Barons CreekSide featured in the HILL COUNTRY MAGAZINE: "....stands out as extra-special" ! And CABELAS has chosen the property to shoot their fashion catalog for the last three years. Two creeks are running trough 26 rolling acres. Listen to the sounds of nature on your porch ..and if you are ready for downtown Fredericksburg: its only a 2 minute drive. The best of both worlds. The "Swiss Log Cabins" were reconstructed from a 250 year old farmhouse that was shipped from Switzerland to Fredericksburg. Rustic elegance at its best. Whether you want a romantic weekend or gather with friends. All cabins have their own kitchenette or full kitchen(..the gentlemen usually sneak into town early in the morning to get some fresh goodies from one of the German bakeries). We can accommodate up to 50 guests in 15 different cabins and the Lodge. Great fishing just steps away from the cabins.

This was a great place to stay. An oasis just far enough away from town for peace and quiet but close enough to grab dinner or drinks without questioning the drive. We have already made plans to stay during a winery tour.

Our second year at Barons CreekSide was even better than the first. The accommodations are outstanding The Grindlewald cabin has been our choice for the first two stays but next year we will be trying another. Can't wait until next year.

This is the fourth time I have stayed at Barons and each time I love it more. The cabins are beautifully furnished, the beds are comfy and we enjoyed the fire and the Jacuzzi. Daniel is a perfect host and has recently added a wonderful Blues Club on the property so we were able to walk over there for appetizers and listened to some really great live music.

We absolutely LOVED our stay! The cabins looked so beautiful from the outside and the property was so nice and well maintained. We stayed at the Mesquite Farmhouse - personally this was the most perfect place to stay. It was very private. The is a private dog run out back that my 2 Border Collies had a blast at. The backyard was plenty big, perfect for an intense game of Frisbee with them. There is a full sized kitchen, and BBQ grill outback. The best part is unwinding after a long day in the hot tub. The house is uniquely decorated and the beds were comfy!

Great property to get away and unplug for a romantic getaway. You can't go wrong with the individual privacy of each cabin and the proximity to wonderful Fredericksburg and the hill country. We Will return

My girlfriend and I recently stayed in the Geneva cabin for three nights and it blew us away! The owners are great people who seem to enjoy everything about what they're doing. They were quick to respond to requests and the overall experience was fantastic! We both agreed that if we had another day we would have spent the whole thing in the cabin and on the Barrons Creekside site.
