We had a great new years weekend stay. The room was perfect and the hospitality warm and inviting. The breakfast was great and served with a smile. The old home showed well and was relaxing. See you there soon.

This was a much needed long weekend get away; the room was perfect and cozy and the house was beautiful. Lana was very accomodating on my arrival, during my stay and on departure. My husband and I stayed at Coastal Dreams for our 11 year anniversary weekend, and we were highly impressed with the house and our room! We felt so comfortable and cozy. The breakfast was absolutely superb and Lana baked fresh cranberry bread for us too! We didn't want to leave, and we'll definately be going back there!

Lana was the perfect hostess with an amazing breakfast every morning. The B&B is within walking distance of the Sea Wall and the pool and hot tub area was quiet and peaceful. It is the relaxing vacation my husband and I had wished for!

My husband and I took a trip to Galveston for our first year anniversary, and I'm so glad I found Coastal Dreams online. Neither of us had ever stayed in a bed and breakfast before, so we weren't sure what to expect. It was truly an amazing experience! The historic house had such a quaint atmosphere, and everything was elegantly decorated. Our room had, literally, the softest bedding I had ever felt. My husband kept making fun of me for caressing the sheets, but I just couldn't help it! Her hot breakfast on the weekend was delicious to say the least. Who wants continental when you can have stuffed french toast with an apple brandy sauce, baked eggs, and perfectly cooked bacon - plus fresh fruit and coffee to top it off?! The owner was extremely accommodating, even making exceptions for our convenience. We had such a wonderful time, that I am tempted to never stay in a hotel again if we can help it. Go to Coastal Dreams - you won't regret it!!

This was the first time my husband and I ever stayed at a B & B. Lana was a wonderful hostess. She was helpful and informative. Our room was clean. The bed was so comfortable and the sheets very soft. Breakfast was delicious. We'd definately go back again.

Clean and bright. Every room has its own personality, even the hallways. Nicely decorated. The best for last: Lana's food is out of this world!

My daughter and I stayed several days at Lana's Coastal Dreams b&b in October '10 - aside from a comfy bed, roomy bathroom, cozy parlor, delicious food ... the innkeeper went the extra mile several times for us and other guests - we are already looking forward to our next visit.

We stayed at Coastal Dreams for the weekend and absolutely loved it. The rooms are beautiful, well decorated, and comfortable. The breakfast Lana makes each morning is excellent and allowed us to meet some new friends. Lana herself is so friendly and willing to help. This stay was worth every penny and we will be back!

Coastal Dreams is FAR AND AWAY the B&B that my husband and I have enjoyed the most. There is so much attention to guest comfort and Lana is the perfect host. The home is lovely and the guest rooms are beautiful and comfortable. We spent some time by the pool - tranquil and relaxing. We didn't even realize that there was a full house of people until we came down for breakfast (which was absolutely delicious!) the next morning. After I raved about the breakfast, Lana took the time to send me on my way with an extra portion, as well as the recipe. A highlight experience and all of our compliments to the wonderful innkeeper! :)

I wanted to do something original for my fiance's birthday, something we had never done before and that's when I came across Coastal Dreams! And boy, did it exceed our expectations! From the wonderful hospitality to the marvelous food to the small necessities, such as the chocolate chip cookies and beverages in the micro fridge. Lana makes each visit special and meets each guests needs! I highly recommend anyone planning to do a bed and breakfast to most definately stay here! You will not dissatisfied! We will be back!

Love the place!!! The room is beautiful & very comfortable! Feel very welcomed with the warm greeting from Lana and the welcome card & little treats in the room. The food is awesome. And the pool is just an added bonus. Will never stay anywhere else in Galveston & I mean it. She was all booked so tried staying at a different B&B I realized how much I love this one. HIGHLY recommend to anyone going to Galveston.

My husband and I loved our trip here. It was so relaxing, and the house was gorgeous. You can tell Lana has great pride in this home, and enjoys being an Innkeeper. The breakfast was really good, the rooms were clean and well kept. Coastal Dreams had a lot of nice touches throughout the home, and the pool was a nice addition. Overall, great place!!

We had a wonderful stay at Coastal Dreams. We initially only had plans to stay one night and with it being so relaxing and enjoying we stayed an additional night. Lana was so very accomodating and extremely helpful with restaurants and attractions. Her attention to detail within her inn was superb. I stayed at Coastal Dreams in July of 2010 with three girlfriends. We had a wonderful time. Lana (our Hostess) was so charming and welcoming. The rooms are beautiful. The entire house is charming. I hope to return again soon and have another great night sleep and a delicious breakfast! Thanks again, Lana, for a truly fun time.

