Inn Details
(.oldrockhousehico. ) Come stay in Hico's historic 1870's rock home located right off the downtown square that has been restored to it's original rock walls, hardwood floors, and beadboard ceilings with central H/A. It has 3 bedrooms, appointed with luxury linens and antiques, and 2 baths, with walk-in showers and an original clawfoot tub. There is a fully furnished kitchen with a fridge, micro, stove, coffee/tea, and everything else you would need. Our guests are given a breakfast voucher to the famous Koffee Kup Restaurant. We were voted #1 Bed and Breakfast by Ride Texas Magazine.

The decor is amazing and truly makes you step back in time. After a full day of shopping Hico, driving to the nearby towns and shopping in Dublin and Stephenville and visiting the vineyard in Bluffdale, it was so nice to come back to our "home" and just rock in the chairs on the porch and enjoy the peaceful outdoor surroundings. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and the beds comfy. The clawfoot bathtub reminded me of my grandma's. A lovely place to stay.

This beautiful old rockhouse was a tribute to real Texas personality. We enjoyed rocking and swinging among the old oaks outside as well as enjoying the western comfort inside.
