My husband and I went back to stay one year after getting married at the Wildwood. I love it so much I want to keep coming back for the romance, relaxation and beauty.

Our stay at the Wildwood Inn was amazing in every way. The detail to the cleanliness of our room was breath taking. We will stay again and again. The breakfast was outstanding as well. Thank you.....

Wildwood Inn allowed me the opportunity to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony and an indoor/outdoor reception. The staff was friendly and there for me at all times. I could not have picked a better placed to have my wedding. We also stated the night of our wedding in one of the larger rooms--beautiful and romantic!

My husband and I were married at Wildwood Inn this past November. It is the one and only venue we looked at for our wedding. As soon as we pulled up we knew this was where we wanted to get married. This was our third visit to the Wildwood Inn and our third different room. The inn is beautiful, the backyard is very peaceful, and the staff is wonderful. The rooms are very nice and the bathroom in the suite we had was amazing. This is a great place to go for a quick romantic getaway or if you want to have some freshly prepared fine-dining in a manor-type experience. The only downside is the cost; the rooms can get pricey if you want the nicest ones and it's high for the meal BUT you get what you pay for. This blows other bed and breakfasts I've stayed at out of the water. They also have nice romance packages and things you can add to your stay. Try the chocolate dipped strawberries for sure; a full tray will be waiting when you arrive in your room. We will definitely continue to visit and you should too.

The Wildwood Inn and all of it's wonderful staff members, helped us create such a special and perfect day. My husband and I wanted a stress free wedding and it was as stress free as you could get. They helped with everything from finding a florist, a hairdresser, decorations and even a minister. My husband and I are vegan and they were very accommodating and provided delicious vegan food. All of the guest's raved about the food and many didn't realize it was vegan. :) They went above and beyond. We now look back at our wedding day with fond, stress free memories. It was the perfect wedding venue for us!

We were so fortunate to have our wedding at the Wildwood Inn in Denton, TX in December 2012. We rented the entire inn (all 14 rooms) the night before our event for our families to stay at, and we had our wedding the following day with our family and our friends. It was exactly the kind of intimate, "family-style" gathering that we wanted for our wedding, but with the indulgent comfort and service that you associate with a luxury bed-and-breakfast. The staff was amazing! They were so helpful and always eager to make sure that our every need was met. And the wedding coordinators were beyond helpful from the first day that we visited the venue through the last minute of our event. The outdoor pagoda was lovely, the food was delicious, and the hotel was spectacular. ALL of our guests raved about how different and intimate our wedding was, our families still talk about what an amazing time they had staying in the hotel rooms and eating at the restaurant, and we were so pleased with every detail that the staff put together for us on our big day. Furthermore, the value for your money is unmatched. I seriously cannot overstate how special this venue and its staff are!

I moved to Denton in 2008 and married in 2012. I decided to surprise my husband on our 1 year anniversary with a night at The Wildwood Inn. He knew about the reservations for dinner but not the room. He is the biggest romantic and I am not. I planned this night nearly a month before. I had ordered chocolate strawberries and a bottle of wine for the room. Dinner was fabulous (talk about a party in my mouth)! The staff was wonderful and kept the the room a secret. As dinner came to an end our waiter mentioned that we should look at one of the rooms in case we would like to stay sometime in the future. We were really surprised and the room! We had such a wonderful night. We stayed in room 13 and someday our master bedroom will look like that! The staff was wonderful. A must if you plan to stay in Denton.

I surprised my wife for Valentine's Day, and were fortunate enough to stay in Room 5. Wow! The decor was fabulous; my wife could not have designed it better herself! We loved the over-sized tub in the bathroom, and the welcoming chocolate strawberries were a nice touch. We also enjoyed dinner at the hotel, and the service was impeccable. Our menu was incredible, and we couldn't believe that we have missed out on a well-kept secret jewel in Denton for the past five years that we've lived here! We will absolutely be back, and can't wait to enjoy that bathtub again!

We've stayed at the Wildwood Inn many times. Very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast is always excellent, great specialty items like strawberry scones and yummy French toast and more. The staff is always friendly and ready to serve their guests' needs.Definitely the place to stay when we're in Denton.

More a boutique hotel than a B&B, the Wildwood Inn is a wonderful, lovely, friendly place to stay in a beautiful setting, for a few days or long term. We came up at Christmas to visit family and stayed there based on a family member's recommendation. The whole place was decorated in high Christmas style with a huge tree in the foyer, garlands on the stairway, and wreaths on the doors to the rooms. Our room was gorgeous and nicely appointed with a lovely bedcover, ceiling fan, and nightstands for each of us. The tiled bath has a deep soaking tub (with rainhead shower) , fixtures in rubbed bronze, and real cabinets -- with drawers -- to store toiletries (which you just don't see in hotels anymore), and bathrobes! It was every bit equal to our master bath at home. It would be very easy to spend a few weeks here exploring the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, and be comfortable doing it. Our room was spacious with a closet, hanging space and a chest of drawers with TV on top, a desk, and plenty of room to move around. The bed was amazingly comfortable! Everything was clean and tidy. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. With bad weather looming, they were willing to be flexible if we needed to go a bit early, and they took care of everything we needed without delay. We had dinner in the restaurant, and the meal we had rivaled any fine dining experience we have had in many years. The chef made us a meal to remember. My husband, an executive chef who has traveled internationally to train chefs for Hilton, deemed the meal "the best I've had in ages" and he is very picky, believe me. Wildwood Inn is our preferred place to stay while in the Dallas area. Thanks Wildwood Inn! We hope to see you again soon!

