My wife and I were looking for a ranch type setting to celebrate our 11 year anniversary. the Hideaway Ranch hit the spot. We have never stayed here before. It was a short drive from Dallas - but felt like a world away. Our view from the Hacienda cabin was magnificent - not a road or building in sight as far as the eye can see. The property is expansive - we hiked for a couple of hours and enjoyed seeing all of the wildlife and livestock. What a wonderful way to recharge - so close to DFW. We will definitely return.

This was our 4th visit in 3 years. We love the ranch! The rooms are always clean and comfortable. When you visit, you are welcomed by Roscoe, the "one dog welcome committee", horses, goats, cats, llamas, etc! Traci and Jason make you feel like you are family! They share their entire homestead and assume that you will care for it like they do. Hopefully everyone does! Most times we have never run into another guest during our whole trip! So, you can certainly GET AWAY if that is what you are after! We love that you can sit out under the stars in a hot tub, grill a nice meal, and never have to worry about being disturbed OR disturbing anyone else! We enjoyed fishing in the tank this trip too! Every cabin is perfect! We love that we can plan our meals to cook at the ranch and not have to go back to town all weekend if we don't want too. Keep up the good work guys! We are looking forward to seeing what you are adding to the place the next time we come out!

We love the Hideaway. It is a wonderful getaway not far from Dallas. Each cabi...n is secluded and has a hot tub. Our 5 yr old loves the hiking trail, scavenger hunt, old west town, llamas and more. We even bring our dogs so the whole family gets to have a great vacation together. My husband and I got engaged here.

My husband and I have had the oppertunity to stay at The Hideaway Ranch twice, we have enjoyed the peacefullness both times. Traci and Jason are gracious host. They always make you feel right at home and will try their best to get you everything you need. You dont need much though just a bathing suit, hiking shoes and a change of clothes or two. We have enjoyed a great breakfast basket with farm fresh eggs and longhorn burgers. We plan to go back every chance we get. Leilani and Larry Fikes

We spent another anniversary at Hideway Ranch. In a word, AWESOME. Had a great relaxing time and we will be back again next year. Thank you for keeping it simple. Dont chnage. I think we will start having anniversaries at least twice a year just so we can come enjoy Hideway Ranch.
