Mountain Harbor Inn--Resort on the Lake

My husband and I visted last weekend and the services where awesome! The room was more than what I expected and the dessert was to die for! I would suggest this resort if you want a relaxing getaway.

What a beautiful place to have a wedding. My son and bride rented the whole place for 2 days. Her family was from out of town so this was perfect. We had a rehearsal dinner in the dinning room it was catered by Buddy's. We didn't have very nice weather. It rained about the whole time. But we still had a great view of the lake and mountains. The wedding was suppose to be on the deck but because of the weather we had it in the dinning room. Still turned out pretty. With all the windows you could still enjoy the view. We stayed in the honeymoon suite. The Bride and Groom took a condo. The honeymoon suite was real nice. It has a separate living room with a couch, table and chairs and a small refridge. The bed was awesome so comfortable. Very clean too. The breakfast both morning was very good. The staff was wonderful. Lisa helped so much with the wedding. And the owner Billie he made us feel at home. I would recommend Mountain Harbor for a beautiful wedding and a great retreat. We will be back again.

Staff was wonderfully pleasant and informative. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Close to Douglas Dam park.

This was a very beautiful place out in the middle of the Smokey Mountains. We stopped there for one night on our way to Florida in March 2013. The rooms are very nice but small for people with a lot of stuff. The breakfast was very nice sitting in the dinning room looking out at the lake. The staff was very helpful with anything you needed.

The Mountain Harbor Inn in Dandridge Tennesse has beatiful rooms, sunset boat cruize, candlelight desert, and a great breakfast! The service was excellent. Very romantic. I have been 3 times and plan to go yearly.

The views were spectacular and the staff was very eagar to please. They checked on us servial times and even offered dessert brought to our room without our asking. They were very quick with their service and Sheron and Diana were the sweetest and most pleasant staff that we have ever encountered. The dining room was beautiful, very bright and cheerful. The food was extremely good and the variety was outstanding. It was meant as a midweek getaway and it turned out great. We will be going back this summer and probably this fall also. This was our second visit to Mountain Harbor Inn within two months. Our first stay was Jan 5 and then we loved it so much we went back for Valentine's weekend! As always we were treated like a King and Queen . We also had the pleasure of being treated to one of the best Valentine's party/Dance ever. WE had a wonderful time and have suggested Mountain Harbor to our friends and family. We have promised ourselves that we will visit Mountain Harbor at least 1 time per month. Can't wait to go back in March! Reservations are already made! Thank you for the wonderful service! We LOVE this place!!!!

Perfect place to get away anytime of the year. Breakfast is awsome and the desserts are perfect. Just the right distance to Gatlinburg and pigeon forge. We were there for our honeymoon and it was wonderful. Just one thing that would make it better is blinds for the windows. We like the room dark . thank you for an enjoyable stay. We will be back.

We spent our 18th Anniversary here for Feb 2-3, 2013 and I couldnt ask for a better place. First of all, we where treated like we where Kings & Queens. The service is absoulently wonderful. I would rate it a 5 star. The staff was very friendly to us and showed us everything we needed to know about the facility. The cleanliness of the room we stayed in was a 5. I couldnt ask for a more cleaner place. The whole facility was clean. The actual room we stayed in was wonderful. We felt like a queen and king. I would rate it also a 5. The dining experience was wonderful. The breakfast meal was absolutley very good and tasty. I gove it also a 5 star. The candlelight dinner was amazing. The value was a very good price and I also give it a 5 star. I couldnt ask for a more romantic place than Mountain Harbor Inn. It was very nice that it was just couples their and not kids running around. That was great. Waking up to a romantic room buy the lake and snow was falling. Im so happy with our night we spent here. Our room was one of the smaller rooms (TN Waltz), because of last-minute plans. It was small, but ample. The employees were a delight, along with the homemade hotfudge brownie dessert. A wonderful Southern breakfast was served in the private-seating dining room that boasted a gorgeous lakeview. It's a nice place to stay, especially if you'll be out of your room in the daytime--the only negative was its close proximity to the highway. It's not a major route, but busy enough to be heard from our room. However, our sleep wasn't bothered by the traffic noise at night. It would just be a downfall for people hoping to catch an afternoon nap. I would like to go back and choose a larger suite.

It was a very pleasant stay and we enjoyed it very much. Lisa was great right from the start. We diffidently enjoyed the boat ride with the owner Mr Inmon. We will be back. and again thanks for a wonderful time.

We have visited Mountain Harbour several times and they have all been very enjoyable. The rooms are comfortable and attractive. The staff is above average in their hospitality and concern for comfort

We had a great weekend getaway at Mountain Harbor Inn. The views were spectacular and the staff was excellent! Highly recommended place for couples just to get away and relalx!!

We spent one night at the Mountain Harbor Inn and woke the next to only be disappointed that we had not booked 2 nights! The evening dessert was absolutely decadent (very large and very delicious). The rooms are so cozy and relaxing that we spent the remainder of the evening there. The linens and bed were so comfortable; unfortunatley we were too full from dessert to enjoy our bedtime chocolate:) The next morning breakfast was splendid. I enjoyed the walk to the dining room just watching the sunrise over the lake. We cannot WAIT for late summer/early fall because we are definately coming back!!!