Nice place but not like most B&B's we've stayed in before. More like a secluded hotel. Nothing much for breakfast during the week and nothing done to make you feel special. Had to ask for tea when we came in about 8 p.m. Clerk had to hunt for it then I had to go to a kitchenette to heat water in microwave...simple pleasure that is usually readily available at most B&B's. Nothing bad, just nothing over the top.

After my wife and I concluded a very long week of wedding planning we really wanted a place to stay and relax. We found just the place. We stayed in room #13, LUCKY 13, we should say! They had everything we asked for and then some. The staff was very courteous and polite, along with prompt delivery to the room, even if it was very late and we asked for 2 Dr. Peppers! They brought us ICE in 2 wine glasses! Awesome service!!! The 2 person hot tub was the kicker, and a well earned relaxation after the long day. Perfect honeymoon or anniversary spot! Quiet and Quaint! Beautiful! 10 out of 10. Perfect.

Weecently stayed at the Wildwood In in Denton for Parents weekend at UNT. I would highly recommend the lodging here. Liked everything about our stay with the exception of being close to room where there was a wedding reception going on music was a little too loud. Other than that very happy with our stay. I went to the Wildwood Inn for my wedding night. We got in late and left early so we didn't get a chance to take advantage of many of the amenities but it would have been nice to do so. Everything was clean and the room was way larger than what I expected. We caught the tail end of breakfast but the coffee and hot strudel were very good on a rainy, Sunday morning.

ALL of the rooms we've stayed in are lovely. The grounds have an eleegant & peaceful atmosphere throughout. The staff are always helpful & friendly, & the food is very good. We live in the area & choose this cozy B&B when we need a quick get away. Highly recommend!!!

We loved our stay at the Wildwood Inn! The Inn is a very unique place and much better than I could have hoped. Aside for a few minor issues on wheelchair accessiblity the Inn is a real consideration for hosting any special event. My wife and I are looking forward to our next stay. There are a few employees and management that deserve special notice for outstanding service. I was trying to find a nice quiet place close by to celebrate our 21st anniversary. As I wanted to keep this a surprise, Myca the one who took our reservation and checked us in was very wonderful in helping me keep the surprises under wraps until we got into the room. She was very thoughtful, understanding, and helped make our anniversary very special. Orinza is another very special employee that really went out of his way to make us feel welcome and our anniversary truely memorable. Very friendly and outgoing he saw to every need we had in regards to food services. Kendra Jackway is the one who really made everything come together. Without her foresight and proactive customer service our visit would not have been so enjoyable. Thank you so very much for helping our 21st anniversary special!

The Wildwood Inn was beyond incredible. My fiancé and I decided to stay here a year ago, but we had to cancel. We stayed here August 9th and were completely satisfied. It feels like a hotel, but is so much more homey. The pictures don't even do it justice. We'll definitely come back again any chance we get.

The people were so nice and pleasant, the room was beautiful and clean, breakfast was delicious, and the grounds were beautiful. It doesn't get much better than this.

My husband made the reservations as a surprise for our first anniversary, when we opened up our room # 12 there was a chilled bottle of champagne and a dozen chocolate strawberries on the bed, he had thought of everything and the hotel staff made sure everything was perfect. Could not have been a more perfect place to stay, we will definitely make this an anniversary tradition.

We wanted a special place to celebrate our 38th anniversary. The Wildwood Inn was perfect. Our room was eclectic and fun, the view from the balcony was lovely, and we enjoyed relaxing by the pool and sitting under a canopy of shade trees. The staff were friendly and invited us to return -- which we plan to do for other special dates in our lives. It's a wonderful retreat we will continue to enjoy. Great rates on weekday rates, and we'll try the restaurant on the days it's open. Thanks for a memorable anniversary stay!

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Wildwood Inn. We went to celebrate our 3-year anniversary, and it was our first time at a B&B. Next year, we fully intend to return! If you are looking for a great place to stay, this is the one!

Unfortunate for us our anniversary fell on a weekday in which full breakfast and dining is not served. I loved the room (a bit small) and definitely the whirlpool but the continental breakfast was a flop. It was set up pretty but I would advise them to use platters with covers so the breads will not be hard and the flies could not sample the food. Also we had a superior room and no DVD players. Overall I would go back for relaxation purposes but not for special occasions. And of course not during the week Mon-Wed. good thing the hotel (bed and breakfast) is near shopping, dining, and theaters.

Was a guest at a wedding and chose to spend the night rather than drive home

I purchased the stay for my son and daughter-in-law as an anniversary present. I was concerned they might have difficulty checking in or have to pay a "hidden charge" as the price via bedandbreakfast.com was considerably less than directly with the hotel. They had no problems and loved their time at this hotel. They looked so relaxed when they returned. Thanks for making it so easy to purchase a gift!

The lovely rooms, the pleasant outdoor seating and the fabulous breakfast buffet served our family mini-retreat perfectly. We were so pleased with our tranquil and relaxing accommodations as an offset to our rather tumultuous outside activities. This B&B is a great choice.

We spent a weekend getaway at the Wildwood Inn for Memorial Day weekend. We stayed in Room 13 and it was unbelievable. Had a balcony overlooking the pool, room was extremely well kept, and entire Inn was beautiful. Only downside was there was a wedding that day and we could not use the pool or restaurant. Breakfast the next morning was exceptional, better than any other hotel that I have ever stayed in, very good quality.

