Nestled in the heart of Apple Valley Resort at Cherokee Lake, HearthStone Bed & Breakfast is the place to stay for vacation, fun and relaxation. Located just 15 minutes from I-40, 31 miles from Knoxville, 30 miles from Pigeon Forge, 6 miles from Carson-Newman College, and 30 minutes from 2 large shopping malls, HearthStone is an excellent location for whatever you desire.
HearthStone Bed & Breakfast is a remodeled log cabin set on two acres in heavily forested land which ensures privacy and quietness. The lodge is located on the shore of Cherokee Lake, where visitors can feel free to swim, fish, boat, and play to their heart's desire. (Dock available to guests with boats.) During the winter months, visitors can hike the hills or simply sit by the fireplace on the main floor and enjoy the view of the lake or watch the latest movies on satellite television. Each of our four beautiful rooms has a private bathroom and is uniquely decorated with exposed logs. The entire property is non-smoking.
There are several tourist attractions and restaurants located just minutes from the lodge in Jefferson City and surrounding cities where you can go to play, shop, and have a great dinner before you return to HearthStone for more serene relaxation.

After travelling all summer for work and vacation, we have to say that one of our most pleasant stays was the HearthStone B&B. al and Ginny were very gracious hosts and their family was very welcoming. Our room was quiet with a view of the lake, the ensuite bath well equipped and outlets sufficient for some computer work at night. Not only were the breakfasts outstanding, they were served on heirloom china with ever changing table linen. The Eggs Benedict were definitely thumbs up. No problem with our tea service either. We drink a lot of tea and it was always available and perfectly presented. And not to forget, if you like cats, the family cats were friendly if you wished to make their acquaintance outside on the porch or lawn.