Stayed for three days including Christmas day, the staff was friendly and extremely helpful, a very good and enjoyable stay.

For our 11th anniversary, we stayed in the Endless Love room. It was an amazing experience at Mountain Harbor Inn. We have stayed here in the past and really enjoyed the atmosphere. This time was no different. Guest services are excellent!

my husband and i were "alone" for thanksgiving, so we "gifted" ourself with an overnight stay in a b&b. this was a perfect choice. friendly, clean, very nice, and beautiful view.

My wife and I just finished celebrating 25 years of being married, and we decided to celebrate in style. We had an excellent time! We would not have preferred to be anywhere else. The event was one that we can share with anyone since it was a truly wonderful experience. We are going to present to our Sunday School Class to have a two day retreat here at the Mountain Harbor Inn. All of our class would enjoy the wonderful breakfast and drool over (tongue in cheek) the desserts served at night. While it has been only two days since our stay, my wife and I have already talked about when we can afford to come back for another weekend. What an amazing place, amazing experience! From the moment we arrived till the moment we left no detail was overlooked. It was all that we had hoped for. in a world where "false advertising" seems to be the status quo, it was nice to find a place where we received everything that was promised and more. The service was top notch, so friendly and attentive, never to busy to make us feel like we were the only people there. The food was incredible, restaurant quality for sure. The scenery and boat ride was awesome. Very affordable and definitely worth the price. We went for our anniversary this year, and will most likely return for the same next year.

The stay at the Mountain Harbor Inn was absolutely wonderful. My husband and I loved the view of the lake and the many accomodations that came with the room. Every little detail was handled with such care as to make the stay just perfect. This is the cleanest room that we have ever stayed in, and the service was spot on. The evening cruise, which we skipped, was a wonderful additon to the room and the dessert was amazing, definitely a generous portion. I would recommend this place to any couple looking for a quiet, relaxing get away. We plan to make reservations again for Valentine's Weekend.

We spent an overnight this past week. The entire place is fabulous ! Mind you, the weather was not good but it was still breathtaking ! We will come back, for sure ! Made our trip from central Ohio. My wife and I recently spent our nineteenth anniversary in October of 2012 at the Mountain Harbor Inn near Dandridge, TN and we had a wonderful time. We spent the night in the Presidential suite which was decorated very nicely and had a large comfortable king size bed. We had a magnificent view of Douglas Lake from our room. We will make plans for a return visit when the weather is warmer next year.

Absolutely wonderful place. Charming, fun, gorgeous setting. Staff was superb - helpful, friendly, thorough. Food was plentiful and outstanding. A real treat after a long drive. Loved every moment there. Would visit again!!!

Absolutely peaceful. Don't miss the nightly cruise on the lake at sunset by Captin Billy. And the desserts are amazing - they will leave them in your room if you come back late from dinner. Amber the in-room massage therapist was excellent, and the fishing on the lake was excellent.

We stayed at the Mountain Harbor Inn for our 10 year anniversary. It was our first Bed and Breakfast experience. The Sunset Cruise was fun and the dessert was delicious. I had the brownie sundae and my husband has the cheesecake. The breakfast was very good too. It was a nice place to stay.

First and foremost, this location was "off the beaten path" so to speak. Tucked away from the hustle of the main roads. Loved driving down the twisting and turning, back woods to get there. The hospitality was out of this world. Greeted promptly, walked to our suite and everything was explained, right down to the direct tv channel list. We did miss the sunset cruise, however, even though it was about 8:30pm when we checked in, my boyfriend was still able to have a slice of cheesecake (they usually stop serving at 8:00). The room itself was beautiful, large comfy bed that I could spend days in and the bath room was moderate in size. Each room we walked passed (including ours) had a breathtaking view of Lake Douglas and the surrounding mountains. The fog rolling across the lake was magical. Breakfast was hot and more than I could ask for. Coming from the south, we love some biscuits and gravy, they were on point. All of the food was hot and ready to eat. The coffee was fresh and the help was amazing. All in all, the service alone is the main reason why we will be visiting again. Everything else was an added bonus. I felt right at home, and look forward to visiting during the summer to take advantage of water sports (jet skis, boats, etc) they have available. Do yourself a favor, and stay at this fabulous location!! :)

The view of the lake is gorgeous, and the staff is second to none. They do anything possible to make your stay the best it can be. The romantic dessert is a nice touch. Expect to be pampered.

We were quite happy with our stay at the Mountain Harbor Inn. The room looked great, and had a beautiful view of the mountains over the lake. The "cruise" is more of a mini tour of the lake, and definitely worth going out on at least once. The desserts were wonderful, especially the brownie. The breakfast wasn't anything amazing, a buffet style set up, but good. Everyone was very nice, always asking how we were doing. You don't have too far to go to get to a lot of good places to eat and things to do. We're definitely planning on returning in the future.

