds in my experience. The lady who prepared the complimentary breakfasts was very sweet and accomodating and very enjoyable to visit with. I told her I hope to return to Houston again for another vacation before long and I definitely plan to stay at Sara's again.

Sara's Inn is very charming and located in a great location. We could get to all the places we wanted in 5 or so miles. The rooms were quite nice and very clean. The breakfast was wonderful and the service and hospitality was excellent! Will definetely return to Sara's Inn.

We had a wonderful and relaxing time in this beautiful B & B. The bed and linens were very plush and comfortable, and the quiet surroundings were a welcomed experience after staying in hotels. For breakfast, the cook made special, prepared to order food that was delicious. We couldn't have been happier.

I recently stayed at Sara's Inn and just loved it! The Inn is spotless, very well maintained and the wonderful woman who makes breakfast (unfortunately, I don't remember her name) was a delight as was the food. I booked 4 rooms at Sara's for individuals attending a workshop that my company organized. These were 4 individuals from different parts of the country who had no prior experience with Sara's. They absolutely raved about the B&B! They each commented on how comfortable, charming and nicely appointed the Inn was. As the coordinator Connie the Innkeeper worked with me to insure my guests would be well taken care of and they certainly were. I'll recommend Sara's every chance I get!

I need a place to get away and relax for a couple of nights during a tough trip, and this was it. Calm, peaceful, very friendly owners and staff, spotless, interesting rooms, great breakfast. I'll be back next time I'm in Houston. Good restaurants and shops to walk to nearby, free parking at the Inn. A great value, less expensive than the decent chain hotels I had looked into, and a far nicer place to stay. Well done, folks.

This was our second stay at Sara's and, like the first stay, we hated to leave. The area is so lovely -- a beautiful part of town to walk in. The house is so beautiful -- it truly is hard to pick which room you would like to stay in for the next visit! The entire Inn is furnished so beautifully, all the bedrooms are so comfortable, the owners are wonderful, and the breakfasts are great. The woman who tends to everyone's needs at breakfast is so sweet and so accommodating. We had an early plane to catch and could not eat breakfast at the Inn, and she made sure that we took something along to eat at the airport. We look so forward to staying at Sara's again in the near future.

This was our first stay at Sara's Inn and my wife and I found it to be a truly charming B&B. The inn is furnished in early-1900's style, consistent with the Victorian home style. It is located in a historic area of Houston and there is no feel of being in a big city, despite being within 5 miles of downtown. Various size rooms are available - we selected a smaller room but found it to be very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of selections and provided an opportunity to meet & talk with other guests. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely will go back.

The rooms were elegant and well furnished. They were comfortable and well laid out. The staff was very helpful with check in, billing, carrying my bags, and providing information on local restaurants and activities. A great place to relax after a hard day at work.

My husband & I stayed here last year during a brief weekend trip. It's close to a trendy little shopping district. The owners & staff were all friendly & helpful. The brownie availability around the clock was outstanding & yummy! Despite having to leave before breakfast hours on departure, the kind & thoughtful chef accomodated us with a hot breakfast before we left! Wonderful hospitality all in all.

The staff wa svery nice. they even bumped us up to a nicer room since there werent many others staying there. enjoyed our stay and the privacy.
