Inn Details
The Landmark Inn State Historic Site, operated by the Texas Historcial Commission, is located in Castroville, Texas which is a National Historic Landmark District. The Inn continues a 155 year Texas tradition of offering respite to weary travelers on the Camino Real de las Tejas Trail and the San Antonio-El Paso Road.
As our guest, you can also become part of that Texas tradition, by staying in one of six spotlessly clean, comfortable rooms. All rooms are air conditioned, and in keeping with the historic theme of the site, there are no telephones or televisions. Overnight guests may help themselves the next morning to Alsatian style pastries as well as coffee and tea from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Government rates are offered to state employees.
As a guest at the historic site, you may also enjoy interpretive tours of the site and visit the museum, historic gristmill and enjoy access to six acres along the Medina River.
The Landmark Inn State Historic Site is located 23 minutes west of the Riverwalk in San Antonio.