My husband and I were enchanted by the pictures online first of all, then delighted by our firsthand experience in person on our wedding night. The staff was incredibly cordial, helpful as well as professional. They seemed as delighted to have us as we were to be there! The room was impressively furnished and the whirlpool, fireplace and decor only enhanced its charm. We found out we were the only guests staying at the Inn, but were overwhelmed to still find a fantastic spread waiting for us in the dining room for breakfast. I really can't say enough about this place, except that it must be enjoyed firsthand to be truly appreciated! Bravo, Wildwood!

Spent two nights at the Wildwood Inn, The room was clean and elegant. Our bed was free of criters but was a little on the hard side. The breakfest was tastey but the food was barely warm and the plates were not cleared as they were used. The staff were very courteous and helpfull.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Wildwood Inn. It was one of the best bed and breadfast places I've been in a long while. But if there was anything to critique it would be that in the dining area where breakfast was served. The door to the kitchen/work area was open and there seem to be no staff around to assist if need be. But all in all it was an enjoyable and restful experience. Staying at the Wildwood Inn was almost like being at home but even nicer. I wished had scheduled my trip so I could stay longer.

The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and clean. Each room is unique. My bridal party and I stayed there for the weekend to get ready for my wedding. We had a blast. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend the Wildwood Inn. A true gem in Denton, Texas!

This was my third time staying at the Wildwood Inn. I adore this place. It is so clean, quiet and beautiful in a fabulous residential setting. It feels like it is my own big mansion. The service is outstanding and the people are so helpful and kind - just like old friends. I will go back any chance I get.

My husband and I had our wedding at the Wildwood Inn on 2/12/12 and I have absolutely no complaints about it. The staff was amazing, particularly our coordinator, Kendra. I had to plan my wedding from out of state and was pretty impressed with how little there was for me to really do or worry about. My husband purchased the Valentine package for me this year. We were so excited about the Wildwood Inn but what a HUGE disappointment. At $75 a plate a certain level of service and food is expected. This failed on both. The service was SO inexperienced and inefficient. I ordered fish, he brought steak, took both of our plates back to the kitchen, we waited at least another 30+ minutes for the correct food. The fish was hot but everything else on both plates was cold. We never saw anyone except our waiter to discuss the situation. Remember, this was Valentines, the dessert was TERRIBLE....really, a cheese course for dessert on Valentines?!?! I was also served warm champagne. The room was ok but when the a/c came on it rocked the ceiling fan over the bed so loudly it woke us up...ALL night. The experience was a complete disappointment and for the HIGH cost of it all...I would NOT recommend it to anyone.

The charming Wildwood Inn offers exceptional quality and a unique alternative to the chain hotels in Denton, Texas. We enjoyed the food at the restaurant and the hot breakfast. We stayed in February, but would like to return in the coming warmer months to take advantage of the pool, which is surrounded by a forrest area. I would definitely recommended the Wildwood to others, especially couples.

We love this place! My husband and I have stayed here twice now, once in Room 13 and once in Room 10. They're both phenomenal, with lots of space and really comfy beds. There's a little kitchenette upstairs where one can make excellent coffee in the mornings. We've only been able to stay on weeknights, so we haven't experienced the "real" breakfast yet. The continental breakfast is adequate. We can't wait to come back!

Our daughter was married at the Wildwood Inn January 3/2012 and we live in Atlanta, Ga. Kendra, and sometimes Courtney, were amazing at offering solutions to questions that were driving me crazy. Kendra would say,"don't worry about.... It's my job to do ....."The list of recommended vendors was extremely helpful and useful - we used Karen Scruggs Photography, A Man and a Woman florists, Captiva Salon and Spa - all beautiful. We had several compliments on the roast beef buffet dinner. Kendra was present to guide us through the rehearsal and wedding - staying in the background, but there when we needed her. Thank you for a beautiful wedding for our daughter.

I had my wedding at the Wildwood Inn last June, and everything was perfect! The wedding planners are excellent! Courtney did such a fantastic job and I didn't have to worry about a thing!!!

When you drive up to the Wildwood Inn you feel like you are staying at someone's personal estate. The inside is just as fabulous when you enter. The decor is warm and inviting and so were the employees. Our room was stunning & romantic and enabled my husband and I to relax. We enjoyed the lovely library and it was very peaceful. The restaurant was not open when we were there, so cannot review that area. Our continental breakfast was fine, but we would have liked homemade danish or more variety. It was a wonderful place to visit.

I rented a posh room from The Wildwood Inn to enjoy a nice break away from it all with my husband. The staff members were extremely helpful and nice. The bathtub was such a nice size (perfect for a fancy bubble bath topped off with fresh flower peddles). The bed was so comfortable, it was hard not to want to spend they day snuggling. When we left to go home I was already planning when we could visit again. I would love to enjoy the pool, but it was far too cold outside. The rooms are reasonably priced, and totally worth the money.

Our first bed and breakfast stay and we were pleasantly surprised. The room was beautiful , spacious and appointed beautifully. When we checked in we were told that our particular room did not have heat. They explained there was a fireplace in the room, and to compensate for our inconvenience they sent a bottle of chilled champaigne and glasses to our room. We were also promised that if we needed extra blankets, to please let them know. As it turned out our room was very comfortable and qute warm, even with the fireplace turned off , despite the chill in the December air. The next morning we had reservations in their dining room for a wonderful Sunday brunch. We will definetly stay here again, and plan to return just to have brunch, or dine in the evening here sometime soon.

