Hattie May Inn

Winner 2008 Ft. Worth Historic Preservation Award.

Do you dare spend the night in a real haunted house?

Join us for the first annual Haunted Candlelight Tour, sure to be a hair-raising experience! Hear the true Wild West tale of the murder mystery of James Liston which occurred in 1917 in this very house. The spooky fun begins with a "hallowing hour" of wine and light appetizers, followed by candlelit tour of the 1900's home. Come see the bullet hole and the blood stained floor, a gruesome reminder of the days when law and order was hard to come by. Put together your special vintage costume and step back in time to olden days of Fort Worth.
Tours are open to the public for $10.00 per person.

The special charm and elegance of the early Twentieth Century awaits you at the Hattie May Inn. This Victorian Queen Anne home has been lovingly restored and is furnished with the finest antiques and collectibles. We also provide you those special touches you can't find in a hotel. Enjoy a lazy afternoon with fresh baked cookies and lemonade or begin your evening with wine and cheese. The Hattie May Inn is located in the Maxwell-Liston House, a registered Texas Landmark. This late Queen Anne style residence features an open corner turret, a wraparound porch, and a library for guests to visit and relax. After touring Fort Worth's many attractions like the Museums, Stockyards and Sundance Square, you can retreat to the quiet luxury of our guestrooms. The master suite features a jacuzzi tub and private sitting area for an intimate breakfast or midnight snack. The Americana room also offers a screened in balcony just like Grandma used to have. We bring back the comfort of those good old days when breakfast meant hot biscuits, homemade muffins and a hearty country meal.
