Carrington's Bluff

Enjoy the peacefulness on an acre of tree-covered bluff in the heart of Austin. This 1877 English country house was part of an original homestead of the Republic of Texas. Inside you'll find rooms filled with English and American antiques, accented with English country fabrics and decor. Outside, the spacious porch invites you to linger under gentle breezes rustling through a 500-year old native oak. A few minutes away you'll discover The University of Texas, our State Capital, parks, museums, fine shopping, excellent restaurants, and Austin's famous Sixth Street. Phoebe Williams, the innkeeper, takes pride in offering a full range of the convenient services and amenities found in luxury hotels, but always with the warmth and hospitality B&B's are known and loved for. After a stay at Carrington's Bluff, you'll feel like you have been to the country even though you never left the city.
