I booked the B&B sight unseen for myself and my 3 Baylor "roomies" from the class of 1960 (do the math). It could not have been more perfect, from the individual rooms with private baths to the delicious Breakfasts. The outdoor gardens were lovely and very enjoyable. Stan and Kay were the consummate hosts, giving total attention to our comfort. Granburys B&B's are the best in Texas.

Stan and Kay were gracious hosts! The only problem was we were over committed to our daughter's wedding and really didn't get to enjoy the or participate in all that was provided!!! I do recommend Granbury Gardens if you need a relaxing weekend!!!!!

Stayed in the Doyle Room for a couple of nights here. This was our first B&B experience. The owners Stan & Kay were exceptional hosts. Stan met us on the porch upon arriving with a warm welcome. The hospitality was more than professional - it was sincere and friendly. The 2 breakfasts were out of this world. Home cooking at its best. We loved it! Kay's chocolate chip cookies she baked fresh daily were heavenly! The Inn is walking distance to the downtown square where there is a multitude of things to do. Thanks again Stan & Kay for making our 8th anniversary so special. Hope to see you both again real soon!!!!!!!

Kay and Stan are perfect examples of people who are living a calling. As soon as you arrive you feel like they are rolling out the red carpet. They welcome you into their home and make you feel like it is yours. By the time you leave you feel like old friends. Both Kay and Stan are there to pamper you and do their best to make you comfortable and relaxed. The home is beautiful and very accommodating. They offer many perks like snacks and home made cookies. We will definitely go back and enjoy Granbury Gardens as well as refer our friends.

Stan and Kay are wonderful! They made us feel welcomed immediately. They strive to make Granbury Gardens a peaceful retreat and they have succeeded. Breakfast is amazing! We stayed in the Doyle room where the bathroom was across the hall, but gardens in the back and the service more than made up for that.

We enjoyed our stay at Granbury Gardens. Beautiful home, good location, excellent breakfast, warm and helpful hosts. Highly recommended.

This is our second time staying at Grandbury Gardens and I have to say we will be back again soon. Stan and Kay are the sweetest innkeepers who truly care to make your stay enjoyable. Stan gave us excellent recommendations for dining, even making reservations for us on a busy Friday night. The breakfast each morning just get better and better!!! We enjoyed the Jacuzzi among the back yard gardens as well.
5 on August 04, 2014
The owners were very nice! They gave us a tour of the beautiful gardens, took pictures of my wife & I together for our anniversary, and made a 5 course breakfast that was incredible. Food was better than any restaurant I've been to for breakfast (in my mind gourmet). Also had cookies, snacks, water, and coffee available anytime of day. Great hosts and fun location!

Stan and Kay were so very accommodating and displayed the right amount of guest involvement. Breakfast was superb, and they catered to my gluten-free diet. They are such great people who have a slice of heaven in Granbury.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved the service, the amazing gourmet breakfast, and the overall quality. The one negative was cobwebs but we can spin that and say that we were being protected from unwanted flying insects.

If you are looking for a charming setting, warm hospitality and an absolutely wonderful breakfast, let me recommend Granbury Gardens Bed and Breakfast. We had a great stay!

Stan & Kay are the ultimate inn keepers. You are home when you arrive at their home. Every detail to make your stay comfortable has been attended to when you arrive. Fresh cookies and snacks await. Rooms are beautifully decorated, comfortable, and private. This is a great destination for a couple, single, or small group An outdoor bar, hot tub, tables and chairs for relaxing are in the back, surrounded by a beautiful garden and fountains. The delicious gourmet breakfasts will keep you going for the entire day. Granbury Gardens is just a few blocks from historical Granbury Square where you will find great shopping, entertainment, museums and art venues. You will not be disappointed!

This being our first B&B we weren't real sure what to expect. Stan and Kay made the 3 day stay one of the most wonderful weekends we could have imagined. The feeling of being welcome and the home setting was beyond what we expected. Kay also recommended a location for a couples massage that was fantastic. The rooms are beautiful and the Garden was so tranquil. We will definitely be making trips back. The Grandbury Gardens is a wonderful place for a quite get away, stress free and breathtaking. Kay is a fantastic cook. The breakfasts were well above any restaurant that we have been to and she bakes like a dream!

We loved our stay at Granbury Gardens and can't wait for a chance to return. Beautiful historic property, Stan and Kay are a pleasure to visit with and provide excellent service and hospitality. Location was great, just a short walk from all the activity at the square but nestled in a quieter neighborhood

Enjoyed the two days here in Granbury at Granbury Gardens. Charming host and hostess made all the difference. I would definitely recommend this as a "must" for this area. Amenities supplement the "breakfast table" discussions with Stan, Kay and the other guests.

I've been staying at this bnb for years. My husband and I just spent our first anniversary there on June 22, 2014 and we had such a great time! My husband had never been to a bnb before and I wanted his first experience to the best. The weekend we were there, the city flooded. Stan met us at the gate with an umbrella - their attention to the small details and the friendliness they offer make this one of the best! Needless to say, my husband is now hooked and we can't wait to come back! Thank you Kay and Stan! See you soon!

After hearing so many people talk about historic Granbury, Texas, my husband and I decided to check it out for ourselves. Our two-night stay with the Wasielewskis at Granbury Gardens could not have been lovelier. Of the many B & B's in which we have stayed during our travels, their beautifully appointed home and gardens, delicious gourmet breakfasts, and Kay's afternoon cookies top them all for relaxation and enjoyment. Stan and Kay made us feel at right at home from the moment we arrived, and when we left, we felt as though we were leaving new friends. We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else but Granbury Gardens Bed & Breakfast when we return to Granbury. The Collings

My wife and I spent the weekend at the Granbury Gardens B&B and were very impressed. The hosts, Stan and Kay, were most courteous, friendly and helpful during our stay. We would highly recommend their B&B to anyone. We would definitely stay there again. Loved the breakfasts.

We just got back from a 2-night stay celebrating our anniversary and we had an amazing time! We stayed in the Garden Suite and the room was very comfortable and relaxing. The reason I gave the room 4 stars instead of 5 was that it was a little small but that's to be expected with older houses. Really wasn't that big of a deal. Kay & Stan were so hospitable and offered great suggestions for attractions and places to eat. We had a great time talking to them at breakfast about how they came to own the B&B. And speaking of the breakfasts-- SO GOOD! We had different breakfasts each morning and they were both delicious! Each had several courses-- a fruit-based dish (one with yogurt and granola), a kind of muffin, the main dish, and then a sorbet (i.e. crack filler!). Very delicious and worth every calorie! The location was great- just a few minutes walk away from the historic square. We can't wait to go back and enjoy another weekend in Granbury.

The gardens were beautiful. The entire place was spotless. Tastefully decorated. Very congenial hosts, Stan & Kay. Awesome breakfast. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The town square, a short walk away, is very nice. Great park, shops & dining. A local furniture store had some good values on interesting stuff. We'd highly recommend Granbury Gardens for a relaxing stay. Bob & Sheila

We have spent our last four wedding anniversaries at Granbury Gardens. It is the only B & B we have ever been to. But we have never considered visiting any others. Because Stan and Kay are so friendly and generous, the house is beautiful and the breakfast is wonderful. This year was our 20th anniversary. And it was very special. See you next year Stan and Kay!

We just got back from spending 2 nights at this B&B with friends. We were greeted and made welcome by Stan and Kay the innkeepers. Because our group had all the rooms booked we were able to explore each room and they were all very nice. Our bed was extremely comfortable and I had two of the best nights sleeps I've had in a while. Both the inn and the grounds were well maintained. The fireplace and hot tub in the back yard is where we spent both evenings and provided a relaxing atmosphere. The breakfasts were both as good as any breakfast I have every had at a B&B. We would definitely stay at this B&B again

We LOVED our stay here! We were fortunate to be the only guests on a Sunday night after they had a full weekend. The house was beautiful and homey and our room was comfortable and quaint. The decor was appropriate and not overdone...perfect. The yard, gardens and porch were peaceful as we sat out reading for hours and the hot tub was a treat. The location of just off the square gave privacy and calm while still being close enough to walk to the square. The breakfast was AMAZING...creative and delicious! Stan and Kay are incredible hosts...the perfect amount of attention, hospitality and privacy. We chose to spend time getting to know them and their sweet dog at breakfast and it was a joy! Highly recommend!!!

Away from the noise of the Square yet close enough for a stroll, shop or eat. Good lighting for bedtime reading and 2 comfortable armchairs for resting (Garden Room). Delicious 4-course breakfast elegantly presented. The hosts are very personable and gracious. They are always near if you have any need. This was our 2nd visit and we plan to return.

Kay and Stan are gracious hostess and host and we loved becoming part of their home and family with other guests. Beautifully decorated, luxurious bedding, a fabulous garden and hot tub! Breakfast service was several courses with lovely presentation and excellent foods! This historic Granbury home is within blocks of the Square and was owned by my Grandmother decades ago so it was delightful for my mother, my daughter and her husband to share the visit. Of course we will return! Grateful thanks!
We can't tell you how much we enjoyed your stay with us and what an honor to get to know your family and sweet Minnie Mae. Thank you for all the stories of our home and please come to see us again very soon.

Stan and Kay greeted us immediately upon our arrival. Gave us a tour of the property and learned that it is over 100 years old! We stayed in the Archer Room, small but plenty large enough for my husband and I. Has an attached private bathroom and the tub is jetted, which was really enjoyable for this pregnant mama. There is a mini fridge in the dining room which was great for our dinner leftovers. Breakfast was not my taste, I don't care for peppers, onions or cherries and unfortunately the breakfast had all of that. I tried to eat as much as I could to not be rude, but I LOVED the spice muffin served first and wanted more of those! Delicious! We would really love to stay here again. Beautiful place, great location, lovely hosts. Thank you!
Thank you for your honest and kind words of our B&B. So sorry some of the breakfast was not to your liking. When you come back again, (and we truly hope you do) please remind me of your dislikes and we will certainly accommodate them. I will bake you 2 spice muffins next time!!

Personable innkeepers with a great knowledge of what guests require for a memorable stay. The communal areas were lovely and comfortable. Our room was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and most importantly very quiet. Breakfast was the high point of our stay, a not soon to be forgotten four/five course feast pleasantly accompanied by conversation with our hosts. You will not find many B & B's with more value to offer.