Lana was a charming innkeeper. We had never stayed at a bed and breakfast and were not sure what to expect other than a bed and breakfast. The house was interesting architecturally, and Lana made it cozy and comfortable. Our room was the smallest available, but we spent most of our time outdoors. Still it was relaxing to return and slip into the pool and hot tub in the evening with a view of the stars. The breakfasts were lovely and varied, and we enjoyed the conversation with the other guests. We were surprised that we saw and heard so little of the other guests. We plan to return in the fall.

We very much enjoyed the atmosphere, hospitality, cleanliness, amenities, along with the delicious breakfast! Our hostess was very accomodating and a delight to meet. This is a truly lovely place to stay and we look forward to future visits there.

This is a b&b that takes its name breakfast and keeps it yes you get a hot breakfast every morning not just weekends and the time for breakfast is perfect this is also the cleanest one yet and the owner refreshes your room with toilet paper and towels daily the pool is relaxing and the beds are comfy this is a gem that needs to be discovered there are many little extra s that make this place number 1

We found coastal dreams on the website,it looked great.When we got there it was even better. Lana greated us with a big smile and because we were late arriving, gave us supper in our room so we did not have to drive downtown after a 10 hour flight.It is a beautiful house in a nice place and our stay was brilliant.Great breakfast and a clean,comfortable room.We will tell everyone who wants to come to Galveston where they should stay.

The inn was immaculate. There was a welcome note with cookies and chocolates awaiting us in our room. The bed was exceptionally comfy. My husband, who usually wakes during the night, did not wake at all. Lana printed our Southwest Airlines boarding pass for us as soon as possible to assure we received "A" status. Breakfast was delicious and more than ample. Although we did not use the pool it looked very inviting. Lana was very helpful in helping us plan our visit by suggesting restaurants and sites which would fit our lifestyle and interests. Staying with Lana is a great value. We would stay here again.

My wife planned our Anniversary this year and surprised me with a stay at this wonderful BnB. I was overly impressed with the charm and beautiful atmosphere of the home. Lana certainly knows how to make peaople feel welcome with a personalized welcome card and fresh baked cookies. The breakfast was wonderful and the pool was fabulous. A great place to celebrate a romantic weekend! We stayed in the Gulf Room and were very comfortable. The house is beautiful and Lana makes you feel right at home, plus her stuffed French toast is to die for! The pool outback is a definite plus... we had the perfect weekend of doing absolutely nothing! We will surely return!

My wife and I stayed at Coastal Dreams in Galveston June 19th to 23rd,2009. The house is a lovely home built around the turn of the century. The home is decorated with antiques it is clean, the paint is fresh and our host Lana was egger to make our stay the best in any way possible. Lana made a wonderful LARGE gourmet breakfast and even accommodated our vegetarian diet along with the other guests meal that included “Mile High” baked eggs, fresh fruit, muffins, coffee, juice, bacon and link sausage. Galveston is on the rebound from hurricane “Ike” and the area has made amazing strides to rebuild their community. The beaches were clean. There was little storm damage still remaining. This is a real “Pull your self up by your boot straps community”. I highly recommend your next weekend or vacation be in Galveston Texas at the Coastal Dreams Bed and Breakfast. We had a great time. Loved this B&B so much that I booked it again for the following month. Great location, super clean & the perfect quite getaway. We enjoyed the pool all weekend & I can't wait to go back for some more R&R.

We chose to tour Texas for a second honeymoon while we were expecting our first baby. In our two weeks away from home, Coastal Dreams was definitely the highlight! The food was delicious and the company delightful. Being six months pregnant, I was expecting discomfort as a matter of course, but the beds were so comfortable! Our hostess could not be more accommodating. Two kids later, we cannot wait to get back to Coastal Dreams for some more alone time!

We stay at this lovely B&B every year when we're in Galveston for the AIA Sandcastle Competition. The rooms are lovely, the beds comfortable, the breakfasts elegant and wonderful! The innkeeper sets out snacks and hot water for tea or cocoa in the evenings, which is always appreciated at about 10 p.m.! The backyard pool is beautiful -- a real oasis. The Atlantic Room has extra amenities, like a small kitchen and refrigerator, if you plan to stay longer and would like to keep and reheat leftovers from some of Galveston's great restaurants. We always feel so comfortable and well cared-for at Coastal Dreams and look forward to our stay every year.

We had a wonderful experience at Coastal Dreams. The food was out of this world....Lana was awesome, extremely friendly and hospitable. She helped us make friends everyday at the breakfast table and told us about local flair and restaurants. She was most helpful. Galveston is a favorite place of mine to visit and she made it very ENJOYABLE!!!

