Everything went so smooth. We stayed in the railroad car and It was much bigger inside than I expected it to be. The chapel was precious and the horses were so friendly. I had my morning coffee on the porch with horses. I was suprised there was a hamock and sandbox and slide for the kids. There was also plenty of outdoor furniture for sitting and a nice hiking trail. The children were delighted. We hope to come back on a weekend to try the breakfast.

STAY HERE, but be informed. We have stayed in many a BnB, and this is by far the kid-friendliest there is!! We stayed in the Railcar, which was exciting enough for the kids; but remember, this is a railcar, ONE room, it was a little chilly, the beds could use some WD40, but were adequate for a weekend with plenty of pillows and blankets. Movies and books were provided. A small fridge for drinks and snacks, a small stove and microwave. We ate out so I'm not sure about the utensils, etc. The decorations were great and added to the fun. The 'Cabin in the woods' was literally right next door, so this is not secluded. We enjoyed the trails but do NOT attempt to go up the mountain if you have small children or are unprepared to slide back down. Take a walking stick. The barnyard was WONDERFUL. The kids could have spent most of their time here feeding and petting. We used the campfire for s'mores. The breakfast, although kid friendly, was disappointing for adults. But eating in the barn with the horse stopping by to visit for a carrot was worth it, at least one day. And surprisingly, NO SMELL. The swimming hole is not on property but is literally right next door to walk to, but it is public, so may become crowded, but there is plenty of room. There is a STRONG current in some areas, so be careful, but it is ankle shallow in alot of places, so nice for wading. It is part of Big Rock Park, very cool to see. Remember you are on a farm, so keep food enclosed, we had a little visitor in the night (a mouse). We will return, the kids loved it.