My husband and I had plans in Granbury early on a Wednesday morning and so we decided to stay overnight on Tuesday. The best decision we made was choosing Granbury Gardens. Stan was "flying solo" during our stay as his wife was traveling, and so our only regret was that we missed meeting Kay. We arrived late in icy conditions, but Stan greeted us warmly and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He was so accommodating of our special needs. The house was decorated for Christmas and was so cozy. My husand especially enjoyed Angel, their terrior mix. Stan sent us on our way the next morning with a scrumptious, hearty breakfast. We will look forward to staying here again in the future.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Granbury Gardens B&B - what a delight! The owners, Stan and Kay, could not have been more welcoming, entertaining and helpful. Their home and gardens are lovely, and we enjoyed a delightful gourmet breakfast. Stan and Kay also recommended local dining and shopping areas that were wonderful. We look forward to visiting again - Jim and Karen Dolan

We recently stayed at Granbury Gardens. We were met at the door by the Stan and Kay. The landscaping is lovely. There were delicious cookies waiting for us to eat. We used the outdoor fireplace in the evening. We stayed in the Doyle Room. It has a private bath across the hall. The beds were comfortable. The front room was a nice place to sit and visit. Breakfast was good.

First off, let me say that our stay was part of a group of 4 couples that were long time friends. As such, we probably needed less entertainment from the host than most groups. I thoroughly enjoyed the facilities and comfort and the rooms were very nice. Having stayed in a number of B&B's I prefer those that are less structured. Our group had the entire facility so it would have not been a bother to inquire as to when we as a group wanted Breakfast. Also, the food was very good, but perhaps a selection of muffins instead of all one kind. For those meat eaters, I would like to suggest bacon, sausage or ham be included. I know this does not fit the gourmet theme, but as an innkeeper it is always to read the guests. Also, since this was a taste testing trip for a smokehouse, it would have been easy to incorporate some of those products into the menu. I would stay again.

The next morning we were treated to an outstanding breakfast and treated royally. We so enjoyed visiting with Stan & Kay and reccommend this B & B highly.

We four couples have been friends for 30 years and call ourselves the BFF group. Twice a year we plan an escape to connect and catch up now that our children have moved on. We just returned from two exceptional nights at the Granbury Gardens B&B, renting the entire inn. Our expectations were exceeded from the moment we arrived -- Kay and Stan made us feel welcome, and our weekend improved from there. Our hosts were gracious enough to make sure we had everything we needed, but allowed us to visit on our own terms. The breakfasts were over the top each morning, so much so that we had to wait until around 2 PM before even thinking about lunch! The rooms were impeccably decorated, and Stan made a fire in the outdoor fireplace so that we could sit around and visit. Stan and Kay were generous with recommendations around the area to the point of telling us how to secure discounts at wineries. We all agreed that we will be returning in future years! Lovely house - lovingly restored with 'updates' kept unobtrusive. Delightful couple. Very cordial and interesting conversationalists. Peaceful setting. James and I enjoyed our stay at Granbury Gardens B & B tremendously! It is within walking distance of the lovely town square with shops and restaurants. . We arrived at Granbury Gardens approximately 9:30 pm. Stan welcomed us warmly. The house is lovely with a tasteful scattering of antiques. Kay & Stan have done an excellent job of creating a lovely but not intimidating atmosphere. Our room was a bit smaller than we anticipated and felt a bit crowded. However we did not travel light so we are partially at fault. The bed was quite comfortable and the room itself was kept cool enough to snuggle under the comforte . The bathroom is across the hall. I did not like the shower; the nozzle is very high and did not provide even coverage. The service was exceptional. Stan and Kay prepared breakfast early the 4th so we would have time to find a spot to watch the parade. Stan offered us advice on local attractions. Our second morning I did not feel well skipped breakfast and Kay sent fruit to the room. The gardens in the back are lovely, but we most enjoyed sitting in the front porch rockers with our morning cups of coffee and evening glasses of wine feeling the tension drain away in the quiet small town atmoshpere hearing the coutrhouse clock chime in the distance. Thanks Kay and Stan and Angel for the hospitality and welcoming us into your home. Karen & James

The food, the surroundings, the rooms were all well beyond my greastest expectations. It's a memory that I should not soon forget. Thank you Granbury Gardens for the most wonderul relaxing time.

There are almost no words to describe how wonderful this little B&B is! From the moment we arrived, we were showered with amazing hospitality and warmth. The entire facility was impeccibly clean. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The gardens were colorful and well attended. The location was perfect for a stroll into town for dinner, and the outdoor fire place and hot tub were a great way to wind down. We also enjoyed a multi-course, delicious home cooked breakfast in the formal dining room with the other couples staying. While we were not sure about the group setting at first, we found the conversation charming and loved getting to share our lives and histories. We will definitely return the next time we are able to take a trip! Stan and Kay made sure every need we could want was served.

Charming B & B within walking distance of the town square. Accommodations were lovely. The breakfasts were divine. The owners prepared and served wonderful home cooked meals. It's all in the presentation and Stan & Kay did an excellent job. Will stay there again.

We stayed at Granbury Gardens for the Easter weekend. We had such a wonderful stay and felt so relaxed. Stan and Kay are really the most friendly, warm hosts you will ever meet. The breakfasts are really something to wake up to, even for me since I'm not a morning person. The town square is a couple of blocks away and plenty of places to eat. We weren't impressed by the Brazos Smokehouse but to each his own. This was our second stay with Stan and Kay and felt like they were welcoming back old friends. I highly recommend you visit them at least once.

Had a great stay at Granbury Gardens. Hosts were wonderful (we had them all to ourselves). Good conversationalists; very friendly. They put on a great breakfast. Enjoyed the outdoor fireplace. Room was great. Good bedside lighting for reading. Bathroom was roomy. Locaton was close to downtown. All-in-all, we'd stay here again on our next Granbury visit. Also ate at 1890 Steak House downtown. Recommended by Hosts and was very good.

The Granbury Gardens Bed and Breakfast was exceptional on all counts. Stan and Kay, the Innkeepers, were there to greet us and take care of all our needs. The location is a few short blocks from the town center. Stan was quick to tell us about the upcoming weekend activities to include the Granbury Texas Independent Day parade and festivities on March 2. The morning breakfast was thoughtfully prepared and served by Stan and Kay in their lovely dining room. Fortunately, we had the opportunity to go and stay at the Granbury Gardens Bed and Breakfast due to a Christmas gift certificate from our daughter and son-in-law. Again, a wonderful visit and lovely stay at this B&B.

We had wonderful stay at this B&B. We were welcomed from the minute we pulled up and saw our names on the sign out front greeting us. The owners, Stan and Kay, made us feel like family. The house is a beautiful historic home and the rooms were very comfortable. Everything we needed, from toiletries to fuzzy robes, was provided. The gardens out back are lovely and relaxing. There's an outdoor fireplace that Stan is happy to light for you. We chose to soak in the hot tub instead. They offer formal breakfast that you don't want to miss. Everything was made fresh and was delicious. We couldn't eat it all, but we wanted to. The room rates were very reasonable and it was much nicer than staying in a hotel. I would highly recommend it!

Stan and Kay were absolutely amazing innkeepers, very welcoming and so sweet! We stayed in the garden suite, and it was perfect. Private bathroom, with a view of the beautiful back yard. Literally a few blocks from the Square! We wanted to get away for the weekend and that's just what we did! Granbury Gardens is absolutely cozy and comfortable! A great place to stay! We WILL be visiting again! Stan and Kay made our 4-year anniversary celebration so memorable!

Stan & Kay are exceptionally attentive hosts. We have stayed in many B&B's none of which can hold a candle to the breakfasts served at Granbury Gardens.

My husband and I went to Granbury and stayed a night at Stan and Kay's. They greeted us upon arrival and made us feel right at home. We had the place to ourselves this night which made use of the outside fireplace and hot tub that much better. Beautiful night out and the room was cozy and bed comfortable. Homemade cookies and tea or coffee was always available in the main area and the breakfast we were served the next morning was outstanding! Even though Kay only had to cook for two of us, she put as much love and are into it as if the whole table were filled with guests. We loved hearing their stories as we at our breakfast. Wish we had more days to stay. Will definitely go back again!

My husband and I traveled with very dear friends of ours to Granbury on February 9, 2013. We had one of the nicest blessings at our one-night stay at the Granbury Gardens. Stan & Kay are the nicest most genuine folks I've ever met. We were blown away by the friendliness and attentiveness of this beautiful couple. After a full day of driving and touring local wineries, an hour in the hot tub sure was relaxing. By far, one of the best memories will forever be the remarkable culinary delights of Chef Kay! She prepared and Stan served a 4-course breakfast feast that will likely never be duplicated or enjoyed so much! I used to think of Bed and Breakfast as a nice place to sleep without really paying attention to the breakfast part. Chef Kay has raised the bar extremely high for the breakfast portion of B&B!! We can't wait to go back. --Michelle & Jim

I thank the Lord for His many blessings! I was treated to a free night's stay at the Granbury Gardens B&B and I would love to plan another trip. Stan and Kay made me feel so welcomed before I even entered the house. The night was peaceful and you're allowed to roam the house in the common areas in addition to your room. The food not only looked beautiful and was presented in a wonderful manner, but it tasted great as well! God has truly blessed the Granbury Gardens!

My boyfriend and I came to Granbury for one evening for a little get-away. Our destination was the Brazos Drive-In, but I wish we had built more time in to enjoy Stan and Kay's B&B. An evening by the outdoor fireplace sipping on a glass of wine is on my to-do list when I return. As is a dip in the outdoor hot tub while enjoying the ambience of the gardens in the back. The king-size bed was comfy. I am a stickler for clean and neat, and our accomodations did not disappoint. And the breakfast....outstanding! I have never had a 4-course breakfast before! It was amazing! My boyfriend could have written a poem about the perfection of the eggs benedict! Stan and Kay win you over with their attention to details and their warm hospitality.

We had such a wonderful time! The B&B was beautiful and very accommodating. Truly the best food I've eaten in a very long time! We will be back soon!

This was by far the best B&B I've stayed at! The service was wonderful, and upon arrival (early check in was requested and granted at no extra charge), we had a little history lesson on the hosue, which was fun! The gardens were perfect for our little quiet getaway, including a fire in the outdoor fireplace. There were Christmas lights and decorations up everywhere, and the breakfast was outstanding! We will be returning very soon!!

My sister in law and I had a mini vacation planned. The spa we were going to was in Granbury, TX. We got online looking for things to do here and came across a few bed and breakfast. When we seen this one we both fell in love with it and it was the best decision we made. Kay and Stan were amazing people sweet and curtious. The food was to die for and the house was gorgeous and the history and story informational. I hope to go back again some time. God bless Kay, Stan, and their B and B. To many more wonderful years.

My friend and I went down to Granbury for some girl time and to get away from the city. Stan and Kay met us upon arrival, and they were very hospitable, kind, and accommodating from the moment we arrived until our departure. I loved hearing details about the history of the beautiful home, and my friend and I had plenty of time reading outdoors to enjoy the beautiful gardens. The gazebo, fireplace, sounds of water, and butterflies truly made it so relaxing and peaceful. Wish we'd brought our swim suits so we could've enjoyed the hot tub. The room was spacious enough with a comfy bed and beautiful decor. Breakfast was terrific! They had a Keurig coffee machine to make your own coffee whenever you needed, and delicious oatmeal chocolate chip cookies were available when you needed a snack. I want to say again what a great job Stan & Kay did of making their guests feel welcomed. I've stayed at a few B&Bs before and have never before had the true sense of hospitality that this couple demonstrated. I know my friend and I both hope to return!

