Inn Details

This lovely Victorian home was originally built in 1886 by Galveston businessman, Theodore Ohmstede. Built to last, this 123 year old home withstood numerous hurricanes including the Great Storm of 1900, Carla in '61, Alicia in '83, and Ike in '08. The historic home has been lovingly restored and furnished with antiques and fine furniture to offer a blend of Victorian and traditional elegance. Until 1995 the home served as a private residence or boarding house. At that time it was purchased by the present owners for the purpose of turning it into a Bed and Breakfast Inn. The Inn offers five lovely guest rooms, all with private baths and one with a Jacuzzi. Enjoy a full gourmet breakfast in the morning before heading out to explore Galveston. We invite you to come and experience our lovely Inn, stroll in our beautiful gardens, relax in the gulf breezes on one of our terrace porches, and enjoy a restful respite from your everyday cares. Allow us to make your special vacation retreat a memorable experience. Call 1-888-558-9444 for reservations.