We stopped the the Mountain Harbor Inn for a night on our way further south. The Inn is beautifully located on a lake. Great views, good sized rooms. We were treated to an hour boat ride on the lake. A candlelight dessert is offered each night but by the time we got done with the boat ride, and had dinner it was too late to participate in the dessert. Wish the dessert time were pushed back a bit to make it easier to enjoy!

We traveled with another couple to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday. We played golf at Patriot Hills and ate dinner prior to checking in We were all impressed with our condo. We enjoyed both our dessert and breakfast. All of the staff that we met were helpful and friendly. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and the view was great. All four of us said we would definitely go again.

It was absolutely beautiful, and the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. We rented jet-skis and had a fabulous time on Douglas Lake. I have told many people about our stay and recommended Mountain Harbor Inn to all of them.

My wife and I spent three nights at Mountain Harbor Inn in September and we can't imagine any way our stay could have been better. Great breakfast, fantastic room, and spectacular view on Lake Douglas. Will definitely go back. :-)

The period decor is very heavy, but attractive. The dining room is bright and beautiful. We enjoyed the view of the lake and the mountains in the distance. The boat ride was most enjoyable, thanks to our skipper. The candlelight dessert was excellent, but I think we were served coffee instead of decaf. We didn't sleep well. The mattress and pillows were uncomfortable. The shower head was difficult to adjust. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I loved our stay with Mountain Harbor Inn. The ladies in the office and Captain Billy were very friendly. Their willingness to make you feel at home went beyond the expected. We have stayed in hotels around the world, but we would be hard pressed to find an owner and staff who would compare to our new friends at the inn. Thank you for making our visit special!!! Our stay was restful, that;s what we wanted. The in room massage was very pleasant, she was experienced and professional. The Inn just needs a little TLC, the outside and grounds seemed unkept and cluttered. The door blinds were broken in our room and some type of goo had been rubbed on it to try and keep the blinds shut, I think that is what the goo was for, we wound up slidding a chair against the door to keep anyone fron seeing inside. The enjoyment was kinda of trampled at the end as we had to wait to check out. The lobby was full of people there to rent boats and jetskis. A seperate entrance might be considered.

Everything was excellent.The facilities, the food, the service, the view,and the personality and personal touches offered by all the people involved.I would definitely rate it a five star experience and Lord willing, we will go back.

We can not say enough about our stay at Mountain Harbor Inn! The staff was extremely helpful and the rooms are decorated beautifully. Our room had an amazing view of Lake Douglas and was a treasure to wake up to. The owner went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and his knowledge of the history of Dandridge added a personal touch. Planning a return trip in the fall.

For a second year our visit to Mountain Harbor Inn was very relaxing and enjoyable. The privacy of renting the cabin on tahe lake made our stay even more better to visit with our daughter who lives locally. The conveniance of breakfast at the Inn and use of their docks made the stay even more rewarding. Staff were very accomodating and helpful to any of our needs. We are already looking forward to returning next year, which will be our third stay.

My husband and I stayed for my Birthday in the Honeymoon Suite and had a delightful time! Everything was wonderful except the weather. We were unabel to take the sunset cruise due to a violent storm on the lake. We did have "front row seats" to this storm from the windows in our room and witnessed an amazing display of nature! My son and his wife want to stay here for a treat and we will be coming again in the near future. Downtown Dandridge is a beautiful place and quite interesting with the walking tour, antque shops and of course a "Bible Burger" at the old drugstore/soda fountain in town. Great place for history buffs and those that want to explore a small town feel.

On a recent road trip from Mississippi to Maine we stopped at the Mountain Harbour Inn, I wish we had time to stop longer. A beautiful setting, rich in history and architecture. Had an excellent meal at nearby Angelo's, and spent a great evening and early morning on the deck of our suite overlooking the lake. Wonderful!

Exceptional staff and accommodations. All employees went out of their way to be of service. The dinning experience was pleasurable. The amenities were more than adequate and easily accessible. The only drawback to the whole experience was limited parking.

This was the first time that me and my wife stayed at Mountain Harbour Inn. All of the staff was extremely courteous and we even met the owner as he took us on a sunset cruise. We absolutely loved everyting about the Inn. From the chocolates on our pillows every single day. To the absolutely awesome breakfast and personalized service. My husband and I booked our getaway weekend at Mountain Harbor Inn for our 30th wedding anniversary recently. We loved the idea of waking up with lake and mountain views, enjoying the serenity the water brings and just relaxing completely for a couple of days. We were not disappointed. We were treated like family from check-in until we left. Our 3rd floor room was beautiful, clean, comfortable and boasted the views and amenities we needed. We liked the all-inclusive rate and the freedom to enjoy dessert in the dining room or have it delivered to our room. We got the hiking package and was sent off for our excursion with a cooler filled with a delicious lunch and maps to hiking trails of our choosing. We are already looking forward to bringing our family to Mountain Harbor Inn, and planning our anniversary there for next year!