I've been to Granbury Gardens 3 times and each visit has been a delight. The house is charming, the Granbury Suite, where I always stay very private, the yard is lovely and relaxing, the owners, Stan and Kay wonderful and the food is presented beautifully and delicious. We love the hot tub in the back yard.! The house is just a couple of blocks from the town square too. I take each of my daughters for an overnight trip when they are 12 and have had an awesome time on every visit.

My daughter and I were looking for a quick get-away and decided upon Granbury and the Granbury Gardens B&B. We were so happy when we pulled into the beautiful grounds and were welcomed graciously by Stan and Kay. The house was decorated for Christmas, soft music playing, and it was all simply warm and cozy. We stayed in the Garden Suite which opened up to the lovely patio, fireplace, and hot tub area. The room was beautiful with nice linens, towels, and amenities. At night, after a long day of shopping, we came back to the B&B and enjoyed freshly baked cookies and sat by the fire outside to play cards. Stan had prepared the fire so all we had to do was light it! In the morning we joined the other guests for a gourmet breakfast that was out of this world! Stan and Kay did such a wonderful job preparing the table, cooking the food, presenting each course...we felt very special. The only thing we would have changed in our stay was to be there two nights instead of one! we would highly recommend this fantastic B&B to anyone visiting Granbury!

Overnight stay at Granbury Gardens Veterans Day week-end was a most enjoyable experience. My wife and I, along with old army buddy and his wife, had a great time sitting by the outdoor fireplace and enjoying this very clean and well kept gem. Great breakfast was the best ever and served by our host/hostess. Highly recommend Granbury Gardens. You won't be disappointed. (retired U.S. Army colonel)

My husband and I went to Granbury for a much-needed relaxing getaway and were very pleased with our stay at Granbury Gardens. Stan and Kay were our hosts and they were very warm and welcoming. The rooms are clean and comfy, the gardens behind the B&B are quiet and lovely, and the neighborhood is very close to downtown shops and restaurants. The real star of the weekend, though, was breakfast. Stan and Kay put on an unforgettable spread, with multiple courses. Each one was more delicious than the last. We ate around a large table with all the other guests and had 2 lovely mornings with simply marvelous food and good company. We loved the B&B and will definitely return.

Pleasant and attractive setting. Quiet retreat near lake and town square for shopping and great dining. Kay and Stan were marvelous hosts. They were attentive to us and the property. The breakfasts were timely and outstanding. The beds were nice. The garden atmosphere was peaceful and inviting. We had a fire in the garden fireplace one evening. Enjoyed the hot tub another. It made for an enjoyable midweek break with each other and a great place to meet up with our son and daughter-in-law for golf, shopping, great dining, and visiting. We would love to do it again!

Beautiful B & B experience. The home is located just three blocks from the downtown historic district and yet with the enclosed gardens makes you feel as if you're in the country.

We stayed in the smallest room and it was a little cramped for two. But the backyard patio, cleanliness of the entire house and proximity to the downtown square more than made up for tight quarters. Service and responsiveness to questions about the town were exceptional and the food was great. I will be staying here again on my next trip to Granbury.

This bed and breakfast sets the bar very high! You will compare all the rest to your stay here! If you doubt me, book a room. I travel every week and have been for the last 8 yrs. I always look forward to going to Granbury Texas.

My husband & I were wanting to have a weekend away at a bed & breakfast and Granbury Gardens fit the bill perfectly. The beds were comfortable, the outdoor beauty was so peaceful, as was our stay, and the breakfast was delicious. Plus, the town square of Granbury is such a short walk away - we had such a fun time walking around the city and had an excellent fine dining experience at Eighteen Ninety Grill, per the recommendation of Kay! We would recommend this to anyone. Such a wonderful stay.

The stay at Granbury Gardens was a pleasure, old homes have so much character! Much care has been put into details, and the hosts were accommodating to their elderly guest who enjoyed her stay and her breakfast very much. We enjoyed the beautiful patio area, and even in the heat could imagine ourselves sitting near the stone fireplace with a hot drink and a blanket. I look forward to the next visit - soon!

I stayed at the Granbury Gardens Bed and Breakfast on 24 and 25AUG12...best stay EVER! Stan and Kay are SO hospitable! They did everything in their power to ensure that I had a wonderful stay...and they suceeded! Every breakfast was a gourmet delight! I was not hungry again until at least 3 or 4 pm! They paid very close attention to detail...being military, that was important to me. The Garden Suite was fabulous! I was the only one there Friday, and did not hear the other guests that arrived on Saturday unless I wanted to. The B&B is so quiet and relaxing....large trees, bubbling water features, relaxing gazebo, hot tub, etc :) Stan, with his stories, and Kay's wonderful cooking, really made my weekend! I will definitely return, hopefully before the end of the year. I will be sure to spread the word to everyone I know! Thanks so much Stan and Kay for a fabulous, relaxing weekend!!!

My husband & I had such a perfect overnight visit to this charming bed & breakfast last weekend. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by both Stan & Kay and we could tell we had made the right decision in booking our stay there. We arrived too early for the usual check-in time and we asked if we could leave our vehicle on the premises while we visited the downtown area (a short walk) and waited for the normal check-in time. Kay generously said we could check in early because our room (Archer Room - we loved it) was ready. The ambiance of the house, the Wasielewski's hospitality, and the delicious breakfast the following morning are three reasons why we would choose Granbury Gardens B&B again! Grandbury Gardens B & B was an awesome experience for us. We were greeted at the door by the owners and welcomed into their B & B. Stan & Kay were wonderful! The rocking chairs on the front porch caught my eye as we entered the front door. Once inside, it was a very relaxing and beautifully decorated B & B. Kay had homemade cookies ready for everyone. They were delicious! We were still "sneaking" a cookie at 10:30 pm!!! Breakfast was at 9:00am. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! First we had coffee & juices, then a compote of yogurt and fruit with granola, then a chocolate chip muffin with hot drizzled icing on top, then the main course was individual egg/cheese souffles with herb roasted potatoes and a slice of ham. And last but not least, was a raspberry sorbet.!! We will definitely be returning to this B & B!!!

My fiance and I have stayed at several bed and breakfast style rooms all over the world, and we found that this was our favorite of the ones that we have visited in the States. The breakfast was fantastic, and the owners were very receptive. Instead of the usual not-very-exciting continental breakfast that is always a little socially awkward because no one really knows what to say to each other, the breakfast here was a great gourmet breakfast, and we all (all the guests) sat around a circular table, while the owners served us breakfast. The first round was fresh fruit and a sweetbread, followed by the main course, and the last round was a light dessert. The breakfast was different each morning (we stayed for two nights), which made breakfast even more exciting. There was coffee available for those who drink coffee, with a full array of condiments for the coffee. They had a small refrigerator that had various drinks (water, soda, etc) that were free for the guests, which was much appreciated, especially because it was so hot outside (we stayed in late July). The owners were also knowledgeable about what food was really good in the area, so if you don't know where to eat, you should ask the owners. They even gave us a coupon for one of the restaurants we ate at.

Our hosts couldn't have been nicer. They treated us as old friends, and were most accommodating to my husband's health issues. We loved the home, the hot tub, and the neighborhood. It wasn't so much staying at a bed and breakfast as it was staying with friends. We will definitely come back!

My husband and I just stayed at Granbury Gardens for one night this weekend, to celebrate his birthday. What a wonderful, cozy, romantic, and amazing B&B this is. We were greeted at the door by Stan and Kay with warm southern hospitality. They showed us around, then let us start embarking on our stay. We stayed in the Archer room, which was very enviting yet alone cozy. The jacuzzi tub in the bathroom was an added bonus. Also, the room and the entire house was very clean as I never saw a speck of dust anywhere. We loved sitting in the back gardens with our tea in the evening, and our coffee in the morning. I think my favorite part was the breakfast, oh how delicious it was. Three courses of delight in my stomach is what breakfast was. Stan and Kay are so friendly! We can't wait to stay at Granbury Gardens again in the future. - Anne & Brian

We were not disappointed from the time we arrived until it was time for us to say goodbye. Stan and Kay were very hospitable and made us feel like family during our two night stay in their home. The room was lovely, the food excellent, the conversation great. Our room had direct access to the garden area and that in itself was special. It was delightful to sit outside in the evenings and listen to the water fountains. More like peaceful I would say. Plenty to do in Granbury downtown, especially in the Square. It was a wonderful time and we both enjoyed it TOGETHER.

My girlfriend and I stayed here in the middle of the week, so it was quiet and we were the only ones there the first day. It's within walking distance of the town square. The yard is wonderful with little nooks to sit in. Stan and Kay are very nice innkeepers who love to make breakfast for you and give you great ideas on what to see in the area.

Stan and Kay are wonderful and gracious hosts! The backyard is a garden oasis. Spent much time reading by the fireplace just soaking up the ambience and beauty. Our room was very nice. Only issue is that we could hear guests visiting outside late in the evening. Great place to stay!

I am not sure what I enjoyed the most - the tranquil gardens, the oh so comfortable bed, the yummie breakfast or the wonderful inkeepers. I really hated to go back to reality when it was time to head home. Stan and Kay make you feel like family visiting in their home; they are warm and personable. I will definitely come back!

We just spent two nights here (5/04 and 5/05). This was our third or fourth stay and it was for our anniversary. We spend our anniversary here last year. It just doesn't get any better that Granbury Gardens. As Stan will tell you, you are their guests on the first visit and their friends on the second visit. They are definitly our friends. They are two of the most delightful people we have had the pleasure of meeting. The home is absultely charming and spotless. The food is to die for. We always look forward to our visits and seeing our friends Stan and Kay. It is a great place to go to just relax. Keep up the good work. We will see you in December for the Christmas tour. This is the perfect B&B for a weekend escape. Just a couple of blocks away from Granbury Square, it has a fantastic garden area for reading or enjoying coffee. The owners are so hospitable and the breakfast is fantastic! I would highly recommend Granbury Gardens!

Our stay at Granbury Gardens could not have been better. Our hosts were very warm and welcoming. We have stayed in many B&Bs and love all the extra touches. Those extras were ALL combined in this lovely home. The breakfasts were really outstanding- never needed lunch! This certainly will be our B&B of choice when we return to Granbury. Thank you from Seattle!

Granbury Gardens is the best Bed and Breakfast I have ever been to. It is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. Stan and Kay are very kind and make you feel so welcomed in their beautiful home. The breakfast was delicious and the best I have ever had also. I hope to be able to stay their again!

