We never expected to find a nice quiet BB along this side of Lake Travis. But this place is very secluded and rustic. About the only noises are the birds. Juan only brayed as we left! We did not come for the donkeys, and thought they might be noisy, but found them very enjoyable. We rated the cleanliness as outstanding because even the grill was spotless!

It's a very relaxing, charming place. The donkeys are a pleasure to watch. So is the other wildlife such as the roadrunner. Shopping and dining are easy to get to. Lake Travis is not far. It's a great place to go to relax.

We fell in love with "The Bed Rox" the minute we walked in. It was all decorated for Christmas and felt so warm and welcoming. The outdoor area is private and spacious. It has chairs and a table that are perfect for having our children and grandchildren over to play outside. Inside and alone we sat and enjoyed a fire and listened to music. Wonderfully decorated and filled with wonderful books! It's a true Hill country experience. This is where we want to be when we visit Austin. Roxann is wonderful.

Our stay was very quiet, the cabin was small but cozy, our only disappointment was our breakfast. Muffins, cookies & Sunny D are really just a continental offering at a Motel. A healthy variety for our 3 day stay would have made our stay great, instead of just good.