We stayed 2 nights and were very pleased. there were fresh cookies and delicious chocolates to greet us (and that came standard with the rm, no upgrades!). there were free sodas in the upstairs little community rm with boardgames and dvds. our room was spacious and the bed was very inviting. lana and pokey were an absolute treasure and we plan on going back and staying here again!i have to admit i was a little leary of staying in a b and b but we were pleasantly surprised with everything! Breakfast was great and you can tell lana works very hard to make sure every little detail is perfect.

Lana is a wonderful hostess & terrific cook! Her restoration of this beautiful home is amazing. She made our January stay a great experience in spite of not so great weather & we were pleasantly surprised, contrary to the news reports, that Galveston Island was still intact after the 2008 Hurricane. We booked a room the night before our cruise and were just very pleased with the room - cheese and wine and breakfast the next morning. Lana was a wonderful hostess and we will definitely stay again the next time we are in Galveston.

We loved our recent stay at Coastal Dreams! Lana was wonderful. One day while we were playing in the ocean our car key was stolen (first time in many years of Galveston trips). Lana was a total lifesaver, bringing our extra car key from our room to the beach. We highly recommend this B&B.

Our three night stay was very relaxing on the extra thick and "comfy" mattress. It was so-o-o quiet you didn't think anyone else were in the other rooms. The room was very nicely decorated and had all the essentials in the bathroom you might have forgotten to pack. The breakfasts were wonderful with plenty to eat. Great old Galveston home serving as a neat, out of the way B&B. Arrived to Lana's greeting and warm hospitality. Great private room, nice touches like a welcome card in the room. Will be staying there again when travel finds us in Galveston. Much better than the local hotels and always fun to meet new people at breakfast! Give it a shot. You'll be glad you did.

Our stay was wonderful! It made for a relaxing anniversary trip. The house is beautiful and very well kept. Lana was friendly and very helpful with things to see and places to go in Galveston. We were very sad to go after being there for a week. It sure felt like home! Thanks Lana!

I attended a conference in March and due to my late booking, the Moody Gardens Hotel was full. I found Coastal Dreams and wouldn't even CONSIDER staying at a hotel again in Galveston. It was an amazing experience! Lana provided first-class service and went above and beyond to accommodate my early morning meetings. She even had coffee ready for me every morning at 6 a.m. I told her it wasn't necessary but she insisted. I just cannot ever thank her enough for all of the nice touches. I left there feeling I had made a friend. Breakfast was outstanding! (One morning I had to be at my meeting too early to join the others and she made me a delicious breakfast to go!) I stayed in the Gulf room and enjoyed the comfortable bed and pillows that I wished I could take home with me. The free wifi was one more added bonus! I'll NEVER forget my experience and highly recommend this place to all travelers.

It was Jeremy & I's first stay at a B&B & now we will always try to stay at a B&B instead of a hotel if they are anything like Coastal Dreams B&B and Lana, our hostess. I suprised Jeremy with a Wine & Cheese package. Lana was very discreet about the charges and tried to set the mood for us. She even accomodated our very late arrival & worked with me on making sure the Wine & Cheese suprise was fresh on our arrival. The wine was perfect - could not have chosen a better wine! The cheese...well, it was so good we had to ask what kind it was. The grapes were delicious! And the presentation was immaculate. Breakfast was great & the home was magnificent. The bedroom was elegantly decorated with just the right touches. If we are in Galveston, we know where we will be staying!!!!

A weekend getaway to Galveston was even more fantastic because we carefully researched a few B&Bs. Had a good feeling about Coastal Dreams. We were at peace and it felt like Heaven. Eveything far exceeded our expectations. It was great! Thanks Lana!

We enjoyed our stay at Coastal Dreams in March 2007. The historic home is beautifully maintained and has many personal touches and decorative detail to add to the charm. Breakfast was delicious and served in an elegant dining room. Lana, our hostess, was very friendly and it was a pleasure to chat with her. We have stayed in many B&Bs in Canada and Europe, and Coastal Dreams rates with the best of them. Coastal Dreams will continue to be a success.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Coastal Dreams and had a great time. Lana wasn't the nicest of people but, we didn't go there to talk to her. I need to say that if you like really sugary breakfast foods then it'll be right up your alley. The pool is really nice and everything was really close by.

My husband and I visited Coastal Dreams in November and had a wonderful,romantic weekend. The room was gorgeous and so very comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic. It is enjoyable to see how homes were constructed over 100 years ago and this house has original hardwood floors in most rooms and stained glass windows. The innkeeper,Lana, was so very helpful when we had questions regarding the life of the house or just where to go for an evening out. We will definitely return.
