Gramercy, a majestic Tudor style mansion and estate, situated on 45 acres in Maryland's Greenspring Valley, provides elegant hospitality. Guests enjoy the Olympic size pool, tennis court, extensive woodland trails, Honeybrook Stream, a working organic farm, and classic flower gardens. In addition to five spacious public rooms with fireplaces, the mansion offers antiques, oriental carpets, artwork, high ceilings, a stunning grand staircase, chandeliers and a serene outdoor terrace. Railroad magnate, Alexander Cassatt, brother of Impressionist painter Mary Cassatt, presented this historic house as a wedding present to his daughter. Later occupants included the Brewster family, descendants of Benjamin Franklin, and the Koinonia Foundation, a predecessor of the Peace Corps. The Carriage House and Gramercy Mansion are also available for weddings, meetings, seminars and parties. Located 20 minutes from the Inner Harbor and Oriole Park, Gramercy provides easy access to museums, historic sites, theater and fine restaurants. "Great place to stay, minor room for improvement"

"We stayed at the Grammercy over Preakness race weekend. The location was great. Tucked away amidst the beautiful countryside with quick, easy access into the city. The landscaping is pretty amazing. You must take a walk through the paths on a cool morning. The "Bed" part of the stay was a little distracting. We stayed int he Country Room. The antique bed was beautiful yes, but it creaked and squeaked, and it was a tad on the small size. At 5'7" my wife and I were using up every inch of it. The breakfast was just plain amazing. Incredible attention to detail and delicious food amidst an array of flowers. The staff was friendly though there was no flexibility when we asked to check out a little late. "
