As usual, our stay at Rainbow Hearth was a relaxing and enjoyable experience with healthy tasty food and therapeutic massages. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

Rainbow Hearth is the perfect place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and unwind. You don't have to worry about a thing...just show up and the accomodating staff takes care of the rest. Regardless of what room or cabin you choose, each location had its own unique, breathtaking view. Not to mention, additional views of sunrise, sunset, and Lake Buchanan are within just a short walk. The healthy, fresh, chef-prepared meals were fantastic. We enjoyed lounging on the deck at the lake house, hiking, kayaking, sitting on the front porch, and excessive napping! All of this with our two dogs. The bodywork was the icing the cake! It was so peaceful sitting on the front porch and listening to the wind chimes. We can't wait to come back!

Do not come here expecting luxury or convenience. This place has one mission only and that is to let yourself unwind. The rooms are very clean with super nice beds. There are no kitchen appliances at all so we brought a cooler with us to keep our food chilled. The meals are timely and nutritious and you can go back for seconds if needed. The property is well tended to but again not luxurious. It could even be considered rugged for those who rarely venture off the sidewalks. I was a little disappointed with medicine rock - perhaps my mindset wasn't right - not the property's fault. We did bring two dogs with us and they were welcomed with open arms. I also thought the lake which was only 30% full was a little depressing but there is still abundant wildlife if you pay attention. We opted for the treatment package and it was ok I guess - had better and much worse massages. Overall if you are just looking for a short term respite, Rainbow Hearth is definitely worth a visit.

My husband and I went to Rainbow Hearth Sanctuary for his birthday. It was perfect, the quiet, the community at meal times, the body work-Oh My! and the time to celebrate and re-connect. Thank you to everyone at Rainbow Hearth! We look forward to coming back again soon.

We stayed at Rainbow Hearth over the Valentina's Day weekend, and wish we could have stayed longer. Beautiful, spotlessly clean room; soothing views of water and of hillside; only the gentle wind chimes and birdsongs to contrast with total peace; kind, cheerful staff, and visionary owner; altogether it is totally unpretentious and accepting. Yes, this IS a sanctuary! We opted for all meals and body work, and are so glad we did.

I have traveled to many 5 star resorts around the world and non compares to the quality of food, service and accommodations at Rainbow Hearth. It is heaven on earth! The extra touches such as dimmer reading lights above each side of the bed, and the Sleep Number mattress is incredibly comfortable. The level of care and attention given to every guest is beyond compare. The body work with Mariah should not be missed.

Mariah is an absolute gem. My husband and I stayed in the treehouse yurt for part of our honeymoon and he was sick with the flu. Mariah was so kind when we met her and suggested several teas to help him out, gave us a free breakfast (including her homemade smoothies), found a tray so I could bring it up to him in bed, and just made us feel so taken care of. We loved the food, too! It was healthy, organic, and so tasty. It inspired me to go to Whole Foods and take better care of myself since I felt so good there. And I couldn't get enough of the water, there, either. They purify their own rain water! You wouldn't think it makes a difference, but it does. I felt so in tune with nature and myself, and a short walk up to Medicine Rock helped with that, too. It has a strong spiritual energy, and even though I am not religious, I felt very comfortable, safe, and cared for when I went there to seek guidance about my new marriage. The area is beautiful and peaceful. We loved being in the woods and our yurt was secluded and quiet. We loved having our own two-person tub in our little bathhouse. It was just wonderful and we plan to come back for many anniversaries!
