Barons CreekSide featured in the HILL COUNTRY MAGAZINE: "....stands out as extra-special" ! And CABELAS has chosen the property to shoot their fashion catalog for the last three years. Two creeks are running trough 26 rolling acres. Listen to the sounds of nature on your porch ..and if you are ready for downtown Fredericksburg: its only a 2 minute drive. The best of both worlds. The "Swiss Log Cabins" were reconstructed from a 250 year old farmhouse that was shipped from Switzerland to Fredericksburg. Rustic elegance at its best. Whether you want a romantic weekend or gather with friends. All cabins have their own kitchenette or full kitchen(..the gentlemen usually sneak into town early in the morning to get some fresh goodies from one of the German bakeries). We can accommodate up to 50 guests in 15 different cabins and the Lodge. Great fishing just steps away from the cabins.

An incredible romantic weekend. The chalets were awesome. We walked the area amazed at the work Daniel had done. The attention to detail of the property and lodging was wonderful. We got engaged this weekend and were so impressed that we will be coming back for our wedding. We can't emphasize enough how wonderful of a place Baron's Creekside is.

It is an enchanting place to visit, my family and I enjoyed every aspect of it: surrounding by nature, close to town, all services available…..unquestionably a place to come back!! Thank you Daniel for the opportunity.

My family spent three nights in the farmhouse between Christmas and New Year's. The house was so warm and cozy and walking in to see a Christmas tree on and music playing was a great touch. It was very relaxing with beautiful scenery. What will make us return is that Daniel allowed us to bring our four legged, 40+ pound family member. That is customer service!

We very much enjoyed our stay in the Victorian. We met the owner and he helped us with a move in issue; very attentive and prompt to reply. Stay at this place!

The Davos cabin was amazing, the perfect getaway. The beds are beyond comfortable and the jacuzzi tub was totally relaxing. Me and my wife plan on returning next year.

We had a wonderful time in Wasserfall for our fifth anniversary. The weather turned on us the second day we were there so we decided to spend more time in the Cabin than we had planned. We lit a fire that we sit watched for hours and played games we had brought. Though they had a television with satellite we decided not to use it and just enjoy eachothers company in this romantic setting. We even moved the couch from in front of the fire and sat in the Jacuzzi to watch the flames dance and drank Champagne. The only things I missed were having a little something for breakfast and a one burner range. Even small breakfast rolls would have been nice.

I think I speak for myself and my boyfriend. We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the Grindelwald Cabin on New Years Eve. We wanted to get away from city and spend time alone. We made a good choice on where we wanted to bring in the New Year. It was my first experience at a Bed and Breakfast and my boyfriends visit to Fredericksburg. It was gorgeous, cozy, comfortable and clean in a nutshell. . We will definitely be back. Everyone was accommodating and kind.

These Swiss cabins are outstanding. The attention to detail is truly breath-taking... Baron's Creekside offers a great place to reunite with your significant other - whether you chose to just stay in your cabin, walk the grounds, or head to nearby Main Street.

Not only did Baron’s Creekside exceed my expectations, I wanted to select Outstanding (not available in the review as a selection). If outstanding is available as an option please upgrade my review to reflect OUTSTANDING. Barons Creekside is a wonderful place, this was my 6th visit and each time I go I enjoy it more – I can't say that about many places so Kudos to Barons Creekside! The grounds and cabins are special, I plan to stay again in 2015 and can’t wait to return! I feel like it’s my cabin in the country!

We usually stay at Interlaken for our weekend get-a-aways, but tried the Farmhouse this time and enjoyed the more homestyle feel. It was very comfortable and would be ideal for the family next time We definitely prefer the cozy, intimate feel of the Swiss Cabins.
