    Open on weekends and for special events, The Country Place Hotel is a premier country inn located in the Zapp Building on Fayetteville's historic town square. Carefully restored in 2003 within the guidelines of the Texas Historical Commission, the inn has 8 second floor guestrooms featuring private tiled bathrooms. With hand made quilts, rocking chairs and fresh flowers in the rooms, we welcome our guests to quiet weekends in the country. Maryann and Clovis serve early morning coffee in the upstairs parlor, followed by a full gourmet breakfast in the dining room.

    When we found another F'ville unsatisfactory, we happened onto this one. Maryann happily opened for us, although she had planned to be closed that night. She & Clovis were most friendly and helpful!

    Our trip to the Country Place Hotel was in Nov. 2007. I still can not get that place out of my head. Myself and 7 other women in my family stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. Very thing about the place was wonderful. I was very laid back, relaxing, quiet and clean. We meet for coffee in the mornings on the porch and were served a wonderful homemade breakfast. Went to a cool wine tasting in Roundtop and came back for more visiting, a nap and then dinner. The owners & staff were wonderful and treated us like family. I can't say enough about this place, if you need a place to getway and relax this is it! Thanks for a wonderful time D. Havran