One of the most important things I was looking for on my wedding day was as little stress as possible. There are too many stories of brides, grooms, and everyone else too stressed to enjoy what is supposed to be a memorable and special day. The Wildwood and Kendra were wonderful. Everything was taken care of and all we had to do was enjoy ourselves. The venue was gorgeous, the food was excellent, and the staff incredibly friendly and professional.

My wife booked this place for us to stay on my Birthday. It was a very exciting and amazing surprise. The room we stayed in had a beautiful canopy bed. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The jacuzzi tub was big (could probably pass as a small hot tub) and it was so nice for the both of us to be able to sit back and relax in the tub together. The bed was nice and soft. I could have slept in it all day. The breakfast was wonderful, and I would love to come back and eat dinner in their dinning room. If you're looking for an Outstanding, Beautiful, and Quiet Bed and Breakfast, look no further THIS IS THE PLACE!

I would totally recommend this hotel to any out of townees or any people who just want a weekend getaway. Greats rooms and gorgeous decorating. The cleanliness of the hotel was amazing.

My husband and I stayed here the night of our wedding before our honeymoon. We got Room 6 and it was amazingly romantic. We had champagne and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us when we arrived. The fireplace was perfect for a chilly November night. The staff was very attentive and always available. We left on Thanksgiving morning and they were having a lunch that smelled amazing. We wish we could have stayed longer, but we were off on our honeymoon! :)

From the moment I entered the premises, I was in awe. The grounds, front and back, were just beautiful, the Inn itself was amazing, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was exceptional. I have never had such an enjoyable stay! Truly a "5 star" experience.

Everything was good but the restaurant was over priced and the food was not very good. We ate there on Friday evening and my salad was loaded with goat cheese. There was no mention on the menu about goat cheese on the salad. I do not like the taste of it and when I sent it back, the waiter was somewhat irritated that I would not order anything else to eat. Considering the only items ordered were a soup, my husband's main meal (which was drowning in black pepper), 2 coffees and a desert, our bill was extremely high at $68.00. We drank water and did not have any alcoholic beverages either. Breakfast on Saturday was fair. Certainly not the breakfast meal advertised on the website. And on Sunday, the meal was put away by 9:30 because they were too busy preparing for a wedding. Certainly did not know that was going to happen so we ended up eating somewhere else. The room was great. Bed comfortable. Although our room faced the main street, it was very quiet. In fact, the thunderstorm woke us up but once that quieted back down, I only heard the rain. Great atmosphere.

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Wildwood Inn. The room was lovely, modern but cozy in design. We stayed on a Sunday and Monday night so it was nice and quiet. The jacuzzi tub was great and we even got to get in the hot tub for a little bit (although it never quite got up to the temperature it should have). We do wish there had been more healthy options for breakfast including an offer for some warm food like eggs or meat. We mentioned it to the worker at the desk and they said it was just not cost-effective for during the week visitors. Maybe some vouchers could be offered for a local restaurant serving breakfast. It'd be a great way to work with fellow business owners and give the guests a chance to try out a local place. Otherwise, it was a nice stay and we would definitely stay again but on the weekend...especially so we can try the restaurant for dinner and a full breakfast. :)

My stay at the Wildwood Inn was extremely pleasant. The staff was so helpful and kind, and the rooms were beautiful.

I am working my way through each room its seems...haha, but this time we stayed in room 11 and I loved the sweet little private balcony. We enjoyed it in the evening and also having our morning coffee on it. Really I can't say enough about what a great experience it is everytime we stay at Wildwood Inn. Makes me want to be there now!

Our wedding was at The Wildwood Inn and everything about the experience was perfect. Our wedding coordinator, Courtney, did everything for us and made sure that we had no worries on our rehearsal or the day of. I am also happy to be able to say that the dinner at our reception was one of the best meals I've ever had. We have only positive things to say about this staff and venue!

This place is a welcomed retreat from the typical hotels in the area. It was as if you are the only guest, per the service and the peaceful surroundings.

Our room was AMAZING! We have stayed multiple occasions at the Wildwood Inn in Denton, TX and this time was by far the best! The staff was very gracious and the accommodations were beautiful. The beds were extremely comfortable and the towels smelled unbelievably fresh! We cannot wait to return!

Wildwood offerred a serene getaway without the dreaded long drive. The rooms reminded me of a european villa and the overall ambiance was extremely relaxing. My husband and I had a wonderful weekend and I would absolutely recommend staying here.

Every room was decorated differently and lovely and charming and comfortable--our guests were "blown away" by the accommodations. Courtney and her staff couldn't have been nicer. We will return when we visit our daughter and her husband in Denton. The dilemma will be which of the well appointed, lovely rooms to choose!!!

My husband and I had our Rehearsal Dinner at The Wildwood Inn in May. Prior to booking the venue my husband and I had dinner at The Wildwood and looked at several of the rooms to determine if this was the perfect place for us. We were so pleased that I decided to have the bridal party along with my Mom and Grandmother stayed there the night before the wedding. We also stayed there the entire day before the wedding to get ready and have some girl time! The Wildwood has such an intimate and romantic feel that my husband and I stayed there on our wedding night as well. I have redommended this venue to friends as either a venue for an event or just a place to get away for a night with your significant other. Our coordinator was Courtney Adams and we could not have been more pleased with her service and the service of the entire staff. The food was excellent, the rooms are amazing, and the venue was the perfect intimate setting for our Rehearsal Dinner which was about 50 guests. Most have their Rehearsal Dinner at a restaurant, but we wanted to do something different and are so glad we did. Our guest's loved it and it is the perfect place for a wedding, rehearsal dinner, bridal or baby shower, business meeting, or just a night out at a nice restaurant with friends and family!