We had a fantastic time, felt immediately welcome, and plan to come back. Stan and Kay are lovely hosts (and Kay is an amazing cook). Their backyard garden is so peaceful, and the room (the Granbury Suite) was excellent. I strongly suggest Granbury Gardens B&B.

My friend and I had a wonderful time at Kay & Stan's Granbury Gardens. They were both very welcoming and their place is so lovely. I stayed in the Garden Suite and was able to step out in the gardens from my room. My friend stayed in the Doyle room overlooking the street and beautiful front porch garden area. Both breakfasts were wonderful and so huge! We didn't even eat lunch on the first day. We walked the short 2 blocks to the historic square for our shopping expeditions. I would stay here again. We stayed here for a couple of nights, as a quiet getaway after our wedding. It was a wonderful visit. Stan and Kay couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. They provide not just recommendations for places to eat and visit, but also discounts, guaranteed reservations, etc., to those places. They also went out of their way to provide for all of our little needs, and they just create a perfectly charming atmosphere in which all of the guests feel welcome. Plus, the food was absolutely outstanding. They really know what they're doing, and we will be back.

Stan and Kay are wonderfully charming and caring hosts. This was my first BnB stay and the Wasielewskis have set a high bar, for comfort, attention to detail, peace, quiet, and pampering. The claw-foot tub int he Garden suite was a wonderful respite after a few weeks of work craziness and they breakfast spread before us rivaled that of a 4-star restaurant. I am so glad that Stan and Kay decided to pursue Kay's dream and offer us a romantic and peaceful getaway. I can't wait to come baci!

We have stayed at many B& B's in Granbury. This is our favorite. We have celebrated our anniversary there for the pass 5 yearsand tell everyone we know how great it is. The food is fabulous- Warm innkeepers willing to help in any way possible. Very convenient loction a couple of blocks from the historic square. You''ll be hookedif you stay there once.

When we first checked in and met Stan, he asked had we stayed in B&Bs before. We have. He made the statement that they would have to meet the bar set by others. To say the least, he and Kay achieved that goal. Their hospitality was outstanding and made us feel as welcome as if we were in our own home. The breakfasts were delicious, especially Kay's eggs on a cloud. We definitely plan to be back for more. - Wes and Billie

We hadn't been to a B&B in a while and decided to spend two nights at Granbury Gardens with Kay and Stan. Our cozy little room opened out on to the backyard which included a hot tub; and Stan had started a nice fire for the evening, a pleasant extra surprise. We had a great time and especially enjoyed Kay's incredible breakfasts...really delicious but almost too pretty to eat. Because of their location, we were able to walk to the town square where we enjoyed a nice dinner outside one evening and had some great coffee the next day. The convenience was an added bonus to a wonderful weekend. Scotty from Richardson

My husband and I stayed here in celebration of our first anniversary - in the Garden Suite. The home is charming, well appointed, clean and comfortable. It is apparent that Stan and Kay really enjoy hosting others here and they work hard to make sure every guest feels "at home" during their stay! They catered to our every need and entertained us with their genuine affable style. And, breakfast WAS amazing! Thank you Stan & Kay! ~Kyle & Mary

This was a great B & B. The Innkeepers were very nice and the breakfast was wonderful. The husband may have overdone the humor about his wife being the executive chef and boss which got a little old and uncomfortable, but overall it was great. I plan on going back and soon as I can.

From the initial greeting to the departure, it was wonderful. I stay a lot at B&B's but this ranked #1 in my book. The owners are on property. The bed was very comfortable. The gardens were expansive and had beautiful private sitting areas, with waterfountains throughout. Home-made snacks and drinks were available 24 hrs. Each room is beautifully decorated and unique. The breakfast itself was worth the trip. Will definitely go back.

My wife and I were looking for a short getaway, and I found the Granbury Gardens (very apropos) on BedandBreakfast.com. Granbury Gardens caught my interests right away, the rooms, the menu, the jaccuzi tubs, the outdoor hot tub, the gardens, the christian enviroment. Let me say the pictures and explanations just dont do Kay and Stan's place justice. We were greeted by a sign on the front porch welcoming us. Kay was warm, friendly, and personable from the start. We were just enthralled as she gave us the history of the home, and how she and Stan came to be the owners. All fascinating when you see how well maintained and clean this 100 year old home is maintained. We walked and talked and truly enjoyed the history and quaint shops downtown. We turned in early, enjoyed the in room jaccuzi, piled up in the king size bed with the complimentary robes, and read ourselves to sleep. We stayed in the Doyle room and the natural light was fantastic to wake up to. Of course the smell of coffee, or tea in my wife's case, and hints of the scrumptous breakfast soon to come. We took time to sit in the dining room and chat with Stan and Kay as they were busy with breakfast preparations. Even if you aren't a pet lover you will love the "Bostahoolahoola" Angel. We invited her to sit with us on the beautiful setee and she was just adorable. Don't worry she is completely unobtrusive, but a real thief. She stole our hearts! Breakfast was out of this world, a four or five course smorgasborg of fresh fruit, fluffy eggs in a cloud, muffins from heaven, and topped off with an island sorbetto.......you have to ask Stan for the secret. Ha! We sat in the garden and soaked up the wonderful sun before saying our sad goodbyes. We are already planning to take family members to go with us and experience the extravagant pampering of Stan, Kay, and Angel in the Granbury Gardens. The best value you will find anywhere, I guarantee it!

Thanks for another great stay!

Granbury Gardens was perfect for our annual "Girl's Weekend." We were able to have the whole place to ourselves! The bedrooms all had private bathrooms and were beautiful and the the beds were extremely comfortable. Stan & Kay were gracious and helpful hosts. The four course breakfasts were outstanding ~ the best I have ever had at a B&B. And breakfast was served at 9am. Perfect for a leisurely stay. The house is within walking distance of the square and several restaurants. The shops on the square are darling and provided great shopping! We also visited a winery about 15 miles out of town & enjoyed that very much. All in all, a great place to stay and a fun town to visit.

The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. The back yard is a sanctuary of peace with running water falls and sculptures, gazebo, fireplace, and hot tub. Best of all the breakfasts are four course sit-down served affairs....casual and friendly and most of all amazingly delicious. The owners serve and cook, describing the dishes as they are served. This was the best weekend experience ever. You will not be disappointed. We left feeling like we have made new friends with both the other guests and the owners.

We spend a lovely Sat. night at the Grandbury Gardens Bed and Breakfast. The original 100 year old floors in the main part of the house were beautifully maintained. From the time we entered -- the little sign at the entrance read "Welcome, Michael and Karen" -- to the time we left, we felt like more than guests. We stayed in the Granbury Suite -- very pretty room, and the bed can be split into two singles (though just a warning, it is a long way to the floor!). And the breakfast was almost too pretty to eat (but I'm glad we did!). Probably the nicest time of all was the night we checked in, where we sat under the gazebo and sipped some wine from a local vineyard. We had the evening to ourselves, and it felt like we were the only ones around. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a perfect time for us to get away and relax at a wonderful house. Since we were the only ones there we got the royal treatment from Stan and Kay, but they seem the type that are like that for 2 people, or 10 people. Stan helped plan our days and Kay helped fill our tanks with some incredible breakfasts, and excellent late night cookies. We would definitely stay again!

Great, quiet neighborhood near the lake. My husband and I walked to dinner and had ice cream on the square, only blocks away. We never boarded the trolley but there is one that passes every hour or so and stops at the front steps. This B&B is beautiful inside and out. After a marvelous breakfast, we had coffee in the garden. So peaceful and quiet. We left knowing that we will return to Granbury Gardens, perhaps catch a movie at the drive in theater.

Our entire family took over Granbury Gardens for the Fourth of July weekend. Kay and Stan, the inkeepers, were wonderful hosts and when asked, gave us tips on what to do, where to eat and even found us a great place to view the fireworks! You will find the Gardens within walking distance of the downtown shopping area. The breakfasts are superb and are a gourmet delight for foodies. The garden was a favorite gathering place. With the summer heat, the water feature provided an oasis of comfort. There is ample garden seating plus a charming gazebo with fan. In the dining room, there is a huge round table that easily seats ten. Breakfasts are served in courses which are leisurely and elegant. The food is superb!!!!!!!!! (In the evening we used the large table for board games.) Each room was quiet, charming and carefully decorated (and spotless)! If you are blessed enough to get a reservation here, be prepared to be welcomed, pampered, entertained and well fed! Sandra from San Antonio

We love Granbury and our previous favorite b & b closed down. We were very happy to find a new favorite with Kay & Stan. They extended to us an exceptional level of hospitality. We requested a gluten-free breakfast, which they easily and happily accomodated. We stayed in the Granbury Suite; the king bed was really comfortable. Our only regrets were only being able to stay the one night and that we came in late August when it was too hot to really appreciate the back patio, gazebo and garden and the short walk to the square. We will definitely be back in better weather.

What an incredible stay. We came for an annual family reunion that we move from location-to-location throughout Texas, and this was the best one yet. Stan and Kay were fabulous hosts and took care of us better than our expectations. Breakfast was different every day, and was better than any gourmet restaurant we have ever experienced. We came as strangers, but left as friends. Can't wait to go back!

The Inn was just perfect for our group of 4 friends. The rooms were lovely with a lot of attention to detail. My favorite "room" was the garden - even in 100 degree heat it was so nice to sit out in the beauty. Breakfast was just outstanding - delicious food in such a nice setting. But the best part was the hosting couple, Stan and Kay. We came as strangers and left as friends.

We are four Christian friends who live in different areas of Texas and we chose Granbury as a place to meet and spend quality time together. Granbury Gardens Bed and Breakfast exceeded our expectations and we spent the majority of our time there. Upon being greeted by Kan and Stan we were given a tour of the B&B and the gardens and learned a little of the history of the Inn. We settled into our rooms and began enjoying this special time and place. Snacks, consisting of delicious homemade cookies, chips, and cold drinks or coffee were available for guests. The parlor was a very comfortable and cozy area to visit as well as the garden area outdoors where we enjoyed the gazebo later in the evening. The B&B is beautifully decorated and the gardens are well designed for relaxation and enjoyment. Granbury town square is not far and we enjoyed a walk around the square both before going to the B &B and again as we were leaving Granbury. We felt like special guests and were made to feel welcome. Kay and Stan pamper their guests by providing a beautiful place, providing delicious available snacks and allowing privacy to their guests to enjoy special time together. The special “reward” for selecting this particular B&B was the amazing four course gourmet breakfast. I can’t describe it, because it would ruin the surprise to new guests. We four friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Granbury Gardens B&B and look forward to a return visit. We thank you for making Granbury Gardens B&B so special.

