Our wonderful country Victorian Granbury Texas Waterfront Bed and Breakfast Inn on Lake Granbury is fulfilling our bed & breakfast dream. Renovations on this classic beauty began in September '98 to provide private baths for the 4 unique guest rooms and add loving touches with family heirlooms and period décor. The warm glow of wood floors, unique pocket doors, 14' ceilings downstairs, & interesting landings, angles, & hallways upstairs surprise you at every turn. The massive library spotlights beautiful floor-to-ceiling shelves, romantic French doors, and tall windows, adding warm touches of light to the room. Guests enjoy family-style breakfasts in the spacious kitchen overlooking scenic Lake Granbury. The porches, swings, rockers, gazebo, & double-decked dock enhance the 2-acre grounds, which have been a peaceful interlude for guests from as far as Poland & as close as Weatherford. The universal feeling is peacefulness, enchantment, and encouragement. "The harbour" provides a Christian setting for your wedding/reception, or group retreat. Gift Certificates for any occasion.

We were looking for a quick getaway that would be peaceful. From the moment I spoke with Terry on the phone to reserve our stay until the moment we checked out, we were blown away. Our first experience was so great that we are looking forward to a return very soon. The owners are definitely gifted at what they do!

We vacationed in Granbury Texas over the 4th of July weekend for our friend's 50th Anniversary. We stayed at Baker St Harbour Waterfront Bed & Breakfast with two great hosts - Terry and Perry Wray. They were welcoming, charming and easy to talk with, making us feel right at home. They asked us if if there was anything we needed and even provided us a breakfast sandwich and fruit to take with us on our early trip to the airport. The Doyle Suite was comfortable and provided us with a separate entrance and privacy when we needed it. The view of the lake, the blossoming Texas Sage Brush and the waterfall all provided beautiful scenery for a walk or just sitting under the Gazebo reading a book. We even shared fireworks under the Gazebo with our friends from Minnesota and Texas on July 4th. Many thanks to Terry and Perry for helping us feel at home.

The only reason I am giving Baker St. Harbour a rating of "Excellent-5 Stars" is because there is not an Excellent + (or 6 stars). Terry Wray worked with us to make our daughter's 21st birthday a great memory. The communications prior were quick and helpful. The Wrays knew it was a special trip and they made it just that. Perry even carried our bags upstairs on arrival. They had prepared a packet of things to do, arranged for a birthday surprise, and left no stone unturned. One of the nicest things was that Terry and Perry took care of things before we even asked. It was just a very special stay and we could not be happier. It is a memory that we will always have.... and we will be back ! Thank you SOOOO much !