The Wildwood Inn was incredible! My husband and I stayed there for three nights on our honeymoon, and the rooms were beautiful. The staff was very friendly, and the Sunday Brunch was delicious. We will will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We just returned form our stay at Wildwood. We arrived Sunday and left Monday at 1pm. They had a big wedding on Saturday. The staff was fabulous. We stayed in #5. The tub and bathroom was GREAT! This is the most popular room and the wear and tear showed it. The bed looked lumpy and sunken in in the center. But we chalked it up to the feather bed not being plumped up. The sheets and bedding were great. The pool had not been cleaned out and leaves were in pool and at the bottom of the jaquzzi. They had to turn the jaquzzi from the from desk and no clear instructions were located near the pool. The biggest dissapointment was the breakfast in the morning. It clearly stated continental breakfast but what we got was a breakfast compliments of Costco or Sams Club. breakfast bars - muffins - cereal - yogurt - tea - coffee and the cranberry - orange- apple juice (not fresh). The milk was not on chilled on ice so it was warm for our cereal. We have had better from the Hampton Inn. We were expecting something akin to european breakfast - like the european style hotel. We rate the hotel a 9 but the breakfast a 0. Skip the breakfast and sleep inn.

We are located on 4 ½ acres of wooded property and it is difficult at times to keep the leaves out of the pool and spa no matter how often we skim them. We do clean both the pool and spa on a daily basis. We are in the process of updating our guest rooms, however; it is a work in progress. I apologize that our breakfast was less than satisfactory for you. We do advertise only a continental breakfast Monday through Friday mornings and we discount the rooms for that reason (normally a $259 room on Friday and Saturday is $149 on Sundays – Thursdays). If you are looking for a full hot breakfast prepared by our chef, please join us on a weekend. We do hope you come back and try our hotel again. We have had to stay at the Wildwood Inn twice in the past month due to plumbing problems in our house. I can happily say that I would not stay any other place besides my home or the Wildwood Inn. This is a must stay for anyone coming to Denton.

I didn't really eat there, but gave them a high ranking for dining because I thought this place was spectacular and did not want to hurt their rankings. Only met my expectations on service because I purchased a pretty expensive romance package for me and my wife that included champagne, but no one put champagne glasses in the room.

My mom drove up for a graduation and were quite agitated with the traffic in the last 45 minutes of the drive. We arrived, checked in and immediately went downstairs to sit out sit and just relax. The staff brought us wine and it was the perfect time to spend talking and laughing. It will be a great memory of my mom and me. Thanks, Wildwood

We planned a weekend at Denton, Texas visiting our son who attends North Texas. We stayed at this beautiful Bed and breakfast called the Wildwood Inn. Talk about comfort and relaxation. The staff is wonderful and thefood was very delicious. I liked the pool and the ambiance of it all. I am a runner and the surroundings were great. I hiighly recommend this jewel in Denton, Texas. My boyfriend and I were looking for a secluded spot away from Dallas but still close enough to go into town if we so chose; this was the perfect location for what we were looking for. In a wonderful location close to I35 in Denton, close to my family in Frisco and just close enough to Dallas that you could still enjoy shopping, dining, etc. We will definitely be staying there again when in the area...

I and my 16 year old daughter and 3 of her friends stayed for her Sweet 16 birthday celebration. I have stayed at The Wildwood Inn many times, and this time, as always, was just perfect! The girls felt so special, the breakfast was exceptional, and our whole experience was amazing!

We spent our wedding night at wildwood inn and it was incredible my new husband loved it so much he is trying to create the same feel for our bedroom at home!

This was a quick overnight stay on our way to San Antonio. The room we stayed in was close to the library and front desk and was a little noisy until about 10pm. Everything else the rooms, service, dining, value, cleanliness and value were excellent - can't wait to come back and enjoy the rooms for a longer stay!!!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Wildwood Inn! We were there for a conference at Texas Woman's University - but I found myself thinking about how much MORE I would rather be at the lovely hotel - enjoying the beautiful rooms, dining room, grounds, etc.! the only bad thing: didn't get to spend enough time there! the staff is fabulous - it's quiet, close to everything and literally, a retreat from the craziness of life! This was my second stay at the inn - and I will definitely book again! I recommend it to anyone looking for a blissful escape!

My husband and I were looking for an in-town getaway. This was a great place... Not far from home and really relaxing. I have to say the restaurant was great...and the service was exceptional. This was my first Valentines day with my GF. I am 26, and have been to a few BandB's. This place was more than I expected. The room was amazing, comfortable, and very clean.

We stayed in room nine and it was gorgeous and we felt right at home. The only complaint was the bathtub, it was rather tiny and we couldn't seem to figure out how to use the jets properly. But other than that it the entire experience exceeded my expectations and I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a getaway with their loved one.

Wildwood Inn was spectacular and an incredible treat to have on a business trip. The rooms were warm, inviting and cozy. I want to take a personal trip there again!

My coworkers and I spend 2 nights and 3 day in Denton. The fact that we choose to stay at the B&B truly made for a vacation like work week. The staff at the Wildwood Inn accommodated out needs and provided us with a relaxing stay. The three of us occupied the entire B&B for both night and it had a very homey feel. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful despite be the only three guests. I stayed in room nine which was very calming and roomy. The only downside was the lack of a plush bed, but that was a choice I made in wanting a jet style bath. My coworkers had lovely room a bit smaller in size but very plush beds. If traveling for work I would definitely stay again but I think the room rates are a tad high for personal use and would have to wait for a special occasion since I have family in the area.

