The grounds are beautiful, the property a dream. Special touches in all the rooms with a wonderful tasty breakfast served daily. Attention to the guests was always very accomodating. Would reccomend this B&B to anyone looking for a special place to stay while visiting Brenham TX. Rutilo and Margaret Lopex

My mother and I stayed in the Carriage House over Christmas in 2007 and it was like a family visit. Steve and Linda had relatives in town and we just kinda joined in the festivities. Prime rib on Christmas Eve and a wonderful spread for Christmas Dinner made this far more than a typical Bed and "Breakfast". Not that Steve's breakfasts weren't the best we've had. Since it was December, we did not have a chance to enjoy the pool or the outdoor fireplace, but we enjoyed exploring the grounds during the day and looking at the lights at night. I've had B&B all around the world but have never had such a wonderous combination of hospitality, food, and surroundings as I found here. I wish I could find a reason to go to Brenham more often. Cheers, Charles Watkins, Horseshoe Bay

This place was very relaxing and romantic. We stayed in the "Star" room. In the moring we had champagne and orange juice on our own balcony after eating a delicious breakfast. At night we went down to the tucked away hot tub and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. I would go back for sure and recommend it to others. On our next trip we are going to have other couples come so we can enjoy using the outside kitchen for a afternoon cook out at the pool.

My husband and I recently stayed two nights in the Pool House Suite II, and it was fabulous! The bed was heavenly (wish we could have taken it home with us) and the deep, two-person Jacuzzi whirlpool with a never-ending supply of HOT water was wonderfully relaxing. The lighting in the bedroom and in the Jacuzzi area are controlled by dimmer switches, so you can create a very romantic mood, if desired, and the room includes a small spa oil pkg specifically for use in the whirlpool, so leave the candles and spa oils at home (can't use them anyway - B&B policy). Also, we did experience a minor glitch with the a/c during our stay, but Steve was so attentive to us and ensured that the problem was fixed promptly. He also gave us a discount on the room for our inconvenience. We have already recommended this B&B to many friends and family and can't wait to stay there again!!

    A wonderful stay

This place is fabulous! They haven't updated their pictures online, and I can tell you the "blue room" has a beautiful 4-poster (not that white wicker). We stayed for 2 nights and were sad to leave. The breakfasts were wonderful! The couple who owns this place is so nice and will talk to you forever about things to do in the area. The place is incredibly clean, the beds are huge and wonderful, they are developing the grounds and it is fantastic, they have a fun flavia coffee machine, and free soda. Then to top it off, a few weeks after we got home, we got a gift certificate from them good for a night's stay anytime through Dec. 2008! I have recommended them to all my friends and we'll be back there soon as well. I doubt there's a better value for your money anywhere.
