    The Pettit House Bed & Breakfast, located downtown Chattanooga, at the foot of historic Lookout Mountain. Each of the two large, elegantly appointed guest suites features a king-size four poster bed with deluxe matresses, hardwood floors, oriental rugs, select antiques, a private entrance, balcony, cable TV, VCR, DVD, wireless high-speed internet, sitting room (with a daybed and hideaway trundle), private bath, where our guests enjoy a mountain-view breakfast.     We stopped at the Petitt House with only a moment's notice to the innkeeper (Marcie). She welcomed us, gave us a discount because it was a weekday, suggested ideas for where we might eat dinner and things we might want to see in the area. We had a large suite, complete with a kitchen. She provided snacks for us and we had a TV and videos. We chose to have a "continental breakfast" and it was fabulous: fresh organic fruit, warm blueberry muffins, yogurt and juice. We had an enjoyable visit with Marcy and found lots of things we had in common. The suite was clean and stocked with everything we needed. We would go again if our travels take us to Chattanooga.

    The Pettit House B&B is a relaxing place to get away. I highly reccomend it to anyone!

    Caretakers very attentive to needs. Referred us to local sights and dining. Great breakfast. It was a mother's day gift from son and family who stayed there on a couple of occasions.

    We went to the Div.II National Football Championship the location was great. Marci was a wealth of information about the area and a wonderful hostess. I look forward to staying in more B&B's in the future.

    This was a wonderful location and place to relax. Marcie the inn keeper made us feel like family friends in for the weekend. Very helpful with suggestions of places to see and eat.
