This is a lovely place to pass the evenings when in Galveston. We were on the third floor, with a private bath. Safe secure and quiet. We got a great night's sleep and interesting conversation at breakfast!
Thank you very much for taking the time to write the review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Also meeting and conversing with the other guests. Breakfast time is our favorite time of the day!

We stayed here the night before a cruise and it was amazing!!! Situated between The Strand and the beach for easy access to both. Maria was an awesome hostess and the breakfast was perfect! Cruise parking was also included to add to the value of this stay. We'll be back next year.

We stayed in the Lost Bayou Guest House for one night preceeding and one night after our cruise. Dave and Maria are consummate hosts. They think of things you need before you need them. The common area/refreshment centre/snack centre was lovely and equipped with all sorts of tea, juice, coffee, bottled water and snacks. They are located in a quiet neighbourhood within walking distance of the old Historic District and a 5 minute taxi ride to the Pier. They provided great suggestions for dining and were a wealth of information about the history of Galveston. Our room was well appointed and the window air conditioner kept us cool. I would highly recommend you stay in this lovely home. Thanks again, Dave and Maria
Thank you very much for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us and we would love for you to comeback and stay with us on your next trip to Galveston. We hope you had a great time during your cruise.

Delightful B&B in an historic old building. Amenities were more than adequate, with coffee, tea, juice, and snacks available around the clock. Hosts were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Couldn't have asked for more.