My husband and I celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary at Mtn Harbor Inn. We couldn't have been more satisfied. From the moment we entered the lobby to the minute we left, we were treated wonderfully. Mr. Billy went out of his way to see that we were satisfied after having problems with out pontoon boat. It was a much needed getaway. So peaceful! Be sure to eat at Lakeview Grill while you're there! I would recommend Mtn Harbor highly to anyone who is looking for a peaceful, romantic getaway! Great room, loved the area; far enough away from the tourist oriented things to avoid the crowd, but close enough to get there quick. Billy, the owner, went out of his way to make our stay incredible. We loved our stay and look forward to stay here on our anniversaries. The jet ski is a BLAST!!!

My family stayed at Mountain Harbor Inn for 3 nights recently. This place is very nice but the best part was that both of my teenagers and husband were content and never bored! Believe me that is an extremely hard task! You are close enough to attractions but far enough away to relax! Thanks for a super vacation- we will return!

I booked this stay online and was not sure what to expect. i was pleasantly surprised! Me and my husband stayed for our Anniversary and it was absolutley wonderful! One suggestion is to always call and speak to someone about your reservation. I was expecting the Anniversary Package but didn't book it correctly online. Also if you plan on renting a boat reserve it ahead of time. Me and my husband can't wait to go back. The Captain (owner) was the sweetest. Breakfast was GREAT!

The only thing I would look at is changing breakfast for people who stay longer than 1 or 2 days. Service 2nd to none. Owner Bill took us on the boat ride 2 nights and was wonderful. Could not have had a better stay. Normally my wife and I like to stay at different B&B's to compare options but will not stay anywhere else when we go back to the Smokies. Have stayed at better than 20 B&B's and when you compare all services The Mountain Harbor Inn is #1 on our list. Steve and Karen Henderson

We stayed here for anniversary. It was wonderful we left feeling more contected with each other. Very romantic!

Awesome! Awesome! and super Awesome!! We enjoyed everything. From the receptionist who allowed us to check in early to the wonderful ladies serving desserts each night. The boat ride, horseback riding and the breakfast was an added bonus. We shall return and tell our friends and family about this location. This was the best 3rd anniversary ever!

What a blessed weekend experience to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary! We have dealt with Mountain Harbor in the past to rent pontoon boats and jet skis, so it was not so much a surprise to have the staff so kind and efficient; however, we did not know what to expect in the Inn itself. It did not disappoint us!!! We stayed in the Lincoln Penthouse Condo Suite and were absolutely blown away by its beauty and size! The pictures on the internet don't nearly do it justice... As for the staff, Billy Inman certainly knows how to hire and train his staff to make your stay special. We have rarely seen such a hardworking group - but they are lead through the great example of Mr. Inman himself, who, as you watch him working around the Inn and with the people themselves, you have no doubt of his love for Mountain Harbor Inn on Douglas Lake. Well, Mr. Inman, we have joined in your love affair with the Inn, your staff and this lake ... and we will certainly return as often as we can. This was a very charming sweet hidden gem! Great getaway from stress! You can't help but feel relaxed! Those desserts , well..... Let's just say we skipped dinner for it! We chose the honeymoon suite, great because it had two rooms. The street level noise didn't bother us at all. SUNSET cruise was nice - onl;y thing I would change is the time of it - 5 pm - then you get dessert - doesnt give you time to have dinner first. Being that it stays light out until 9 pm - it would be nicer if it were a little later. REMEMBER - they only serve breakfast! There is delivery service - and few good restaurants with in a 10 to 15 min drive. The inn does leave the bagels, coffee, cereals and fruit from breakfast there all day in dining room so that you can have that as a snack or even dinner. GREAT PLACE- so nice and quiet!

Wonderful stay! Super friendly staff! Gorgeous panoramic views of the mountains and lake! Beyond words just how beautiful! They will give you a free cruise around the lake. The owners are such nice people! Definitely going back! Love that you can rent kayaks, boats, jet skis, etc. They have a fire pit on their huge deck where you can request to roast smores!

The resort is beautiful and we had a great time while we were visiting. The views from the room were out of this world. You are overlooking Douglas Lake with the Smokies off in the distance. Just beautiful. The only issue we had with our stay was that they confused our reservation with someone else and became upset when we questioned the reservation. I also thought it was a little odd that the front desk seemed more interested in answering the phone instead of talking to the guest that was standing right in front of them. I hope this was just an isolated incident because the location is great and we really enjoyed the rest of our stay.

Our suite was quite large. Nice porch and bedrooms, but sofa had seen better days. The Brownie/Ice Cream dessert was large enough for two.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. The views from the rooms are incredible and the availability of on-site boating rentals are so convenient and reasonable. We plan to come back for a third time next year.

A reasonable drive from Michigan, Mountain Harbor Inn was a great to meet our children from North Carolina for a great Memorial Day weekend. The Lincoln Suite worked well four the four of us, great views. The only problem with the food was that I gained three pounds. Be sure to reserve a boat early, they go quick, and Douglas Lake offers a BIG playground. The staff did everything to make our stay enjoyable. We will return.

We were on our anniversy, we had a room on the first floor and wanted to be on the third floor after seeing the beautiful view of the lake, the innkeeper showed us two rooms on the third floor and let us chose. The view was amazing, the room was great and the service was just wonderful. The Innkeeper worked at the desk, took care of all the problems and also cooked the wonderful breakfast, I guess she cooked the wonderfud deserts. My Husband and I only wished we could have stayed longer.