We were so impressed with our stay at Granbury Gardens. From the moment we drove up and saw the personalized welcome sign out front, we knew we were gonna have a great stay. Stan and Kay met us and greeted us as we were family and that feeling prevailed during the entire weekend. The rooms and grounds were beautiful. The Wasielewski's have done an awesome job of combining the charm and character of the 100 year old Doyle-Archer house with all the modern improvements needed to be comfortable, without ever sacrificing the look and feel of this beautiful house. Actually, the way Stan and Kay pamper you, it seems wrong to call it a house. They have truly opened their "Home" with you and you forget the fact that you are a customer of theirs. They make you feel like family. There is just one more thing to add about Granbury Gardens... Kay is a master chef. You will find it very hard to find a restaurant in the Granbury area that comes up to the quality of the wonderful breakfast she prepares for you each morning. The only way that they could improve anything, it would be for Kay to prepare Lunch and Dinner for all her guests. Ohhh, and her home made muffins and cookies are a must!! Thank you Stan and Kay for a wonderful relaxing weekend, we can't wait to come back for a return visit!! Ron and Dee Gibson

Stan and Kay are absolutely THE nicest Christian people we have stayed with yet at a B&B. The 100 year old home was incredibly clean, quiet and peaceful, yet very cozy. The outside garden area is serene, with a little waterfall in the backyard. Their little dog, Angel, welcomed us into their home. From a living experience, we basically had the whole downstairs to ourselves, as our hosts lived upstairs. We could come and go whenever we wanted to, with the only curfew requirement that we be back by 9AM for an out-of-this-world breakfast. Coffee was available by 7:30AM. Snacks and water were generously provided for us free of charge - something that few B&B's offer on a regular basis. In the morning, we woke up to the most unbelievably fabulous 3-course breakfast that was served to us promptly at 9AM. It was a nicely balanced combination of fruit, juice, eggs, french toast, and bacon - all done in an incredibly elegant display, and superbly delicious. Kay clearly outdid herself on breakfast - absolutely fabulous! Our deepest thanks to Stan and Kay for sharing a little piece of their daily living with us. If you haven't tried Granbury Gardens, then you haven't truly experienced the best B&B on the planet. Go ahead and book your next trip there - you won't regret it!

The atmosphere at Granbury Gardens was warm and friendly. The decor was a good mix of vintage and modern, I didn't feel overwhelmed by flowers and doilies. The inn keepers were very nice, breakfast was AMAZING and much more than I expected. It was on a quiet street and the parking was easy. The only reccomendation I would make is that they change the shower head in our bathroom, it provided a light mist. Also, the bed creeked very loudly when you rolled over or got out of bed. But it was comfy and clean!

Our stay at the Granbury Gardens was one of the most enjoyable we have had anywhere in years! Hosts Kay and Stan are very friendly and quickly made us feel at home. They have anticipated every possible need of their guests and make sure there is nothing left to be desired. Our room - the Garden Suite - was delightfully decorated and included a spacious bathroom with both a claw-foot tub and separate shower stall. Everything was spotless and very inviting. From what we could observe of the other rooms, they are all of equal quality. Some bathrooms even have Jacuzzi tubs, as well. Just outside the room (with private access from the room) is a beautiful garden featuring a fountain, a gazebo, an outside fireplace and seating area, a hot tub and a trickling stream complete with fish. It is a most inviting spot to just stop and rest awhile, or catch up on your reading or e-mail, or sit and sip a glass of your favorite beverage and listen to the birds. The breakfasts are truly gourmet and served in a manner that rivals any high scale restaurant - only more intimate and inviting. Kay has appropriate serving pieces for every course and a real talent for cooking! The huge round dining table that is the focus of the living/dining room areas is beautiful and encourages and accommodates conversation among guests. I cannot recommend this bed and breakfast highly enough. It is a real must for anyone interested in spending a relaxing and refreshing night - or several - while enjoying the Granbury area!! Tell them Gary and Debbie sent you!

Me and my wife stayed at Granbury gardens and it exceeded our expectations. The place is very nice and well kept and the Innkeepers are super nice people. We did some sight seeing around Granbury, went out to eat and then went back to the house and slept in the super comfy bed. When we woke up the next morning there was fresh coffee and a excellent breakfast ready for us. I would definitely stay with these people again!

Loved every minute of it, from the time we drove up and saw a sign in front with our name on it welcoming us there, until the good bye hugs we received as we left.It was wonderful. My husband had just had his second bladder cancer surgery and will begin his second round of chemo next week.We desperately needed a chance to step back and regroup .Granbury Gardens and the Wasielewski`s provided this for us..

The highlight of my trip to Granbury was Granbury Gardens Bed and Breakfast. Comfortable room and private bath with every detail including fresh flowers, alarm clock, magnifying mirror, movies, cookies, etc. The back yard is an oasis with gazebo, waterfall, hot tub, deck, etc. The owners are delightful people and interesting to visit with. And the breakfast! Wow! Fabulous food - several courses for breakfast - and even candlelight. It was located just a block or two off Granbury's square full of wonderful shops. The lake runs through the town. Only about a half hour or less to Ft.Worth if so inclined, but I was happy to stay in Granbury. All in all, a relaxing and renewing weekend. I will be back.

We had never stayed at a bed and breakfast. It was a most enjoyable stay and would definitely do it again. Stan and Kay are amazing! It was cleaner than any hotel I've stayed out.

We spent our anniversary at the Inn. We were pleasantly surprised at the wonderful hospitality of our innkeepers and the delicious Mothers Day breakfast they made for us. The location was an easy walk to the historic town of Granbury, but far enough away to be quiet and cozy. We will visit Granbury Gardens B&B again!

100 year old 4-bedroom house (with updates and amenities in the right places) plus a very engaged owner/operator couple (Kay and Stan) offers just about everything one could ask for in a B&B experience. Very clean. Breakfast was incredible both mornings! Backyard gardens/gazebo/water features made morning coffee a real treat (ask for the room with a door leading straight to the garden area).

What a delightful weekend we just spent in Granbury at the Granbury Gardens. We have stayed at many b& b's and this is now one of my favorites. The breakfast both days was absolutely delicious and not your ordinary bacon and eggs. Every dish, from the juice to the surprise endings, was a treat. The hosts were very gracious and helpful with suggestions of where to eat and what to do in the area. Will recommend this b& b to all my friends and family and hope to come back some day!

This was such a restful and peaceful stop in the middle of a hectic season of life. From the lovely accomodations, the gourmet breakfast and the warmth and hospitality from Stan and Kay, this exceeded our expectations in every way. We look forward to returning and we've also found a great gift to give someone we love who needs an oasis.

The Doyle House is a beautiful 1911 home. It brought back many memories of our childhood including the beautiful (but somewhat noisy) hardwood floor and the nostalgic furnishings. We felt like we had stepped back into time. Stan and Kay were so warm and friendly that we felt like they were some old friends; we quickly felt at home. The house is about 4 blocks from the downtown square which made a very pleasant walk for us. We spent our mornings and evenings sitting on the front porch rocking and watching the neighbors and neighborhood. The gourmet breakfast that Kay and Stan provided was very good. We were looking for a serene place to spend our 33rd Anniversary and this place was perfect!

Our stay at Granbury Gardens was such a wonderful experience. Our room was beautifully appointed & very comfortable. Just a few blocks off the historic Granbury Square made it so convenient for walking to restaurants & shopping. The gourmet breakfast was delicious. We hope to make our stay an annual event.

We were there for just one night and flet that the service was outstanding. The room was on the warm side and noisy ( close to the front room and room next to us used bathroom across the hall). But that said everything else was outstanding and would reccomend this sweet place.

Wow! My husband and I have been married 50 years. This was our 1st B & B. We want to go back to Granbury and stay right here. Best sleep we had in over 30 days...having our house renovated. Best breakfast and Stan and Kay are phenomenal hosts. Everything was excellent!

This was our second, but not last, stay at Granbury Gardens. Everything was perfect. We would highly recommend it to any visiting the Granbury area.
5 on April 28, 2011
We have stayed at several B & B's over the past few years. We wanted to take two of our friends who had never been to a B & B. I chose Granbury Gardens because the pictures online looked beautiful, and also because of the hot tub in the garden. Our stay could not have been any better! The inn itself was wonderful. The rooms were beautifully decorated and spacious. The garden was heavenly, with luscious landscaping and a relaxing hot tub to take all your cares away. Stan and Kay were the perfect hosts. We were greeted warmly with a tour of the inn, which included history and facts about the Doyle family and the house itself. We were never without warm "prize winning" cookies and other snacks. Even though everything was perfect about the stay, nothing can compare with the fabulous breakfast we had! Oh my! We were still talking about it a week after we left. This was our first visit to Granbury Gardens, but we will definitely go back...many times!

My husband and I stayed at Granbury Gardens on Easter weekend. We stayed in the Doyle room.Everything was exceptional from the warm welcome from Kay and Stan to the 100 year-old beauty of the home. The 3-course breakfast was amazing and so beautiful!!! One of our favorite things and most meaningful, was when we arrived and saw our names on a sign by the front door welcoming us. We can't wait to go back and we feel like we found a home away from home.

Mom and I visit a Texas B&B every spring and this year it was Granbury Gardens. Stan and Kay make everything so nice and comfortable. The breakfasts are outstanding! The roses are beautiful and the front porch a lovely place to relax.
5 on April 24, 2011
My wife and I recently spent an evening at Granbury Gardens B&B. The house is lovely and the service outstanding. We highly recommend it. We stayed in the garden room which opened up to a garden that takes up the entire backyard, complete with fountains, a gazebo (and hot tub!). We were in walking distance from the town square (which was good since there's plenty of calories available at the local restaurants). If everything else was just ok, and the only upside was meeting Stan and Cay, it would've been worth it. They're delightful, thoughtful, and just darn good at hospitality.
5 on April 24, 2011
The B&B owners were delightful and helped us find places to see and places to dine. They were very hospitable and lovely people and the breakfasts were too much but beautifully presented and oh so good. The grounds were so cute and they had beautiful flowers, well done. Even though I was there with my daughter and we needed a twin bedroom, I would like to go back and stay in the garden room which has access to the back garden with a claw footed bathtub. Wonderful time in Granbury and at the Granbury Gardens B&B. Thank you Kay and Stan.

Granbury Gardens B&B is located off a main street which gave me an opportunity to get a quiet and good nights sleep. Woke up to a breakfast fit for a queen. Kay is a wonderful cook and serves elegant breakfasts which are so different from home and eggs with toast. Would love to have all her recipes. You will not be disappointed in this B&B.

Granbury Gardens was the perfect find for our one night getaway to Granbury! Stan and Kay were absolutely delightful hosts and this B & B is a true gem. We really enjoyed that we could park the car upon arriving and not have to get back in the car until it was time to head home the next day. This B & B is only a few blocks from the square on a very quiet street. We especially enjoyed the beautiful backyard gardens and relaxing in the hot tub and in our beautiful cozy room with its own private bath. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and we had fun meeting new faces around the table! It was the perfect place to reconnect and relax. We hope to be able to come back again soon.

