This House was a House dedicated to the farming village in the last century. A typical architectural ensemble of the villages in this area in Galicia: House of two floors and annexes, which in the past formed part a horreo wood and that time has not left anything. In these annexes, a pallote and courts kept animals, carts, the tools, hay to feed livestock in winter and firewood. On the ground floor of the House there is a lounge with lareira and a great room with stone walls to view. On the first floor there are three rooms that are that we offer who so desired. Annex which in its day was the pallote we have fitted and equipped as a living and dining room in order to make it a privileged vantage point from which the visitor can into best of rural gastronomy of this region of Galicia.

Casa de Montemaior Video: Esta casa fue en el siglo pasado una casa de aldea dedicada a la labranza. Un conjunto arquitectónico típico de las aldeas de esta zona de Galicia: casa de dos plantas y anexos, del que en el pasado también formó parte un horreo de madera y del que el tiempo no ha dejado nada. En estos anexos, un pallote y las cortes se guardaban los animales, los carros, los aperos de labranza, el heno para alimentar el ganado en invierno y la leña. En la planta baja de la casa hay un salón con lareira y una gran habitación con las piedras de las paredes a la vista. En la planta de arriba hay tres habitaciones más que son las que ponemos a disposición de quién así lo desee. El anexo que en su día fue el pallote lo hemos acondicionado y equipado como salón-comedor con el propósito de hacer de él una atalaya privilegiada desde la que el visitante pueda asomarse a lo mejor de la gastronomía rural de esta comarca de Galicia.
