We love the Inn On The River...and have been going there for many years. We celebrated our daughter's wedding there, our son's prom reception, numerous dinners and nights away from home...It is absolutely lovely and the grounds are beautiful The tranquility of the river and being in such a historic inn is reason to return over and over! What a great get-a-way weekend! Thanks to the staff for all the attention to details.

My husband and I needed a getaway, and Inn on the River was the perfect place! From check-in to check-out, all of our needs were met. The staff was very friendly, and the food was out of this world! Breakfast each morning was so good, and I highly recommend having dinner at the Inn...delicious!!! Our room was beautiful and very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We loved how each room was decorated in beautiful antiques. The grounds at the Inn were peaceful and gorgeous...definitely just the place to unwind and relax! What a treat!

My wife and I stayed here for our 3rd anniv. It was a nice place, the people were friendly and the food was good. The service and cleanliness were excellent. The town of Glen Rose was very historic and just what we wanted. Our only complaint is that the rooms are small (10x10). We had to turn sideways to walk beside the bed (we are skinny people) - this made me feel like we were not getting a fair deal for our money.
