The Coppersmith Inn exemplifies what a Bed & Breakfast should be. Cozy, quiet, clean and outstanding service. Ellen and Blair know how to take care of their guests and the morning breakfasts are out of this world! The only suggestion we would have would be to consider upgrading the mattress in the Jasmine Room. It was a bit soft, but then again we prefer a firm mattress. Thanks, Jeff Jones & Linda Rice.

I really enjoyed the Coppersmith. The room on the balcony was exactly what I was looking for! Sitting on the balcony listening to the ocean was fantastic. Breakfast was also super-tasty, and I really appreciated that they were willing to make sure I got a fantastic vegan breakfast. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

Went to Galveston with my wife to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary. B&B owners helped us select restaurant for that evening, which provided great food and service. Each day they visited with us at breakfast, sharing some of the island history as well as the history of the house. Saturday they made reservations for my wife and I at a great Steakhouse we enjoyed so much. This weekend was the most relaxing time I have had in years.

Just a brief one night stop over, a beautiful house displaying much attention to period detail Our host was very welcoming and gave a good suggestion for eating out that night. A very comfortable bed and a lovely breakfast - but slightly offputting to have one of the dogs whining at the side of the table throughout breakfast waiting to have her share of the sausage !

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at the Coppersmith! The Carriage House was wonderful. Everything about it made our stay perfect. The main house is a beautiful Victorian home with amazing windows. Breakfast was delicious each morning. Ellen and Blair shared information about the island and gave great suggestions for activities and tours to take. We plan to return! We recommend the Coppersmith to anyone who is looking for a relaxing getaway in Galveston! - Steven and Amanda Griggs

We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary with a 4 day 3 night getaway to this delightful B & B. We were not disappointed! The inn was charming, the food was outstanding and the innkeepers were delightful and full of local information. We especially enjoyed the private balcony in the evenings--very peaceful and quiet. We will highly recommend this place to our friends and we intend to return!