Stan & Kay greeted us with a warm welcome and gave us a tour of their beautiful grounds. We had been to Granbury Gardens before, when the previous owners ran it, so we were hoping that this trip would be as special as the last. The gourmet breakfast was delicious and their hospitality was top notch. Stan & Kay are wonderful Innkeepers, and we will definitely be back.

Stan and Kay Wasieleski have a really good thing going in the quaint, historic district of Granbury, Texas. The service they offer is exceptional from the fresh flowers in our rooms to the gourmet breakfast. The garden is lovely and peaceful morning and evening and in between! I particularly enjoyed sitting around the fire in the outdoor fireplace in the evenings. Our rooms were very comfortable and tastefully furnished. Overall, we would give a 5 star review to anyone seeking a homey atmosphere in great surroundings with accomplished hosts!

Kay and Stan, owners, are a very gracious and delightful couple who made our stay at Granbury Gardens B&B very special. My daughter and I needed a peaceful, slow, relaxing weekend and we had it! Our room was very comfortable (including the bed and bath), breakfast was served like a three/four course meal and was delicious (varied and beautiful place settings each morning), and the back yard was a lovely garden with a fireplace, fountain and gazebo (plenty of room for all guests to have their own little area). We really felt pampered! Thank you, Kay and Stan! -Jan

We had such a nice time at the Granbury Gardens Bed and Breakfast. We enjoyed everything from the minute we arrived and met Stan until we left the following morning after the incredible breakfast that Kay prepared. These are truly wonderful people and we will be visiting again this summer.

We arrived seeing our names written on a board which showed us right of the bat that this place cared about their guests. The inn keepers ready to greet us with a smile and a warm welcome. They showed us around and we were pleased with the perfect room and beautiful gardens. The room was just the perfect size for us. It was decorated so nicely and even though the home was old, it did not have that "old" smell that you get sometimes get. I loved the little details, like chocolates at bedside and popcorn with a great DVD selection. Of course, we enjoyed our evening out in the backyard gardens with the fireplace. In the parlor, we were told by the inn keepers at our arrival of cookies and pastries she made and to help ourselves anytime (as the downstairs belonged to the guests), so we ate cookies and pastries with such delight that we had to hold ourselves back from not eating all of them. We slept soundly in our cozy bed and awoke to wonderful smells of what was going to be a great breakfast. We sat down to a large dinner table with the other guests as the inn keepers served us a feast. Eggs, bacon, cinnamon rolls, and much more. The inn keepers' stories made you feel at home and seemed happy that you were there. We will return back when we need a relaxing place to re-charge the old batteries and fuel up on some wonderful hospitality.

We were greeted warmly upon arrival, shown the inn and where to get any items we might need duing our stay. The rooms were beautiful, the hot tub, outdoor fireplace and garden created a perfect atmosphere to celebrate our Anniversay. The breakfast was outstanding and Stan and Kay were very personable. We will definately return.

Stan and Kay accommodated us over Valentine's weekend, making our reservation Saturday for an arrival on Sunday. B&B.com had been offering a discount for Valentine's weekend stays, but it wasn't allowing me to book the discount just one day before the stay. Kay graciously extended the same discount to me over the phone after I explained the problem I was having with B&B.com's website. Upon arriving, we found Stan and Kay's home welcoming, peaceful, clean, and cozy. They greeted us warmly, and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed reading by the fire in the garden out back, soaking in the hot tub, joining other guests in singing hymns under the starry sky, and then cuddled up to a movie picked from Stan and Kay's collection of DVDs. Before bed, we made one more stop past the cookies and chocolates that Stan and Kay leave in the dining room at all times :) The next morning was the highlight for my wife; waking up to the aromas of a delicious breakfast being prepared. We sipped coffee and enjoyed conversation with Stan and Kay and the other guests as we dined on a delicious special creation of Kay's during the amazing 4 course breakfast. What a great get away! Stan and Kay are not just innkeepers, they are clearly blessed with the gift of hospitality and minister to each one of their guests in a truly caring way. You won't be disappointed! Thanks Stan and Kay!

This is a very relaxing B&B with wonderful, gracious innkeepers! The outside fireplace and hot tub were the perfect relaxation we were seeking. The breakfast was wonderful and plentiful. The location is perfect, being just a few blocks from the historic downtown. We highly recommend Grandbury Gardens for a getaway! Stan & Kay will treat you right!

So when My 23rd weddding anniversary came around there was no hesitation as to where I was going to take my wife. when we arrived they had a welcome board outside with our name on it, and in the room we were greeted with a happy Anv. card signed by both Stan and Kay. They did everything prefect to make it a romantic weekend which scored me some major Points!! it was a perfect 10 all the way. Thank you Stand and Kay for another great experience.

Stan & Kay were excellent hosts for our overnight stay at Granbury Gardens. All of the extras and the fresh baked cookies made us sneak back for seconds. The breakfast was one of the best we've had. I want to go back to visit their gardens when it is springtime! We stayed in the Doyle Room which was small so I would try one of the larger rooms next visit.

Oh my gosh! The breakfasts were amazing! Elegantly set table, delicious three-course breakfast. Not to mention the delicious fresh baked cookies each day. You wont go away hungry here! Our room was very cute and very clean. Our attached bathroom had a jetted tub. ( I think they all do) This was the first time we stayed in a B&B where all the rooms had guests. So... something we did notice is, this charming old house has thin walls! The jetted tubs were a hit this Valentines Day week end! The garden area was charming, with a bubbling water fountain. It also has a hot tub. Very relaxing atmosphere. Overall, we had a great stay and Stan and Kay were gracious hosts; very sweet and laid-back people.

This was our first time at a BB and the stay was perfect. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and this stay made our weekend. The staff was excellent and the food was even better. Could not have asked for more. We loved the way the house was a 100 year old home, but had modern amenities to make our stay great. I would definitely recommend this place and will being coming back for sure.

My boyfriend and I had simply been looking for a quiet place to rest and be lazy.. We found it! Quiet, peaceful, comfortable, clean, with friendly and knowledgable Inn Keepers. Our favorite things.. 1. Stan and Kay's stories over breakfast.. Almost everything in the house has an interesting history! 2. BREAKFAST.. These two can COOK! 3. Our room (the Garden Suite) had a mattress we both considered comfortable, which never happens! The bathroom was stocked with lots of toiletries to enjoy, and we had our own door going out to the garden. 4. The garden.. Beautifully landscaped! Being able to sit in a hot tub allowed us to enjoy the view even when it was COLD outside. 5. The town itself was peaceful and had lots of different restaurants to eat at (Buffalo Gap!!). We were so happy with how our trip turned out, we have decided to head up to Granbury Gardens B&B every year to recover from the Holidays!
4.6 on January 19, 2011
My girlfriend and I wanted a quick little one-day getaway to recharge our batteries before school started back up. Stan and Kay were absolutely wonderful and there B&B was the perfect answer to our needs. Rooms were lovely, clean, and most importantly, unique (this makes your stay feel special and cozy; its not just a plain-jane room). Stan and Kay were delightful to visit with and were very informative about the surrounding attractions. The hot tub was a huge hit (we dove in to relax the second we arrived!). This is not an expensive B&B and has good value. I selected "met my expectations" on the review because it is not 'over priced,' but rather sits on par with what one would pay at any other B&B. That being said, if i had to spend the same dollar amount anywhere I went, I would stay at Granbury Gardens. Guarantee to get your money's worth, best bang-for-your-buck, etc. Don't even get me started about the gourmet breakfast... Kay should have her own cooking show (although Stan claimed to have taught her everything she knows). The worst part about our stay was the 3 pounds I probably gained from the breakfast and delicious chocolate chip cookies that are there to greet you upon your arrival (along with a mini-fridge stocked with beverages). Our stay accomplished everything it was supposed to, and more. Home away from home; very cozy. Thanks again Stan and Kay, William (Blair) and Amy

I booked Granbury Gardens hoping that it would be a quiet New Years getaway and it was!! I proposed to my fiancée' in the Garden Suite. It was a fantastic venue for a special, private moment between the two of us. The accommodation was comfortable and inviting. With it's close proximity to the square, we were able to park and walk to shopping and dining. After an evening out, we returned to a warming fire in the garden where we enjoyed our first evening together as an engaged couple. We met some fantastic guests and enjoyed wonderful conversation during a fabulous breakfast the next morning. Thank you, Stan & Kay, for the special moment.

The visit to Granbury Gardens and Breakfast was the most relaxing and de- stressing time. Not only were Stan and Kay exceptional , the house, outside gardens, most delicious gourmet breakfasts and rooms were too. This was just the answer that we needed for a much deserved break. I would recommend Granbury Gardens Bed and Breakfast to anyone wanting to relax. Also, it is close to the town square for visiting some of the unique shops. It is a charming little town and so close to the bigger cities that it is a superb little getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

What an amazing place. Our company scheduled a retreat in Grandbury for 1 night and we spread out among many of the B & B's in town. Several of us went down a day early to take advantage of the shopping. This was our first B&B stay and my husband and I found it to be wonderful. We were greeted upon our arrival Friday evening and Kay & Stan gave us a full tour and history of their home. It takes only one glance to know they do everything 100% with love and passion for their Inn. There were fresh cookies and refreshments available at all times. We had no idea the treat we were in for at breakfast!!! Wow!!! Is an understatement. There was more food than you could ever eat yet you wanted to taste everything. We enjoyed many hours relaxing on the front porch in the rocking chairs and in the back yard around the fire. Overall I had an amazing weekend and felt so welcomed in the home. They truly go above and beyond for their guests. I have high hopes of returning and will encourage my friends to make the trip as well. - Lori & Robert Fisher- Whitney, Texas

I have stayed in more B&B's than I can remember, but the breakfast served in this one was, on a scale of 1-10, a 10! Outstanding! And beautifully presented. The backyard is a dream. We spent a good deal of time just sitting in the sunshine or hot tub. Another perk- we could walk to the square & restaurants. The room was small, but the yard and friendliness of the hosts more than made up for it. They also have a dog, Angel, and she is just that. So if you need your doggie fix, this is the place.

We had a wonderful time at Grandbury Gardens. The room was clean and comfortable. We spent the afternoon with friends in the backyard which was so nice and pleasant with the waterfalls in the background, birds chirping, and a squirrel fussing at us. The breakfast was by far the best we have ever had at a B&B. It was way past our expectations and very, very delicious and the presentation of food was outstanding. We will be back in the spring!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Granbury Gardens Bed and Breakfast. The hosts were incredibly gracious, friendly and helpful; the house and the room were lovely and spotless; the breakfast was wonderful and included homemade muffins, and fruit and yogart with homemade granola as the first course! There were homemade cookies available at all times and water and sodas in the mini-fridge. We were only a few blocks walk from the lovely downtown area with lots of shops and restaurants. We enjoyed a nice walk along the bike path and along the beach front. Granbury has much to offer but is also only a short driving distance to many other fun spots. We enjoyed a drive to Dublin to see the original Dr. Pepper bottling plant and to Glen Rose to visit the Dinosaur Valley State Park. All in all, we could not have had a lovelier weekend in Granbury. We highly recommend this B&B. You'll love the inn, the innkeepers and the town!