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars to 2 catagories is that I knew what to Expect as far as Cleanlines & Diniing were concerned - as was the case on our 1st visit both were just great. The entire staff works on the same principle that we have, ie: the 1st time we are guest, after that we are HOME!

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the Mountain Harbor Inn. It is more like a hotel than a B&B. The staff was as pleasant and helpful as they could possibly be. Special requests were gladly handled. The view was spectacular as well as the grounds. Breakfast every morning was a wonderful Southern breakfast and dessert every evening - oh my goodness, the specialty brownie - was so delicious and we felt so pampered. The bathroom with the jacuzzi and fluffy towels and beautiful mirrors was so relaxing. The bedroom and bed were comfortable and very well appointed. The only downside to this visit - the walls were not soundproofed. We could hear every conversation in the room close to the bathroom as well as outside the room. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

This was a much needed vacation. One of the best we've stayed at. Everyone working there was fantastic and very helpfull with anything we asked. We plan a return trip later in the summer. GREAT place to stay.

This is a beautiful, out-of-the way place to relax for a few days. Highly recommended.

The room was very beautiful but very dusty. The service was good but the lady had to do everything check in guest, show them around, and attend to guest in dining. I think they could have 2 people in the evening to better service their guests. The food was great specially desert. The boat ride was great. The packages are a bit confusing because you have to email them for that extra stuff which isn't stated on their website to be include in packages. Thanks

This is absolutely the best get a way you could ever do. The rooms are beautiful,the staff is very attentive, and the ammenities are the best. It is a very beautiful place,and I go every chance I get. It is my favorite and well worth the drive.

Location is beautiful and staff are very accommodating and friendly. Would recommend staying here, especially if you like to bass fish!!

Beautiful views from very nice rooms. Love the home-cooked buffet breakfast and evening desserts. The service is very friendly and accomodating. We were suppose to arrive for a Fri and Sat night stay. Bad weather kept us from traveling on Friday. Called on Friday to ask if we could change to Sat. and Sun. nt stays. No problem. Even though our reserved room was not available on Sun. nt, they put us up in their Presidential Suite at no extra charge. I'm very appreciative. Review for trip dates 3/3/12 - 3/5/12.

Our stay at the Mountain Harbor Inn in Dandridge Tennesse was outstanding!

I have stayed all over the US and Bahamas and never knew that less than 25 miles from my home was this little jewel tucked away by the lake! My husband and I booked this getaway for our 20th anniversary of the day that we met and it was breathtaking and, out of all of my travels, I can honestly say that this one is one of my very favorites! The place was spotless, the staff (Pam) was excellent and tended to every single thing that we (or she) could think of that would make our stay more enjoyable. When we arrived, we were informed that the staircase directly next to the room we had originally booked was having some repairs and, rather than listen to the noise of hammering, they were giving us a free upgrade to their "show room", the Presidential Suite! It was so beautiful and all of the expensive details were uncountable. The sunset cruise was intimate and charming. The candlelight desert was a HUGE "homemade" brownie with about two pints of ice cream piled on top and topped with warm fudge. It was wonderful, but no way of finishing it, plus we were asked if we wanted seconds! Since there were only 6 couples on the premises during our stay and desert was served anytime you want between 5:30-7:30, we had the privilege of eating our candlelight desert alone in the sun room that overlooks the lake with nice music playing. it was the ultimate romantic experience.... all for free! The next morning, there was a FULL "homemade" breakfast waiting for us in the sun room! there is a large deck overlooking the lake that has a fire pit and it is lit upon request and the inn supplies all that you need to roast S'mores around it. They have thought of every little thing and the attention to details was indescribable! Mountain Harbor Inn was a wonderful and romantic experience that we will definitely come back for more of! I would recommend that everyone put this on their list of travel "must sees". --Laura A.

We came to Mtn Harbor Inn on our Honeymoon and were so pleased! We hope to return for an anniversary trip every year. The staff was beyond helpful and friendly. We had an amazing stay and can't wait to return.

The service was excellent. Rooms were clean, but the 1st room we stayed in the bathroom needed a little more updating. The rest of the room & our 2nd room were beautiful & the beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed speaking with the owner in the dining room during breakfast.

My husband and I needed a quick getaway weekend and the in allowed you to book for one night. All the other B&B's required a two night minimum. We booked on the off season, so I was not sure if we would receive all the perks, but we did. The staff was friendly and the sunset cruise was great. I recommend the hot fudge sunday with icecream for your candlelight dessert. It was amazing. We felt rested and relaxed after just one night. We wished we could have stayed longer.

My husband and I have returned several times to stay at Mountain Harbor Inn. If you need a relaxing quite place away from kids this is the place. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean. The afternoon desserts are great and the breakfast is tasty. The staff are very attentive. I can't think of a negative thing to say. It is always a great experience. You won't be disappointed.

