Imagine a Victorian turn of the century home with wide verandas, gardens and fountains and a gracious hostess who was so helpful she made sure I ate breakfast even though I needed to get to work well before her scheduled meal. Lovely!

This was our second 4-night stay here. This is a comfortable, friendly place fairly close to the University of Texas in a beautiful neighborhood. There are several restaurants within walking distance.

This is a real Gem. A classic 100 year old place that gave me the feeling that I stepped back in time - I have stayed there three times and in two of the 3 ( I think ) rooms that they have and they were both great - very private, and great beds,... read more