My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary with a trip to Texas Bed and Breakfasts. Granbury Gardens was absolutely wonderful. We wanted peace and quiet...time to rest and read...and we found the B&B charming and peaceful. Short walk to the Granbury square...very nice! The garden is beautiful and well-maintained. Stan made sure the hot tub was prepped and ready for the evening. Kay's breakfast was amazing! Thanks Stan and Kay...we hope to be back again soon! Tom and Melissa

There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe our stay at Granbury Gardens. The accommodations were fantastic, the food was wonderful and the owners are the perfect hosts. It was more like visiting the home of old friends than a stay at a bed and breakfast.

We really loved when we walked on the porch and the names of all the guests were written on a board. The innkeepers have done such a wonderful job on the house and garden areas. We loved the hospitality they provided and do plan on returning to stay again. The breakfast was wonderful.

Although we travel alot, this was our first bed & breakfast experience. The visit was short, however it was welcoming, restful, and peaceful. We couldn't dream of asking for more than what was offered. The gourmet breakfast and and other guest at the round dining table decked with fine china and candles made it very difficult to get on with the day. The lovely converstaion and great food remains a lasting impression that topped our stay with our highest of praise. Thank you Granbury Gardens Bed and Breakfast.

We have been to the Gardens every year for 3 years on our Anniversary. Every time it is wonderful. We will miss the previous innkeepers, but Stan and Kay are so kind, and so gifted at what they do at the Gardens that we are thrilled to have met them. The rooms and furnishings are very well cared for, the beds so comfortable that only the delicious breakfast can drag you out of it. The outdoor fireplace with fresh baked cookies and wine are heaven and the atmosphere is so comfortable and calming. When you step outside into the town you feel the same welcoming care. We always eat at String Beans because their steak is mouthwatering, then buy a little gift for ourselves at one of the many Antique shops or the Pan Handle (a unique cooking store) and since our Anniversary is in October we make a Christmas ornament at the "paint your own pottery place." If we have the time we take a short drive to a nearby winery and buy a box of our favorites to celebrate the holidays. We just love town and Granbury Gardens! Thank you for your hospitality! We will see you again soon.

I found Granbury Gardens online and must say that it was everything and more that the webpage promised. I enjoyed a personal retreat for 2 days of peace and quiet, gourmet breakfasts, and lovely accommodations. From the bedding to the gardens this place is a hidden treasure! Stan & Kay were gracious, sensitive hosts.

Stan and Kay were over the top as far as innkeepers go. The home is beautiful, the gardens cool and welcoming and, of course, the gourmet meals were the highlight of each day. Our every want and need was taken care of and we felt right at home. I'll certainly return for another stay.

My wife and I stayed here for our 1 year anniversary. It was a fantastic experience in every respect. Stan and Kay are very warm and inviting-they make you feel right at home. The actual house and rooms are also very nice. We stayed in the Garden suite and enjoyed room-access to the gardens and the hot tub! The breakfast is like a 3 course meal, and it's awesome. Just make sure you're hungry! Of course, my wife and also toured around Granbury itself (the historic square is only about a two block walk from the B&B). It's a pleasant place with plenty to do. Lots of shops and restaurants (and a beach!). If you like antiquing, there are also some good places for that. We had a great time the Granbury Gardens, and I'm sure we'll be back!

My wife and I were fortunate enough to spend an evening at Granbury Gardens in Granbury, TX. I cannot tell you how peaceful, pleasant, enjoyable, delicious, relaxing, friendly, and delightful our stay was because words simply fail me in trying to describe the hosts and their wonderful home! Stan and Kay are a fantastic pair and make any stay at their home a great experience. The garden, the INCREDIBLE breakfast, their recommendations about the local nightlife, the quiet and peaceful rooms, the elegant setting, EVERYTHING about our trip to Granbury Gardens was, in a word, superb! We highly recommend this lovely getaway location!

We just enjoyed our second stay at this lovely B&B. Once again we enjoyed a delightful stay in the Garden Suite. We so enjoy being able to step right out into the garden from this very relaxing suite. The luxurious linens and comfortable bed assured us of two wonderful nights sleep. The claw foot tub provided a great bubble bath time and the spacious glass shower fit my husband's need for an accessible shower, as did the first floor bedroom. So often easily accessible facilities are so utilitarian, but not so here! The two comfy chairs in the room made great "theater seating" so we could spend a lazy afternoon watching movies. Breakfast was yummy both mornings, well prepared recipes, fresh hot coffee and a special breakfast "dessert". But the main reason we returned was due to the graciousness of the delightful hosts, Stan and Kay....truly we felt like we had come home to family when we arrived for our second visit. They are most attentive and available without being intrusive. We are so looking forward to our next trip to the Granbury Gardens B & B. Billy & Jodi

Having never stayed at a B & B, my sister and I did not know what to expect when we arrived at Granbury Gardens B & B. From the minute we arrived to find our names on the easel on the beautiful front porch greeting us until we closed the door behind us upon leaving, it was beyond anything we could have imagined! We felt we had known the owners Stan and Kay forever and the house itself was beautiful, peaceful, and comfortable! Our room was lovely and the breakfast was fabulous. We were pampered beyond words and for two old ladies like us it was all a special treat. We will definitely go back! Anyone interested in an outstanding B & B in a quaint, fun and historic little Texas town should make the trip to Granbury, visit all the shops on the town square, see the lake, AND stay at the Granbury Gardens B & B. It's well worth the time, the trip and will exceed your expectations!

We found the Granbury Gardens on the internet. It was a great find. Stan and Kay are wonderful hosts. Location is fabulous; you can enjoy both the lake and the wonderful downtown with a short walk. We don't stay in Bed & Breakfasts a lot but this is one of the best. Comfortable beds, nice amenities full conveniences. The breakfast is absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended!

What a treat! We knew we were in for a sumptuous breakfast after having the incredible homemade chocolate chip cookies. Kay made a four-course gourmet breakfast that was absolutely delicious, and the main course, Eggs in a Cloud with French Toast were divine! The innkeepers, Kay and Stan, made our stay warm and inviting but not intrusive. We will definitely be back, and this time for a couple of days to enjoy a show, a fire in the outdoor fire place and a dip in the hot tub!

My husband and I needed a get away weekend so we thought of Granbury. We've only stayed on one other B&B and it was more like a mini hotel so Granbury Gardens was a real treat for us. The innkeepers, Stan & Kay Wasielewski made us feel at home. They told us about the 4th of July annual parade in town. It was in walking distance. The inn and all the sites around had a real hometown feeling. The breakfasts at Granbury Gardens were delightful, tasty food and great fellowship with Stan, Kay and the other guests. We would recommend this B&B to everyone.

My son arranged this family weekend in Granbury. It was truly memorable and perfect for our family. The house is beautifully restored, everything worked and the breakfast was really a treat. Kay and Stan made us feel right at home. The patio outdoors was delightful after our short walk onto the Square for dinner, with a nice fire for the April evening, to take off the chill. It was really a joy to visit, and I hope to go back soon.

The owners, Stan and Kay, were unbelieveable! Very friendly but not intrusive. Took outstanding care of us. Breakfast was a delight, beyond expectation. Small size allows for easy mixing with the other guests and the hosts, if you want to. We did and were very pleased with the experience. The garden is beautiful and is a wonderful place to visit or just sit and enjoy. The room was perfect and VERY clean. We will return and bring friends.

As a surprise for my husband on our 13th anniversary, I booked a room at Granbury Gardens B&B, along with our best friends. He had no idea what we were doing as I programmed the address into our GPS system and told him to follow it. When we pulled into their driveway, to say he was unenthused is an understatement. Once we walked into Stan and Kay's beautiful B&B, I knew he would come around. Kay greeted us and was a comforting and welcoming presence. As I was signing in, he noticed our friend's names in the registry. His mood began to lighten. Our room was quite comfortable and perfectly appointed with every detail that one would think of. After we settled in, we met up with our friends for dinner, who had arrived earlier in the day and had already explored around Granbury's historic square. When we returned to the B&B after dinner we had the pleasure of meeting Stan. He is quite a card! We were offered a glass of butterscotch schnapps (which was delicious!). He also offered to light a fire in their outdoor fireplace. We took him up on it and enjoyed a bottle of wine with our friends. Our stay was perfect and I must explain why I rated the "Dining" portion as "Met my expectations." The next morning, I wasn't up to making the breakfast, so my husband went alone to eat with our friends. Since I did not partake, I do not feel like I can adequately give a review for that part. My husband is a picky eater, so I can't take his word either. In closing, Granbury Gardens B&B is by far the nicest and best B&B where we have ever stayed. If you will be going to Granbury, Texas, you should strongly consider staying with Stan & Kay. You will not regret it!

Granbury Gardens was a perfect place to help celebrate our friends anniversary with them. The house was beautiful and charming and matched Stan and Kay's hospitality. Stan and Kay made us feel right at home and insisted we treat it as home. The grounds were beautiful and the backyard and patio added the perfect setting to sit out and enjoy the evening with a glass of wine and a fire built by Stan. The hot tub was the perfect bonus to top our night off and help us sleep like babies in the comfortable bed. The breakfast was out of this world. We hated to leave and I had only wished we had booked 2 nights so we could enjoy the patio with our morning coffee. I would definitely return and recommend the beautiful bed and breakfast to my friends, family and even perfect strangers.

The Granbury Gardens B&B is truly a lovely find in a beautiful locale. It's an early 1900's home that is impeccably trimmed out with tasteful furnishings, shiny floors and unique features that remind you that you're not in a "McB&B"! Kay and Stan are gracious and attentive and Kay's cooking is WONDERFUL! Our stay was a perfect escape from our busy lives 55 miles away in the Fort Worth area. Highly Recommended!

We were given a one-night stay at Granbury Gardens as a gift and we thought that that was a fine gift in itself until we ARRIVED at Granbury Gardens AND got to meet Kay and Stan Wasielewski! The REAL gift was to spend the time that we did with them and in their BEAUTIFUL B&B and their magnificant garden, a memory that will linger for days to come. The time was peaceful, restful, tasteful (Kay created a WONDERFUL assortment of breakfast goodies) and, most of all, welcoming. We felt like instant friends with the two of them, making it hard to need to leave. We strongly encourage anyone with a desire for being outdoors to relax to stay here to savor their beautiful surroundings outside and for anyone that enjoys a peaceful place to relax with GREAT company this B&B is a SURE fit! Blessings to the Wasielewski's!!

This B&B is certainly one of the best we have stayed at. The accommodations were perfect for our group. We booked all of the rooms in order to have privacy but the owner seemed to want to hang out with us. They were very nice but this was a weekend for us to visit with each other, not to have the owner tell us his life story.