I booked this room for one night for my husband as an extra honeymoon treat. The in room massages by Patti were wonderful. The sunset cruise, stunning (although we did run a ground with water coming in which was exciting!). The breakfast excellent, lots of choice. The desserts, equally yummy. My only slight criticisms were the slightly stressed new receptionist who was on her own and left to deal with everything and everyone upon our arrival, nonetheless was as helpful as she could have been. The road noise and some noise from the other room could be heard in our suite (Love Me Tender) which I didn't expect for such a hotel. Had we stayed in season I would not have been able to afford the full cost and if I had, I think I would have thought it expensive. Having said that the views and food were indeed amazing, just a shame it's not quite as peaceful a haven as other places I have visited.

Loved it!!!!! cannot express enough how much fun it was, the food was great, the room was great.... everything was GREAT!!! Everyone was so freindly. Definitely want to come back!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband and I stayed here for our 5th wedding anniversary for one night so we could go to the TN vs. SC game. We actually got there early, but they were kind enough to rush getting our room ready so we could check-in. The person at the front desk walked us to our room and was very informative and helpful. The room was really small, but for the two of us it was plenty big. The bed was gorgeous and huge, but it took up the majority of the room, but there wasa couch at the end where you could watch the mounted flat screen. The bathroom was sort of awkward with the doors and it could definitely use some updating. The rod to hang wash clothes on inside the shower was broken so I'm sure it's causing some water damage. However they had lots of towels and top notch soaps and shampoos etc. Also, the deck outside of the rooms seemed a little weak in some spots. From our room we had an amazing view of the lake and the little marina down below. We didn't make the dinner cruise due to going to see the game but at our request they put our dessert in our room mini fridge so it was a great late night treat when we got home. It is very close to the road, but we are heavy sleepers and live close to a road anyway so the noise didn't bother us. It definitely seems to be a couples retreat, not suggested for people with children. The owner came down at breakfast and was very friendly and kind. We did have our tires slashed at some point during our visit, but we called the Inn and they had survelliance and said they didn't see anything so we are still waiting on word from the parking garage in Knoxville to see if they saw anything on survelliance. All in all it was a good place to stay and we enjoyed it. We'd recommend it.

we stayed 1 night that was available in the large 2 bedroom suite which was absolutely perfect and would have loved to stay there the entire stay. Exquisitly furnished, decorated and view. it had a huge balcony with hot-tub and grill. The second room was as elegantly decorated but very small which would have been more comfortable if it was laid out a little better. Still, a beautifull place with unforgettable service and care for the guests. Breakfast was top-notch and unique and the evening deserts delectible!

The service and friendliness was outstanding. I would recommend this inn to my friends. I can't wait to go back again.

We stayed with my wife's parents, and her brother and his wife, in the 'Rich and Famous' condo...it was HUGE! Full kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, full dining table, massive tv in the living room...quaint little spiral staircase up to the third bedroom...lovely large balcony overlooking the lake, with a 6 person hottub that was perfect on a cool October night!

My husband and I visited for a couple of days for a little getaway. The view of the lake with the mountains in the background was beautiful. It was so quiet and peaceful and we loved that the inn was so close to the Smokey mountains. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the "Love Me Tender" suite. Although the furnishings were very nice, we found the bed a little large for the space and very difficult to get into and out of. Other than that, we were pleased with our stay and will recommend the inn to our friends and family.

My husband and I stayed for four days on our short honeymoon. The room and view were wonderful, but it was the staff that made me want to stay forever! They treated us like royalty from day one. The owner Billy came to talk with us at breakfast. The view will take your breath away first thing in the morning. Dessert was so romantic with candles on the table. This is the most romantic place I have ever stayed. On the last day there I cried because I did not want to return to reality and leave such a special place. My wife and I have never had an opportunity to get away without the children. This was the perfect place. We had a wonderful time reconnecting!

We stayed 09/2011. It was amazing from beginning to end! We were also given directions for back road assess to gatlinburg/ piegonfordge made everything so easy! The staff was just great, there was so much to do, The breakfast , candle light dessert, was really good! They do not skimp on any detail! For sure to visit again, I hope really soon !

We enjoyed out time at the Mountain Harbor Inn. The view of the lake and the Smokies was wonderful - very relaxing. We stayed in the "Hope you Dance" suite. It was very lovely - it would be nice to see the room with the tub and toliet have some color. The rest of the suite is very colorful and that room is rather bland. The breakfast was a good buffet - I would have liked to have seen some different things on the buffet the second morning. The same was true with the desserts - the same items were offered both evenings. Each night they took us out on a pontoon boat on the lake for an hour and that was fantastic. We stayed in the Rich and Famous and were pleased with it but were disappointed that the two bedrooms down stairs were so close together. We also would like to of had a DVD player on the big screen tv.

We loved the bed and breakfast and we have decided to continue to go back until we have stayed in every room it was beautiful even though it rained from the tropical storm Lee. Breakfast was wonderful. We got there late but was still able to have our dessert in our room. The staff was very nice it was our anniversary and can't wait to go back

The room was very comfortable. The bed was nice to sleep on. The staff were very helpful and kind. The reality is it is not a super luxurious or modern facility but it is nice.

