Butler, TN is an historic town, now 300' under Watauga Lake. But you can "visit" Old Butler at the Butler Museum and then float over Old Butler via pontoon boat.

(From Raleigh) I-40 to state route 421 into Mountain City.
At the 4th light in Mountain City, turn left onto 67. Go 13 miles to Pine Orchard Road. Go 1.6 miles and turn left onto Moreland Drive. Driveway to the Inn is on the right.
(From North) I-81 to exit 29 in VIRGINIA!. End of ramp turn left onto state route 91. Take to Mountain City. At first light (Farmer's State Bank) turn right. Go through town to 67W/S. Follow above directions.
(From South) I-40 to I-81 to I-26. Take exit 24 (old 31). At the end of the ramp (going either direction) turn right onto 321/67. Continue on 321/67 to Hampton. At Shell station turn left and go 15.1 miles on 67 to Pine Orchard Road. Follow above diretions. - Nearest major airport: Tri-City Airport, TN (TRI-Tri-City Regional) 45 miles

Exit airport. Turn right on route 75. Go to the end. Turn right. Go to traffic light. Turn right onto 394. Go to 19E (Volunteer/Bristol Highway). Take 19E to Elizabethton exit which is a left hand exit. Take 19E to Hampton/Shell Station (about 15 miles). Follow above directions. - Meeting places:

- Cancellations:
At the Inn, 7 days prior to arrival refund minus cancellation fee of $25.00. Within 7 days, no refund unless room can be rerented.
At the vacation rental units, 45 days during peak summer, holiday and October dates; 30 days during standard dates and 20 days during off-season rates. All require cancellation fee of $100.00. - Accepted by the following agencies:
