Austin Hyde Park Inn

My husband and I just spent two nights this weekend at the Hyde Park Inn. The room was spotless and beautiful. Jennifer was a gracious hostess who prepares the most delicious breakfasts. We so enjoyed relaxing on the veranda outside our room on the second floor. We will definitely stay again in the future!

We stayed at the Austin Hyde Park Inn for our wedding night. We had an afternoon wedding and wanted to be able to check into our room early and our hosts at the Hyde Park Inn were very accommodating. The whole house was beautiful, the bed was comfortable and we were finally able to simply relax in our room. The next morning we enjoyed a fantastic breakfast included with the room. The next time we are staying in the area we plan to come visit the Hyde Park Inn again.

Our first visit to Austin and this made our trip! Jennifer was a perfect hostess and a wonderful cook! My husband couldn't get enough! We had a bad experience of a B&B in Cape Cod so my husband wasn't to thrilled to stay at another one. This one was well worth it! Beautiful rooms, clean, modern conveniences, but with the charm of the 1800's. My husband has no problem going back and neither do I! WE WILL BE BACK!!!!

Everything you want a B & B to be! Elegant period decor, friendly hosts, great porches to relax on, and outstanding breakfasts. Located in a very quaint, tree-lined neighborhood with easy accessibility to all points in Austin.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The room was immaculate and very private. Breakfast was delicious.

Such a peaceful place, low key, and relaxing. We came in a day early for a wedding weekend and decided to stay at a B&B before heading to the Barton Creek Resort and Spa. Now we wished we'd stay at Hyde Park Inn the whole time!! Incredible breakfast with great conversations with other guests who gave insight into other sites to see. Jennifer and her husband have a great, comfortable home. Breakfasts are wonderful-- gourmet quality. Stayed in the Cabana room, King bed, with sofa, great bath. It was too cold for the pool, but it was beautiful. Don't miss this B&B!

Rooms, service and food were excellent. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.

My husband and I were in Austin to enjoy the scenery, springtime and great food. Hyde Park Inn gave us a relaxing, beautiful place to stay. We stayed in one of the upstairs rooms with a king size bed and it was beautifully furnished and had access to a veranda to read and take a nap. The food and the grounds were great. I'd love to go back again.

Hyde Park Inn looks like a restoration, but is all new. No rust, leaks, mildew, chemical residue. Plenty of lighting and outlets for 21st Century life. The shade on the veranda is cool and perfect for catching up on email, sipping wine, or a nap. Breakfast was superb, thanks to Jennifer. The pool is perfect for refreshing and relaxing, not aerobic workout. Great location - quiet, walking distance from many stores and restaurants, still easy access to freeways. Can't imagine it being any better.

With my first ever stay at a B&B, I think Hyde Park Inn has spoiled me for good! After searching for a quiet getaway B&B for days, disappointed by the cliche decor (either pastel tapestries and quilts or over-the-top western theme) I stumbled upon the HPI website. The rooms and public spaces were elegant and beyond my expectations. Breakfast was great and Jeniffer was a perfect hostess! I can't wait for a return trip!

We loved our stay at the Austin Hyde Park Inn. The house is gorgeous and immaculate. The rooms are extraordinary and the breakfast was excellent (one of the main things we look for in a B&B). We will definately stay there on our next visit to Austin.

It would be too difficult to keep this place a secret. This is the best bed & breakfast by far! The house and all its details are beautifully done. The bedding was exceptional, and Jennifer, the owner would put any top chef to shame when it came to breakfast time. I can't wait to return! Jeanne

I'm in love with this place! The moment you open the front gate, you can feel it. It is so inviting. My husband and I had the Cabana room which is on the first floor. It has a door that leads either into the dining room our out to the pool and hot tub WITH an outside shower. We plan on going back so we can take advantage of the pool, it was too cold while we where there. Jennifer, the owner, was so sweet. She cooked a full breakfast both mornings we where there and both meals where amazing! My husband, who is a chef, had nothing but praises to say about her cooking. Oh and the house, it's so beautiful. But it doesn't feel old and fragile. The house has such character. Our bed by the way, was the most comfortable bed I've slept on in quite some time! Love this place and highly recommend it to everyong! It's close to downtown Austin in cute funky neighborhood.

My husband and I took a mini-vacation last weekend to Austin and decided we wanted to stay in a B&B, neither of us ever have. I chose Hyde Park Inn because it looked to be a nice place and the reviews where good. I was blown away at how wonderful this place truly is. The house is geourgous. Jennifer Rochelle is the nicest person you could meet and so accomidating. The bed was so comfortable I woke up feeling amazing. The house was clean and comfortable. Jennifer makes an amazing breakfast in the morning and the coffee was better than Starbuck! We love this place and plan on going back. I don't have one thing bad to say about this place. If you are going to Austin and want to stay somewhere besides a boring hotel....go to Hyde Park Inn. You will not be sorry.

We were a group of Ten Birthday Well Wishers for a 50 year bash and this location was ideal. The wrap around veranda was a great delight to a late night outside party. You can not go wrong with this pick!

We weren't sure what to expect, but this lovely hotel exceeded our expectations. A beautiful, completely redone Victorian in the peaceful, funky neighborhood north of campus, it's within an easy walk (or bus ride) of restaurants, coffee shops and the University. Our innkeeper made us fresh scones and recommended the wine bar a few blocks over; both were high quality. We didn't get to swim in the pool (it was near Christmas) but we enjoyed the wrap-around porch. Wonderful value for the money.

Wonderful experience; the place is gorgeous; we were impressed with our room (Casewell). The room was very comfortable, spacious, and clean. Quiet neighborhood. Off the street parking. Conveniently located near major roads and stores. Great hospitality. Would definitely stay here again.

This B & B is such a lovely jewel in a historic neighborhood. It is exquistely decorated with lovely antiques but the bathrooms are very modern and elegant. The bonus was being able to sit on the porch and relax and feel safe and taken care of.

From the minute you walk through the door, you are surrounded by beauty, comfort, and care. It is evident that the owners takes tremendous pride are perfectionist in providing outstanding service to their customers. Every detail was with the customer in mind down to the bedding.
