4.6 out of 5Clearview Horse Farm gets FIVE STARS
July 30, 2012
We stayed for two nights at the farm and it was wonderful! The apartment and adjacent bedroom were very nice and the grounds were incredibly well maintained. We enjoyed walking around the grounds and relaxing on the porch. Marie and her staff were excellent hosts. The "Dining" rating is misleading. We didn't sign up for any "dining" and used the kitchen to prepare some meals for ourselve. This was expected. We have travelled extensively in the US and stayed in many B&Bs and I highly recommend Clearview Horse Farm and give it FIVE STARS!

4.8 out of 5Opportunity of a lifetime.
March 10, 2012
As an experienced English Rider who always had to work herself to death for riding time, this was an opportunity of a lifetime for me. To have the opportunity to learn on trained reiners and trailride on nice walking horses was one of a lifetime for me. It is so refreshing to ride well trained horses and to have lessons from the owner on the transition from English to other specialties such as the reining world or the walking horse trail riding world. The town of Shelbyville is just a couple of miles away with plenty of choices to choose to eat from for lunch and dinner. We enjoyed car rides and photographing the neighbors while they were out training their Tennessee Walkers. I was sad to leave. It really was a highlite moment of my life. If your lucky enough to ride Sky enjoy the roll backs and spins and the fact that he has such patience while he is teaching you something new. If you go trailriding Goat is your man. This palomino Tennessee Walker lives up to his name. He goes anywhere and rides as smooth as butter in a wonderful steady gait. Goat masters the obstacle course and climbs steep inclines and declines while shaving degrees off the angles never letting onto the degree of difficulty. Embry was a perfect young gentleman on our trailride as well. I loved my time at Clearview and wish it hadnt gone by so fast. Stacy is just a beautiful on the outside as on the inside and I am greatful to have met a true friend on the trails. Marie, Ronnie, Stacy and the rest of the staff made it a very welcoming place to visit. I cant wait to go back one day.

March 03, 2012
We stayed at Clearview for four days and it was one of the most delightful experiences of my life. Marie is the perfect hostess, attending to her guests' every need. The rooms are delightfully decorated with a perfect country chic for the setting. The rooms have a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. There is a double bed and a day bed (which was more comfortable than some hotel beds). There is a TV with more than 100 channels. I did not ride, but my traveling companion did. She rode two or three times a day. There were trail rides and practice sessions in the arena. She rode many breeds and many different horses. As an avid horse woman she said it was the trip of a lifetime. We are already planning a trip for next year and next time, I will ride!

4.8 out of 5Wonderful
February 24, 2012
We choose this place because it looked so beautiful. We weren't able to go for a trail ride due to the weather. The owner and staff were very kind and helpful in every way possible. The bedding was hand made and the head and board of the bed that I stayed at was the Quarter horse room. It had real fur. It was the best place I've ever stayed at. I would truly recommend this place to anyone.
4.6 out of 5Wonderful, peaceful place to stay!
December 13, 2010
My husband and I travel the southeast with our company. We have stayed here 2X and will stay every time we are in the area. It is so peaceful waking up to this beautiful horse farm, eating our breakfast in the sunroom and enjoying the view before working each day. We highly recommend!
