Belle Oaks Inn

  • Inn Details

Belle Oaks Inn was built by banker C.E. Dilworth in 1912. The Louisiana Plantation Style mansion has been transformed into a modern tribute to the Southern charm, hospitality, and grace of a bygone era. The comfortable guest rooms have been tastefully decorated with a mix of fine antiques and furnishings with attention given to every detail. The extensive grounds include, beautifully manicured lawns and gardens, a sparkling swimming pool and reflecting pond, which are all nestled under massive Live Oak and Pecan trees. Each room includes amenities such as coffee makers, hair dryers, robes, cable TV with VCRs, AM/FM alarms, luxury linens, down comforters and pillows. All rooms have private baths stocked with a selection of specially selected fine soaps, shampoos, and bath gels. Guests at Belle Oaks are invited to enjoy our generous gourmet breakfast in the ambience of our elegantly appointed dining room. You can choose from a wide selection of baked goods, our own signature Southern Brunch Casserole or Belle Oaks Inn Pecan Orange Bread which has become a favorite of our guests, many who will ask for it each time they return! We also offer a selection of fresh fruit and juices, yogurt, flavored herbal and spiced teas, hot chocolate, hot spiced cider and gourmet coffee and espresso. Breakfast is self served so you can enjoy it at your leisure.

We stayed at Belle Oaks with a group of 10 last summer and everyone had a fabulous time. The pool is cozy, the rooms are nice, the coffee pot is endless and breakfast was tasty. Being able to walk to the town square for pizza and pool was convenient and the hosts arranged a city history tour which added a nice touch to a great weekend. M. Frost Austin, TX

This place is fantastic and the innkeepers only add to the total experience. I return at least once a year and have started giving gift certificates to friends and family. I am currently trying to schedule a weekend here and they are booked out 6-weeks. I am thinking about not sharing my excitement with anyone else. It is getting too popular. I know you will enjoy it as much as I always do.

Hospitality, rich history, beautiful decor and classy, friendly hosts. Richard and Clint make this a memorable experience, whether it is your first or twenteith time to visit. This Inn is well worth the money, the breakfast is gourmet and the grounds are beautiful and well kept. This is my all time favorite B&B!!

    I will be back.

My first choice when I stay near work. It has historical rooms, interesting surroundings, and it is downtown. They made my wife and I fill at home.
