My parents, who lived to be in their 90s loved coming to Blue Mt. Mist with S and S Travel which was owned by one of their former students. Our parents wish was for their 3 daughters to stay at BMM. In 2008, after our parents had passed away, we 3 and our husbands came with S and S Travel. While the group from the bus went out to see the sights, we 6 just sat on the big front porch and rocked and looked at the beautiful Smokey Mts. This year 2 of the sisters and husbands returned with S and S to this wonderful BMM which is truly a home away from home. I picked up postcards of BMM in the dining room to write to my 2 adult children asking them to keep the postcard and on the card I told them the same thing my parents told me, "Someday I want you to come to the foothills of the Smokeys to Blue Mountain Mist which is managed by a marvelous family who now has the help of their next generation."

We enjoyed two nights at the inn. The innkeepers were really gracious and helpful. They gave us great tips about touring the area. The facilities are great and the surrounding gardens wonderful.

This was our first time to the Blue Mountain Mist but everyone treats you like family. Eric was most helpful and we enjoyed many talks with him in the kitchen as he worked away not missing a beat. Kolette was a sweet woman to talk to as well and both made us feel so welcome. I can't say enough about the yummy treats baked nightly as well as the yummy breakfast. This B & B really goes above and beyond any other that I have stayed at. We are already planning our future trips back there. It was the most relaxing vacation ever. Do as much or as little as you like because they are located in the perfect place. Love, love, love this place. Can't wait to go back. James & Luci Cyr-Ocala Florida

We truly feel at home here - that's why we call it our home away from home. The Ball family is so personable and we love that they take the time to answer any questions or just take the time to "shoot the breeze". We met Kolette (one of the innkeepers) nearly 4 yrs ago, and always look forward to seeing her each and every visit. She truly cares about how we are doing. If you haven't stayed here it- you won't regret it! And the views? Beautiful!

Upon arrival, we were shocked to see that both our favorite desserts were made on the first night! (Red Velvet and German Chocolate cake) Then when we got into our cabin, Kolette (sp?) had made up some chocolate covered strawberries and a sweet note! Yum! Totally blew our diet!!! The cabin was clean and bed was comfy! The main house was neat to just meet other guests and come together for breakfasts! (Which, by the way were always amazing!) Loved the sweetness of Sarah and Norman! Hospitality is truly their gift! To top it all off was Tammy's sweet spirit that manuevered her gentle hands to give one of the best massages ever! She is a gem that God has been polishing and is getting her in the light to impart many words of widom she has learned over the years! Thank you all for the best vacation ever! Blessings and love, Steve and Tricia Fayetteville, GA

My husband and I came to this inn for our honeymoon, staying a week in one of the cabins. This is in rural Sieverville, close to Pigeon Forge. I cannot say enough to praise this Bed and Breakfast. The grounds are restful and lovely. The staff is kind, helpful, and friendly. Our favorite times of the day were breakfast sitting with others staying at the Inn, and afternoons we spent drinking coffee on the front porch talking and reading. The main Inn is not the owners residence, so it' never felt like an intrusion, but like a lovely comfortable place to enjoy. There are multiple places to sit and ponder, a place to read, visit, watch a movie, have a meeting,or family reunion. Nearby are attractions or just nature as we came for. The cabin was clean, cozy and with a comfortable bed. We both highly reccomend the Inn , the rooms, or as we preferred the cabins. We will come here again. It was romantic, and restful to our souls. It was a great place to stay, and get into the mountains we love, without getting into the commercialism of nearby areas.

We've been staying at Blue Mtn. Mist since the early nineties. We usually visit there at least once a year. We recommend it to all our friends. It's like coming home. The owners, always remember us. It is convenient to everything, but away from the busyness of Pigeon Forge & Sevierville. The accomodations are exceptional. Rooms are very comfortable. The food is outstanding. Sarah, Norman, Eric, Justin and the whole staff are so warm and welcoming. I cannot say enough good about this place.

My husband and I remember coming here when Mrs. Ball's mother was still alive, that was in the later 1990's, Sarah and Norman had their 3 children, Jason, was a 8 yr old boy then came his little brother and sister soon after that. We have not been back since 1999, but we think of this place very often. We built our home on the premise of Sarah and Norman. Keep in the faith and you will soon come back which we are coming here soon. I love this place excellent after all these years. It feels like your coming to Grandma's house. But you never feel like going home. I offen think of the wonderful meals we had here and the hot cups of coffee or cocoa on the wrap around porch at night. We came here many times since 1999 but that was the only last time we came here, and now we are all excited to come back to where my heart loves the mountains of Tennessee. I told my husband lets see where there is a permanent place that I can find for my body to be stored after my demise, sorry I am looking for a place but Where we live in Florida is just too hot there, I love alitttle coolness.. but I feel that this place and all their help really outdoes themselves in the food. I hope that Jason will be able to make us a small dinner for two, if he can, cause Those winding streets at night I am kind of afraid to drive in that way. I highly recommend this place to anyone... This has become one of our favorite places to come back to.. Thanks Sarah and Norman for all those wonderful years with your growing family. Linda Valentino

Our daughters gave us this trip for our 50th anniversary. It was our first time to stay in a B & B and definitely will not be our last time at Blue Mountain Mist. It was a great experience. We loved the Christian atmosphere. The location was very convenient to the things & places we wanted to visit. We met a lot of people from several states and so enjoyed the family atmosphere. The food was great as was the staff from the time we walked in the door until we left. Thank you for a great visit.
