Roli's Bed & Breakfast

Hi my name is Mike and my wife and I recently stayed at the yellow room and had a blast.the only thing I I forgot to pack was the fishing rod for the lake. The view was wonderful and the service was awsome and very helpful. My wife enjoyed the Massage so much that she wants to go back and stay a little longer next time we go, which is hopefully soon. Was a really relaxing experience. We felt like we were alone in the house. Very restful.

We recently stayed at the bed and breakfast and we not thrilled with the room. For what we paid we could have stayed at the Ritz Carlton instead we had smelly sheets, a small balcony and the room was stuffy. I will say that they have a great photographer for there website because the rooms do no justice the photos. There was a language barrier which made it hard to get what we needed. The hot tub they have, we had to turn on and heat ourselves and it took 3 hours to heat. The next day when we went to use the hot tub it was drained. The breakfast was very minimal and they took every opportunity to charge us for upgrades. One night the bedroom was super cold and the next it was hot. I would not recommend staying here and am positive we won't be back.

My wife and I spent July 4 2010 weekend at Roli's. It was a wonderful experience. Clean and exquisite environment and wonderful hosts. Rolando was wonderful. Thanks for my first ever boat ride.

My husband and I are avid B&B'ers, we love the feeling of walking into the home & feeling at home. If you are an avid B&B'er, this will make alot of sense...Don't expect the delicious breakfast included, afternoon tea, or evening receptions you generally find at your B&B stays. The prices per night seemed reasonable for your typical B&B inclusions, however, this isn't your typical B&B. The Lake Front B&B has been beautifully renovated and the rooms are very nice. Common areas are gorgeous-and the view is spectacular. Roli's seems to be geared toward a party crowd. We had no problem telling who was & who was NOT having a good get away that weekend. (unfortunately) Be prepared to bring ear plugs if you like to sleep before mid-night. And if you intend to sleep in late-make sure you bring a mask for your eyes-no drapes. We didn't order any of the additional services or meals they offered, for additional prices, we had reservations elsewhere each day & night. But, the food did smell wonderful-however, it also smelled wonderful for hours after cooking. The previous reviews are correct, it is better if you can communicate in Spanish, but Esmerelda will try hard to understand your question-and she is extremely nice. We assume she is a housekeeper-we never saw the owners during our stay. Make SURE you have a reliable vehicle! The parking is awful limited and portions of the road (which is all behind the homes) are terrible. So-all in all, if I was in my 20's or 30's and single looking for an awesome view & terrific party house get away-Roli's B&B would take the cake. For a relaxing catch up on sleep, eat a delectable breakfast, relax and enjoy the waterfront peace type of get away, not so much.

This bed and breakfast was beautiful, it met all of our expectations. The service was great and everything was kept up nicely. Will definently go back!

We would have been satisfied with our stay at Roli's B&B if we had paid half the price we paid. The house was under construction at the time of our stay, something that was not mentioned on the Roli's website. The room was tidy but had a dirty feeling to it with stained carpets and sticky patio floors and counter surfaces. The towels were also stained and the water was very silty. The Roli's website stated that each room included wifi access, robes, a hot tub on the deck and that the property had a game room. None of these things were available for our stay. The purpose of our trip was to find somewhere to rest and relax, somewhere to be still- but all we could think about when we were at Roli's was where we could go to escape! I would not recommend a stay here until construction is finished and improvements are made.

Invoice: 324 enjoyed layout of room & view. it was challenging to get assistance due to language barrel. smell of the bedding & the towels...very very stuffy. appeared to be clean but had a strong mildew smell. Exp:upon arrival, I washed my face & hands. Afterward I smelled like the towels as if it was my perfume. the keeper didn't seem to understand. She called someone who help us find Wal-Mart to purchase sheets, towels & pillow cases. Other issue clothing rack broke ,bugs in the windows of the bathroom, press the volume button on the TV it defaults from DVD to TV & no remote nor any cable so we purchase a DVD player to enjoy the TV. I really wished I had the chance to meet the owner to resolve these issues & concerns. we never wanted distrub owner out due to family emergency assumed cost thinking that the owner would graciously resolve our concerns upon her return. Owner: The language barrier, has usually not been a problem with guests, mainly because I am on site. weekend was the exception, my absence due to a family emergency. I apologize any inconveniences. the smell of towels & bedding, we use perfumed softener to make sure this does not happen. Due to the fortunate fact we are busy constantly with visiting guests, we rotate all of our towels & bedding frequently. We don't store for more than 1 or 2 days. The hanger, we will make sure that is more sturdy. The bugs, our facilities are cleaned on a daily basis. The TV, was not meant for use. I have asked before my departure to make sure thay remove it from the room, we do not advertise nor do we offer TV sets in any of the rooms. Soo, as you can see the owner agreed that her staff did not perform as advised but she wasn’t willing to compensate us for our dissatisfaction nor extra expenses due to her staff’s inability to resolve this issue. So if you stay at this inn, pack your own sheets, towels & robes or expect to smell like mildew.

It is nice to be there over the weekend. The place is situated close to the tip of the lake. Very modern and contemporary place. The jacuzzi outside was very relaxing. I wish they had a better selection for free Continental breakfast. Contended with the place. Might go there again.

We really enjoyed our stay, but I really wish that the person in charge at this place spoke english. The food was good, the room was really nice. All in all, we would go back, and refer this place to our friends and family. It is worth every penny.

Me and my husband stayed here for our 5 year anniversary over the weekend. We had so much fun the blue room has a very luxurious and modern contemporary feel to it. The innkeepers were very nice and went out of the way to make sure our stay was wonderful. The rooms have amazing views.

Wow, words can not express my experience here. We had just gotten married and did not have much time off so we decided on a quick one-night "honeymoon" here in Austin. We chose Roli's because it was in town and affordable. We were pleasantly surprised with the set up. It is state-of the-arts mixed with a little bit of private-cabin-on-the-lake. The decor is unbelievable. I was pleased withthe quality of everything and the attention to details from the linens to the marble and tile and the color coordination of the rooms, the view of the lake, the music,...I could go on and on. The ambience was so relaxing yet also fun. I told the proprietor that his website did not do the place justice. You have to see it to believe it. And the service was very casual yet professional. We were even given a complimentary bottle of wine with some fruit and cheeses. I don't think we would have gotten that anywhere else (without seeing it on our bill!). And it is not just for "honeymooners". The place is set up to accommadate business trips, weekend get-a-ways, and almost any other type of gathering. I have already recommended this place to co-workers, family, and friends. It is so wonderful to know that a place like this exists, right here in Austin. I can't wait till my anniversary and I am definetly going back, if not sooner.