Every other year my 5 sisters celebrate our Sisters Xmas in Texas. This is the second time we have done this. I can't tell how much we have enjoyed our stay. It is beautiful and the people there are so accomodating. This year because of so many activities going on while we were there they GAVE us a room we could all gather in and play our usual gin tournament. That was beyond our expectations, and it made our stay there a memorable one. Thank you again Wildwood Inn for helping us make another wonderful memory!

We were guests at The Wildwood Inn after attending a friend's wedding ceremony on New Years Eve 2010. We were so pleased with the decor of the room, the beautiful, luxurious bed and environment of the Inn as a whole.

This was my second time to stay at Wildwood Inn. It is a beautiful Inn, very quite with elegant appointments. The delicious breakfast always exceeds my expectations. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The service and staff were friendly and helpful. The room was charming but a little down at the heel, that is the carpet was dirty and worn and the curtain didn't work very well. We ate one night at the Inn and found the food average at best, but the waitress was very pleasant and friendly. The breakfast included in the price was something we quickly tired of, and went to Starbucks instead. Part of the problem with food was the regional difference; we are used to West Coast healthier food.

We spent our anniversary at Wildwood. We would highly recommend.

We had an afternoon wedding in front of the fireplace in the main dining room. It was awesome. Our coordinator, Courtney, was fantastic, taking care of all the details and logistics. The seasonal decor was wonderful, facilities and staff were exceptional. We stayed overnight following the wedding and had a wonderful time. We would highly recommend the Inn for both functions and the stay. We look forward to celebrating our anniversary here too.

My husband and I were only able to stay one night, but the room was beautiful in every way. We were a little disappointed in the continental breakfast, but the Inn itself is wonderful and we would love to go back again for a longer stay.

When selecting Wildwood we were looking for a secluded environment that was located close to Dallas. Room #9 is well appointed, comfortable, and very romantic. I appreciated the staffs attention to detail as well as their desire to insure your stay is comfortable. Although we were not able to enjoy dinner during our stay, I can say the breakfast was incredibly delicious. We would recommend Wildwood to anyone and will surely return.

My wife and I have 31 years of marriage and as many years of staying in B&B's, lodges and cabins. I can truthfully say the Wildwood Inn is by far the best B&B of our experience. I am still amazed at the cleanliness of our room (#9), the tremendous friendliness of the staff (it wasn't a "put on" for guests) the great rates, WOW, the quiet hallways and the deliberate romantic ambience the moment we walked into our room. I got married at the wildwood October 23rd 2010 and it was everything I wanted and more. The service was above and beyond and the food was fabulous. We got tons of compliments on the food by our guests. We stayed 2 nights and loved our room and view. We plan to go back for a weekend get away very soon. I've stayed in Denton many times, at dreary I-35 hotels while visiting my UNT student son. On a whim I decided to stay at The Wildwood on impulse, and hit the highway with my teenage daughter. We loved the country-inn aesthetic, it felt like we were miles away from the town of Denton, and yet we were right off I-35. Beautiful architecture, nice rooms (we stayed in the least expensive, and it was still large and beautiful.) Huge, deep bathtub and very nice complementary breakfast buffet, and a DVD player built into the large TV made it a great mother/daughter escape.

I just spent three days at Wildwood and leave feeling pampered and rested. The beds are great, the staff friendly and responsive, and the quiet is like a soft blanket. Thank you.

If you are looking for a Sunday brunch...this is the place. The selection is great and tastes wonderful. The dining room is beautiful and comfortable. Service was spot on! Brandon Stephens took care of us quickly and with ease. He made the experience that much better.

My daughter selected The Wildwood Inn in Denton as her location for the wedding ceremony, reception and reserved all the rooms for her out-of-town guests. Since she was living in San Francisco at the time, I made most of the smaller decisions and planning for her big day. She moved to Texas five days before the wedding, arrived in the DFW area two days ahead and delivered most of our accessories at the rehearsal the day before. On the day of the wedding, our guests filled all the rooms, the photographer arrived, the staff started turning over from the morning wedding to our evening event with practiced ease. I entered the dining room to find it completely transformed! Lisa was in full charge and only had a few questions for me. The evening went perfectly and I was able to really enjoy our guests, the delicious food and the perfect surroundings. I think it was the perfect venue for a "small" wedding. We had 60 guests. I could not have asked for anything more. Thank you!

We stayed in room 5 this time, we had stayed in room 13 before and had planned to again. The AC went out in that room and they offered all of the available comparable or better rooms as an option to us. We were just happy to have a place to stay and be away from home for our anniversary. The room was great, the bed was comfortable, the service was with a smile, and the rate was worth it. If you are looking for a romantic home away from home, the wildwood inn is an excellent choice.

We always stay at B&Bs or boutique inns when traveling. Our stay at Wildwood Inn was wonderful - just not long enough. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and well appointed with French antiques and reproductions. The bathroom was a like visiting a spa with a two person jetted tub facing a double-sided fireplace. It also had a seperate shower and antique marble top vanity. The setting of the Inn is peaceful, nestled amoung the trees on over 4 acres. Yet it is close to all activites of Denton's downtown square and two universities.

The service was amazing and the room was so luxurious! It was the perfect place to spend an evening of peaceful relaxation.

