Located in the heart of Clarksville, this historic residence is one of the last of its kind, having been built in the early 1940s by tobacco businessman Kendrick Rudolph. It features a variety of hardwoods throughout in arched doorways, crown molding, wainscoting, hand-carved cherry wood china cabinet, and floors. There is an exquisite wrought iron staircase leading to the second floor, as well as a sloped copper awning over the side porch.

A short stay but very relaxing. Beautiful home, good food, delightful innkeepers.

Even before our arrival, Margaret had accommodated my needs for a feather-free environment. The Churchill Suite provided ample space to stretch out and feel at home. Breakfasts were ample, varied, and delicious. Russ and Margaret were most helpful with our inquiries and printing of boarding passes for our flight home. Location was ideal, within walking distance of downtown Clarksville and Austin Peay University.

My visit to Magnolia House was an unexpected pleasure. I decided to reserve a room here instead of a traditional hotel room for business travel - great decision. The home is beautiful, the rooms are exquisite and well appointed. The owners and staff really seem to care about the guests. Please keep Magnolia House in mind if you're traveling in the Clarksville area.

Russ and Margaret are wonderful hosts and we enjoyed every minute of our stay! The room was large and comfortable, the home and grounds are beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. We will definitely keep this B&B on our "visit again" list!

We recently stayed at the Magnolia House Bed and Breakfast Inn and enjoyed it very much. Our hostess, Margaret Almeida, met us in the driveway, helped us take in our bags and after showing us our room, quietly disappeared to let us enjoy our room. We had a very nice "Special Occasions" basket waiting for us (that I ordered) for our 30th and then walked down to a restaurant for a special anniversary dinner. We woke to a excellent breakfast of Quiche, fresh fruit, juices, rolls, etc. Couldn't have picked a better place to stay!