Staff was well prepared for our visit. Very, very accomodating and their attention to detail and guest satisfaction made us feel like a King and Queen. Will definately be back again to enjoy a different suite.

The condo was beautiful. The only thing we didn't like was the spiral stairs to the upper bedroom. It was too small and hard to get up and down.

I booked this B&B to enjoy with my boyfriend who was visiting from out of town. The weekend was nothing short of pure bliss. The view of the lake was divine, the rooms were luxurious and well maintained and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. We booked a jet ski for a couple hours on both Friday and Saturday and the value was phenomenal. I just couldn't have been more pleased with our stay and would highly recommend this Inn to anyone and everyone who is looking for romance!!

We enjoyed our three night stay at the Inn. The Lincoln condo was fantastic. It was roomy, had a great view and was a bit more private and quiet. The staff was very attentive. The only improvement I would make would be to have more variety at breakfast with some healthy choices. Other than that it was very enjoyable and we would opt to stay there on our next trip to Dandridge.

This hotel is immaculate with beautiful views of the lake, access to reasonably priced boats, waverunners, and the like. The staff is beyond friendly, ensuring that all of your needs have been met. The hotel more than exceeded our expectations. This is a jewel on Douglas Lake.

April was a great person...She made out stay very smooth. I would recommend this Inn to everyone. The only down fall is that the inn is in a dry county, so make sure you bring your own alcohol.

My husband and I have stayed here several times over the past years and will continue to return. From the moment you arrive, you are treated like family and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful, you can look out over the lake, rent boats or jet skis, have a buffet breakfast and candlelight dessert all for about the same price as a hotel thats not as nice with less to offer. When we first got there, we didn't know if we were going to get into our room. The door was stuck. My husband and I left and went to dinner, when we got back we were able to get into the room. It was so nice, just what we needed for our anniversary. The service was outstanding. Everyone there was friendly and made you feel like you were at home. The breakfast was great. This is our second stay at Mountain Harbor Inn. Customer service is exceptional. My wife and I missed the included dessert: The night concierge went to the kitchen and got it for us. The breakfast buffet is generous and well done. Staff is efficient, courteous and unobtrusive. They're around when you need them but never in the way. The nightly cruise on a pontoon boat is a nice touch. Excellent customer service differentiates the leaders from the also rans. Mountain Harbor is a leader with excellent customer service and dedication to the customer. We had an awesome time!

We are only looking for an overnight stop to cut our trip in half and we ended up finding a hidden gem in East Tennessee. Totally exceeded any expectations we had from the room to the staff, all were excellent!

Everything about the B&B was just as it was described on the website. Sunset pontoon ride was great as was the candle lit dessert. Our room had a perfect view of the lake as well as the mountains. Rooms were spacious for the two of us. The staff went far above what was expected. This is definitely a place we will visit again!

My husband & I booked one night with MHI for our first anniversary. We absolutely loved it! We were so impressed with the service & lovely rooms & gorgeous view! Everyone made us feel like it was their delight to have us! We can't wait to go again!

We stayed in the Lincoln Penthouse and had a great experience. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The rooms could use some updating but were clean and well maintained! We loved the ease of renting boats right there and look forward to returning in the future. It definitely has more of an older-crowd vibe, but was very welcoming.

Stayed in "rich & Famous" condo. Wonderful room. Staff exhibited a helpful and friendly demeanor which appeared genuine. One detraction, this is Not a ADA friendly room--its accessed by a long flight of stairs. The third bedroom is accessed by a circular ladder. If stairs don't bother you--go for it.

Have never received better treatment at any facility. All the staff were friendly and always available to meet any request. The boat ride and candlelight desserts were especially relaxing. Will definitely go back.

The entire staff was friendly and very helpful. The boat ride was very cool. The evening deserts were always good...except for the weight I gained! The location,Douglas Lake, wow! It was all great. Amazing little get away. We Love the place. What realy makes it great, are the Owners Billy and Kathy, they also LOVE this place and it shows. They are ALWAYS making improvements and ungrades to make your stay even better. They are all about you and your stay. BIG Beautiful beds in ALL rooms, each room different, The Penthouses/Condo's are worth the Extra $$! Quiet,peaceful, romantic and RELAXING! Amazing Veiws of the Smokey Mountain and the Lake, you wont find anywhere else in these parts. Close to Gatlinburg, spend a day there, then come back to the Inn and RELAX and enjoy. We have stayed in MANY cabins in and around Gatlinburg, but NONE compare to this! This is not our frist stay here and wont be our last, already planning a visit this Fall. This is the only place we want to stay when we visit East Tennessee these days. RELAX, RELAX, RELAX! Its what a vacation and a get away should be!! Thanks Randy n Rhonda

Overall, the resort was wonderful! The lake, the view of the mountains from our room and the huge spacious deck were all outstanding. We did not take the sunset cruise due to the bad weather so I can't comment on that, but the candlelight dessert and the buffet breakfast were great. Ample choices for breakfast. Service was great, everyone was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. We even met the owner who came around to each of us and introduced himself. The only complaint I have is the room size, though I am torn between loving it and not loving it so much. It was a lovely room with a beautiful view and for the off season price we paid, it was well worth it. However, I would have been disappointed if it were regular price. I was shocked that the same price is charged for the small suite we had and the larger two room suites. We didn't have a choice when we reserved, all others were reserved already and we really wanted to stay here so we took the last suite available. The king bed, though lovely and very comfortable took up our whole room with just one oversized chair besides left no place for a second person to sit unless you climbed up on the huge bed. And yes, if is noisy from road noise and you can hear all the noise from other guests, but this is addressed by the resort and they offer headsets with calming music or sounds if you needed it. We slept fine however so it wasn't a problem for us. Overall, we will definitely stay again if the cheaper rate is offered and will be sure to reserve well in advance the next time.