My husband gave me a 2 night stay at Granbury Gardens as a surprise. What a great gift to receive. From the moment we arrived, Stan and Kay made us feel right at home. Our room was lovely and the grounds very inviting. The outdoor fireplace was just the thing on a chilly March night. We intend to return when it's warmer to see the gardens at their best. The food was great and their special chocolate cookies were too tempting. We definately plan to return again. It was a wonderful weekend. This was without a doubt our favorite B&B experience.

Kay & Stan's Granbury Gardens B&B is great way to visit and explore the town square, just a 3 block stroll away. They pamper their guests with outstanding breakfasts, comfy rooms and common areas, restaurant recommendations, a wonderful hot tub for soaking in the backyard garden area, and all the chocolate chip oatmeal cookies one could possibly eat. We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed them all. With bad knees, we liked that the building was one level. Highly recommended.

The breakfast was wonderful--and the added "cleanse your palet sherbert " came as a special treat. Thank you for a very special stay!

As a widely published travel and dining article writer, I have become increasingly critical of B&Bs. Most I've visited are well managed and provide excellent amenities. Granbury Gardens tops that list! Innkeepers and owners, Kay and Stan Wasielewski have outdone themselves in giving their facility the tender loving care that a first class B&B deserves. Furnishings, amenities and food are each in a class by themselves. The inn's best attribute is the cordiality and concern with which each guest is treated. The Wasielewski's have mastered all the attributes of hospitality to the degree that their welcome makes one feel like they have made a homecoming. I must rate this facility the best I have visited in Texas. Bravo, to the charming couple that have made the inn such a success.

My husband and I met my brother and sister-in-law at Granbury Gardens last Friday. We were very well pleased with the accommodations and the hospitality of the owners, Stan and Kay, who treated us like new friends. My husband enjoyed their dog Angel, who was a perfect lady. As we arrived at the front door we saw our names on a sign, welcoming us and the other guests. What a nice welcome! We enjoyed the award-winning chocolate chip cookies, coffee and tea. Our bedroom was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. They had thought of everything we would need to make our stay relaxing and convenient. The bedside lamps were touchtronic, which really helps in an unfamiliar place. The jacuzzi tub was great. Kay had a selection of magazines to read while enjoying the tub. Stan and Kay gave us recommendations of restaurants for dinner on Friday night. After dinner we relaxed in the living room with the fireplace adding warmth and charm. The breakfast on Saturday morning was excellent. Truly gourmet and elegantly served. It was fun to visit with the other guests and get acquainted while we enjoyed the excellent breakfast. We would highly recommend Granbury Gardens.

We stayed for three nights at Granbury Gardens to get away from everything for a few days during New Years. We had a neat place to stay with great people running the Inn! We were near enough to the square to easily explore all the stores which is great. We watched a lot of the bowl games after we started each day off with a wonderful breakfast! Stan and Kay couldn't be friendlier and more helpful! They always kept great fresh baked cookies in the dinning area all day an night long. Coffee, tea, and soft drinks were always available. Stan warmed up the jacuzzi just in case we wanted to take a dip but the bowl games were just too big a draw! They made us feel like we were home and wanted to go back!

Stan and Kay, the proprietors were incredibly hospitable and provide a wonderful environment for their guests to have an extremely relaxing stay. We were only there for one night, as we hadn't come very far. However, we had been on a motorcycle all day, so it was a very refreshing place to stay with the jacquzzi tub for sore muscles! 2 blocks from the square made it nice to be close but not in it. When we came back, Stan still had a fire going outside with homemade cookies and coffee. We were able to relax and enjoy the rest of the evening listening to the water trickling in the garden pond. We highly recommend it, for the price, it was a bargain!

The hospitality, food and atmosphere of the Granbury Gardens put it at the top of our list of favorite B&B's. Kay is an amazing cook; the chocolate cookies are to die for! Stan and Kay offer fabulous hospitality.

Stan and Kay are delightful hosts. We could not have asked for better service. The breakfast was the best we have ever had at a B & B.
5 on August 22, 2009
Stan and Kay have impeccable taste in design and hospitality. The inn is not a hodgepodge of antiques, but a tasteful mix of fine furnishings and charming touches. Coffee on the front porch early morning and quiet late evening conversation in the garden served as a brief season of renewal before heading back to the demands of our hectic schedules. Breakfast was a delight - not your ordinary fried eggs and ham. My favorite was a delicious granola parfait. A close second was "eggs in a cloud". We would love to stay again. Lee and Marolyn

Wonderful hospitality and great food. The house was charming and our every comfort was thought of.
5 on August 17, 2009
Though Stan and Kay are not from Texas, they truly belong here. Their hospitality is absolute; they made us feel very special. Kay is a wonderful cook - I've NEVER had such big, yummy breakfasts. The room (we had the Granbury suite) was big, very clean and furnished with beautiful antiques. There were little touches all over, like the chocolates on the table in the room and the fresh flowers. We will most definitely return. If you want somewhere to just relax, this is the place (and is within walking distance of the Granbury town square). Kudos to Stan and Kay! Thank you so much from David and Laurie

My mother and I enjoyed a relaxing mother-daughter weekend at Granbury Gardens. It is a peaceful, warm, and welcoming home away from home. Our room was absolutely beautiful and cozy with a relaxing bathroom featuring an antique clawfoot tub! Our room opened up into the heavenly garden that was so tranquil with a fountain, great landscaping, and a jacuzzi to soak in. Stan and Kay are the best of the best inkeepers and provided a wonderful weekend getaway for all eight visitors! Your time and money will be well spent at Granbury Gardens.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary in Granbury,on June 30,the city in which we were married 25 years ago. Kay and Stan, the owners, toasted us in the evening with wine on their beautiful patio. Even though the temperatures were soaring during our hot Texas summer the gentle breeze served us well. Our stay was delightful and breakfast was to die for....Yummmm. I highly recommend the inn and the hospitality of our new friends.

The Granbury Gardens B&B was our first stay at a B&B. The stay exceeded our expectations. The location is superb as it is within walking distance to the town center and a free trolley also runs by. Parking was great. The owners were very polite and helpful with the surrounding area. The B&B was quite impressive. The home is a wonderful 100 year old home. The amenities are wonderful. The bedroom was great and very comfortable. The neighborhood is quite and tree lined. The city has a great lineup of stores, shops and shows. The breakfast was outstanding, something you would expect from a top hotel. If you are staying in Granbury and wish to travel to the lake or city, this is the place to stay. Tim and Kim

This past weekend (4/17) I had the opportunity to stay at the Grandbury Gardens. I am so glad to have met the owners and others who were there. The room was absolutely beautiful, the large bathroom was great and the tub has claw feet. The patio door led to a beautiful outdoors with hot-tub, sitting area, and a beautiful garden. Breakfast was so good with chocolate zucchini bread and a large cookie with blueberries and chocolate. The souffle was awesome, potatoes seasoned just right and the pancake was heavenly. I almost forgot: the fruit cup was terrific. I wathced televison for one hour during the night, turned out the light, and before I knew it, it was time to get up. I slept so good. I would definitely go back and I am telling my friends about the wonderful hospitality and good food.

What a wonderful experience for my daughters. This was their first time to a B&B and Larry & Frankie made it very memorable for them. Not knowing what to expect, the girls were delighted upon our arrival and tour of their beautiful home. It's such a christian atmosphere with so much to offer. The four course breakfast was scrumptious!!! We had to walk the Granbury square for hours just to walk off the wonderful food. This will definately be a B&B that we would visit again.

4.6 on March 13, 2009
The food was great! The extra snacks in the room (popcorn w/bowl & a little tray of mini chocolate bars& mints) are nice for later. They have a mini frig for the guest w/soft drinks and water that are available anytime. Each evening they left homemade cookies and cake on the buffet table. My trip was to getaway for a few days of quiet and tranquility. It was wonderful because this place is very peaceful and Larry and Frankie don't bother you but are available if you need them. A very nice Christian couple. I enjoyed the personal prayer at breakfast each morning. Larry prayed over each guest and then blessed the meal. Made me smile. I also liked hearing Frank Sinatra Saturday morning and praise and worship music on the "jukebox" Sunday morning before breakfast. Very enjoyable. A bonus to this place is you can 'walk' to the town square easily.

Our host and hostess were special christian people who just went above and beyond to make us welcome. Valentine's Day was made special with heart shaped chocolate chip cookies and heart shaped pancakes included in the scrumptious four course breakfast! We certainly look forward to another visit very soon.

My husband and I have been for 2 wedding anniversaries. We had such a wonderful experience each time that we took my parents for the Holidays this year. It is always a relaxing experience with unparalleled hospitality, a four-course full-service breakfast that is truly amazing and the rooms and baths are just darling. I wish we could stay every weekend. It is also conveniently on the trolley route (if you would like a tour of the town before being dropped off in the square), and is within short walking distance from the square if you feel the need to exercise after the full breakfast. Thank you Frankie and Larry!!!

We really enjoyed the evening fire on the patio, the dessert and coffee in the evening, and the delicious breakfast. We also appreciated how they worked to accommodate any dietary issues we had. We hope to be able to visit again soon!

From our names listed on the Welcome! white-board on the porch, to Frankie's warm greeting, we were immediately made to feel comfortable at Granbury Gardens. We arrived around 4:30 in the afternoon, and were offered just-baked cake to "tied us over' until dinner. After a comfortable night's rest, we enjoyed a wonderful four-course breakfast with the other three couples who were sharing the fully-booked inn. Frankie's husband Larry led the prayer, blessing our meal and all who were at the table. The inn's location is also a plus, within an easy walk to the Hood County Courthouse and lively town square. The Garners did everything we could have asked to make our stay comfortable and memorable.

Larry and Frankie obviously LOVE entertaining guests in their home! We were all made to feel so at home, like we were part of the family. But I'm glad we only stayed one night because Frankie's cooking is addictive! Their home is just far enough away from town to yeild a quiet evening, but just 5 minutes away from the square or lake. It is intimate, with only 4 suites, but has a beautiful garden area for a party or meeting. I am definetly recommending the Garners to my friends for either a romantic getaway or "Girl's weekend"!

I loved it so much, I went back for a 2nd stay within 4 weeks. WOW!!!! If you enjoy a "personal welcome note" on the front porch, old-fashioned Christian hospitality, & a 4-COURSE breakfast (Yes, I said 4-course), then you'll love Granbury Gardens. If you've been to England, you know how dry scones can be??? Well, you'll throw rocks at all the others--Frankie's are so moist, you'll think you've died and gone to heaven. (Best I've ever put in my mouth!!!) ALL OF THIS IS WORTH THE DRIVE, but "BEWARE", you'll be spoiled and feel like you've just left your favorite aunt & uncle's house when you have to say goodbye.