In January of this year my daughter and I visited the Wildwood Inn as a possible Vendor for her wedding. It was a cold, rainy day in Denton but this did not stop us from falling in LOVE with this unbelievable B&B. From the very beginning Courtney our event coordinator at the Wildwood was incredible as well as the entire staff. The wedding took place on 9/25 and it was a true fairy tale come true...Perfection. The food is wonderful and I promise will satisfy your appetite. We rented the entire Inn for the wedding and rooms as well...this was AWESOME....the rooms are simply divine and immaculate and beautifully decorated..I could live here! Whether you live in the metroplex and want a weekend or night get-a-way, in town for business, ballgame, etc.. host a party, wedding, shower or just dine at one of their fabulous dinners or brunch..don't miss this magical place. The staff was gracious. The restaurant was excellent; and easily accommodated any dietary needs. My room was lovely, spacious and most importantly, spotless. I truly enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to any of my friends or work colleagues traveling through, or staying in the Denton, TX area.

We stayed the night in one of the second story suites. The room was very nice, a great balcony and bathtub. The restaurant has great fine dinning. This is a great romantic place to take your loved one.

We were in town to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday, and they were located close to where we needed to be. The atmosphere is elegant, yet cozy and warm. The room was exactly as presented on website. They obviously cater to wedding parties and we appreciated the personalized agenda of what services were available for the two days we were there. It was informative and nice to have. We actually preferred the cold breakfast bar on Friday to the hot breakfast available on Saturday. The hot breakfast was a bit too rich and they quickly accommodated with some granola. We did not eat an evening meal there as we had other plans. It was a very nice accommodation and a nice change from the hotel rooms.

It was hard to believe that a place just a few blocks off of I-35 could be so peaceful and quiet. The Wildwood feels more like a large home than a hotel with its living room rather than a lobby. The staff is very accomodating and friendly. The lunch was fantastic.

It was very relaxing and so much more than I was expecting. The grounds are beautiful and the rroms are 5 star. I will definitely go back again.

My wife and I have stayed at the Wildwood Inn for our last three anniversaries, and we are quickly making it our anniversary get-away spot! The staff is friendly and helpful, and requests are easy to make and we havn't had any problems when we make some requests (a cheese board delivered to the room is especially nice :). I highly recommend a stay at this great get-away hidden in Denton. And no, I'm not a staff plant just making a good review - we really like staying there. It's especially fun when you take the time to read through the journal in each room - past occupants have written their notes and memories, and it is always interesting.

Loved this inn from the moment we pulled up in the tree covered driveway that was almost hidden from the road. I reserved Room 3 (downstairs) as a surprise for my husband on our 4 year anniversary and was pleasantly surprised myself when they upgraded us to Room 10 (upstairs). The room was very clean, spacious, romantically lit, and well decorated. Unfortunately, we had already had plans to go out to eat for dinner so we didn't get the opportunity to dine at the four star restaurant they have in house. We did walk through it to get to the back patio (designated smoking area...maybe one day my husband will quit) and it was very nice just like the rest of the house. We also missed breakfast in the morning due to the bed being so comfortable we slept straight through. The back yard was beautiful, however the pool could have used a little more maintenance and we decided that we would not be swimming. Even still, over all this wonderful inn was very well worth every penny spent. We had an amazing time and plan on returning in the future! Everything is impeccably clean, and I am very selective about cleanliness. We've stayed there 4 times and eaten dinner there twice. The food is always delicious and beautifully-presented. this was our second time to stay at the wildwood. obviously we liked it enough to go back, but we took advantage of a special they had at the time. the "normal" prices seem a little high to me, especially considering the breakfast is rather lackluster. but the rooms are nice, the beds are comfy, and other than having no hot water at 9 pm when i wanted to take a bath, the tubs are great.

My daughter and I stayed at the Wildwood Inn recently for a couple of nights. Our room was beautiful with very comfortable beds, and although we didn't take advantage of it, the pool area is a beautiful oasis. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I'd recommend it highly.

This place is a gem. It's big enough that you don't feel like you are staying in someone's house like a B&B and has more of an upscale boutique hotel feel. The hospitality was wonderful and we found it to be a very serene, comforting and pretty place to stay. The food was really delicious too. We had dinner there one evening and it was absolutely first class. I loved the Sunday brunch and the daily continental was really good too -loved the homemade granola. It's situated in a handy location and close by a nice place to walk along the waterway where we encountered unbelievably a flock of Canadian Geese! (we're from Canada). They do host a lot of weddings there (understandably, it's perfect for that) but it never interfered with our enjoyment of the place. I would highly recommend it and wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else when visiting the area.

We went on a deep discount offer and were able to stay in one of the nicest suites for a song. Lovely room, delightful view overlooking the pool. The free wi-fi was sub par, but the bed was comfortable, and the jacuzzi tub a nice touch. The only disappointment was the rather limited continental breakfast, though I'm told if we stayed during the weekend, there is a hot breakfast from a professional. Overall great place and a delightful stay.

I came here for a quiet get away and I definitely felt pampered. I felt like I was worlds away from everything, from the drive up to the beautiful back yard, everything had such a European feel. My absolute favorite was the jet bathtubs, so relaxing I believe I spent 3 hours in the tub one morning! My only concern was you wouldn't feel "private" with a spouse because inside the rooms you can hear everything in the hallway. But my room was right off the main hallway, probably better upstairs. It is also close to downtown Denton and lots of restaurants. They had a library of free movies which was nice and the beds were very comfortable to sleep in. I really enjoyed my stay! :)

What a delightful place...who would think there was such a sanctuary in Denton Texas! Perfectly decorated, quiet and quaint amongst a wooded setting. I stayed there on a business trip so was unable to experience the dining. Continental breakfast a step above! I will go back!