My husband and I went for a weekend with 2 other couple for a mini getaway! The Mountain Harbor Inn had a beautiful view of the mountains and lake! We can wait to go back for another couples retreat!

My husband and I stayed two nights in the Forever Yours suite and it was beautiful!!! The bed was amazing and so comfortable, we could have slept the whole time and got our money's worth.;) The staff was very friendly and made sure you had everything you needed at all times including free drinks all day! They also had printed cards with our names, welcoming us to our room and stay. I would definitly reccommend this resort especially if you want to have a vacation with not much going on and just relaxing. There isn't a lot to do in Dandridge and it is a dry county, but keep in mind Gatlinburg is like 25 min. away. Wonderful place for a romantic getaway!

The Mountain Harbor Inn Is exquisite---the rooms, all decorated uniquely---the scenery, beautiful lake and mountain views---and the staff, like family-so friendly!!!!!!!!!! Quiet, peaceful, it is the perfect get-away. Yet close to Pigeon Forge and Knoxville.

After finishing a HUGE bicycling event for the non-profit I work at my husband and I needed some time to get away and refuel. It was so peaceful, the food was excellent, the staff was very attentive and friendly, and everything was so clean that we were very much impressed. The location is just about 20 minutes away from Pigeon Forge, so we were close enough to "go into town". I would HIGHLY recommend this bed and breakfast if you're looking for a wonderful place to relax in peace and quiet. We will definitely visit again!!!!

I have been to England, Hawaii, Florida, Acapulco in Mexico and a lot of other beautiful places. I'll have to say this is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to. My ancestors were from the Smoky Mtns. so I was enchanted by the view of the mountains with snowfall still on them. Had never really explored the Dandridge area before, but I will definitely go back. The service could not have been better, the food was excellent. I could have stayed in the dining room looking at the view for hours. If you have mobility problems ask for a downstairs room. They do have an electric chair for the stairs, though. We will go back as often as we can find the time and have recommended to everyone we know.

A friend & I just stayed here for a hiking trip. Being on a lake facing the mountains was very relaxing and the free boat ride was a wonderful added bonus! The service was very accomodating and friendly as well. The coffee at breakfast was great and there were some healthy options (cereal, toast, fruit) in addition to the heavier biscuits and gravy and bacon and eggs. BEWARE: There are 2 significant drawbacks to this place, though. 1) The road noise is insanely loud. It is not like a constant hum of a highway in the background; you are literally right next to a 55mph road and hear every car that whooshes by. I slept with earplugs and they make them available but if you are a light sleeper like me this may be a dealbreaker. 2) No internet in the rooms! There is in the main lobby but that closes at 7.30pm. The inn should really invest in a signal booster to get wifi in all the rooms. Again, may be a deal breaker for those who need the internet. Still, for us depsite those inconveniences the overall value made this a great stay.

If the phrases "stunningly beautiful" and "superb service from the heart" mean anything to you, then you will have arrived! Every suite is unique and gorgeous! The crown molding, the vivid color schemes, the splendidly eye-catching beds that are as tastefully sensually decorated as they are comfortable, an unsurpassed view of the serene lake with the mountains in the background (available in EVERY suite), the wonderful breakfast buffet and the romantic luscious candlelight desserts served in the majestic dining room overlooking the lake all conspire to make this place breathtaking and a one of a kind experience. Combine this with owners who will be sure to stop by your table for a friendly chat and a smiling staff totally dedicated to your comfort and you have absolute paradise! We went for the first time a couple of days after Christmas to relax and unwind. We got back yesterday (Jan.25th) from our second 2 night visit within a 4 week period. Terrence might not get to go back with me for a while so I intend to take a couple of friends for a girls' get-a-way soon! My only small personal wish is that the dining room would offer a sort of mini menu of perhaps appetizers, soup/salad and maybe a hamburger or some kind of sandwich (for the guys) in the evening hours. However, every suite has a kitchenette and the condos have full kitchens. There are also many excellent restaurants within a 5 or 10 mile radius. My "problem" is that once I get settled in "our" beautiful suite, I want to enjoy every moment there and have no interest in going out! One might even say I am slightly obsessed with this little piece of heaven on earth we have found!

My husband and I spent our 25th anniversary here and to be honest by the pictures I was so afraid that everyone would be "uppity"! The staff here had the most down to earth people and we were totally amazed. The room was beautiful, the food was excellent, and the service was tremendous!