We were greeted by a very helpful staff. When they found out it was our anniversary they upgraded our room, which was a pleasant surprise. The facility was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Due to a wedding event the pool was not available but the staff advised us by email in advance so it was not a problem. We requested some information and Taylor went out of her way to locate a local business for us, printed our a map quest search and provided the phone number. On our next trip to the Denton area we will absolutely make reservations at Wildwood.

I surprised my husband with a night away for Father's Day, and boy was he surprised. Everything from the matress to the jaccuzzi tub were perfect. Our waiter, Dustin, was very helpful and sweet. Very great service. We called down to the desk twice for ice, and it was at our door in less than 4 minutes. Taelor was very sweet and courteous. I so enjoyed my stay at Wildwood Inn. Their staff were very friendly and responsive and the room beautifully decorated and peaceful. I will absolutely recommend this location to my friends and family.

We arrived Friday night and checkin was fast and easy. Went to the room to drop-off our luggage and noticed that AC was set to cool to 78 degrees only. Tried to adjust it, but thermostat would not take our setting. Asked for help and attendant changed it to 70. Went down to dinner - restaurant is known to us, but this time was unsatisfactory. Wait staff is unexperienced and we felt uncomfortable with them. My husband had the salad with grilled lobster; the leaves were brown and wilted. Talked to waiter - he came back and told us that when they grill the salad, it will turn a little brown. Hey, we are not talking about a little grilled - we are talking about rotting!!! Otherwise the food was good (my husband had the pork tenderloin and I had the duck breast, which was exceptionally good). After dinner we sent to the room and noticed that the thermostat was at 76 degrees. So the whole time we were at dinner it only cooled down by 2 degrees. Then we went to the pool, which was great - very refreshing since it is in a shaded area. The surrounding is very peaceful and we could hardly even hear noise from the street. We stayed for over an hour hoping the time would be enough to cool down the room. I came in first and the temperature only went down to 75 degrees. No matter what we did, we could not cool the room below 75 degrees - only finally at 4 AM it started to cool down. It was very, very uncomfortable! Get this fixed - Hello - this is Texas and it is summer!!!! We have to really think hard about going back there and we only live about 10 minutes away! Really sad!

We do our best to make sure each room and our entire facility is in perfect working condition before our guest arrive but please understand that planning for a broken AC is out of our control. However we usually have the ability to upgrade our guest to another room or definitely have our 24-hour AC repair service called immediately. Please remember we cannot meet your needs if you do not voice your concerns and any issues that happen during your stay. I think that in this particular case our front desk clerk thought the problem was solved since we did not hear back from this guest the rest of the night. It is very important to us that you are happy and comfortable and leave with good memories. We also appreciate your constructive criticism on our wait staff and will work hard to ensure they are properly trained. Again thank you for your time in voicing your concerns. The place is very lovely! The staff is very friendly. It was the perfect place for my ladies and I to get pretty before my wedding. We checked out room 14 for this occasion and I'm glad we did. We needed the space for the make-up artists, hair stylists, and room for all of the ladies. It was a very relaxing and fun time before the big moment, and I know the room and atmosphere helped that. My husband and I thought that breakfast that Monday morning would be the same time that it was on Sunday morning. When we went down to eat the staff member was cleaning everything up and explained that breakfast had ended. She then told us that she would bring all the stuff back out for us that was left. That made our morning! We had a long drive ahead of us and we were looking forward to this breakfast. We were so thankful for her kindness. Thank you for making our stay wonderful and beautiful! The room was beautiful and the tub was nice. There was a wedding going on so we were not able to enjoy the dining and the outside patio area. We did go out to a resteraunt recommended by the hotel that was outstanding. Hannah's off the square in Denton was a little pricey but the food was very good. We stayed in the square and just walked around till about 10pm and headed back to the room. The wedding was done and the music had stopped for the reception. All in all the stay was very nice and I would like to go back at a later date to try the dining and another on of the rooms. We stayed in room 5 and liked it very much.

I booked the one two-bed room at the Wildwood Inn so I could spend time with a Chinese friend who's living in the Denton area and working as an au pair girl. She was able to get an afternoon and one night off, and I wanted to treat her to a special get-away, a kind of retreat. I picked up my friend and we got dinner to go from Jason's Deli, planning to picnic at the Wildwood Inn and then go back out so she could get a haircut and buy a few needed items. The tree-lined pool area (a kind of backyard) was so peaceful and lovely, though, and the room so comfortable and quiet that my friend decided we'd just stay in for the evening and keep talking and catching up. Ours was one of only two rooms rented that night, so we had the sense of being the only people in this beautiful home-like setting. There was no noise, no coming and going, and my friend felt quite pampered. Neither of us used the whirlpool bath or the pay-as-you-go luxury items in the basket in the room, but we did appreciate these nice touches.

We have been staying at the Wildwood Inn for over 6 years. It is ALWAYS such a treat to stay in one of the uniquely decorated rooms. We have enjoyed every visit. The Wildwood Inn is the complete package, beautiful rooms, outstanding service and staff, and breakfast is a meal to be savored.

I stayed in room #2. Wasn't sure what to expect from a B&B in Denton, but I had an exceptionally comfortable and luxurious room, beautifully decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room cleanliness was immaculate. The small touches here mean I would never stay anywhere else in Denton (such as the visitor book for each room, or the library). The staff is extremely polite and efficient with every request. The hot breakfast on the weekends has excellent variety and is of top quality. I never wanted to leave.
