Una casa muy bonita, decorada para sentirse muy comfortable, buen precio, buena ubicación y - no se debe olvidarlo - con una Montse muy amable y perros encantadores hacen que uno quiere volver pronto!

Non potevamo trovare sistemazione migliore a Barcelona! Non un albergo "travestito " da b&b ma una vera casa e soprattutto una premurosa, calorosa e disponibilissima padrona di casa! Ottima la posizione, originalissimi l'arredo e l'architettura interna (Montse è architetto...), ottima la pulizia, ottima la colazione e davvero squisito il calore con cui Montse accoglie i suoi ospiti pur rispettandone assolutamente la privacy! Abbiamo trovato la nostra casa a Barcelona!

My husband and I stayed for a week in October. We had a great time while there and were very pleased with our accommodations. Our room was spotless and the breakfasts were wonderful. Plenty of fresh sweet rolls, bread, ham, cheese, cereal and fruit juice, coffee and tea. It was located close to restaurants and sight seeing. We felt very safe there and we really enjoyed Montse and her 3 dogs. The Barcelona City tour bus stops right at the corner and is a great way to see the city. One ticket is good for the whole day on either the red or green bus. We would definitly stay there again if we get to Barcelona again

My husband and I stayed at La Casa Gran for four days in May 2012 and we had a fantastic time! Montse was a wonderful host and made us feel so welcome and just like we were at home. The house itself is beautiful and very spacious, with very high ceilings and intriguing contemporary art. The location is perfect – right in the center of everything and easy to get to all tourist attractions either by foot or a simple bus or metro ride away. The breakfast was plentiful, very fresh and delicious – fruit, croissants, yoghurt, many other things, and very good quality coffee, too! Montse even drew us a detailed map of all of her favorite restaurants in the area; we went to many of them and they were all excellent! We look forward to returning to Barcelona again, and if we do, will stay at La Casa Gran without a doubt. (We especially loved Montse's dogs, too, who are very sweet!)

Montse was adorably helpful and has elegant, spacious and light rooms with newly fitted bathrooms that are extremely confortable! She was very kind and generous suprising me with a birthday treat! We would certainly go back as the central location is also very handy and there are great restaurants nearby!

Casa elegante ben arredata e in un quartiere raffinato, anche se un pò lontana dal centro della movida, abbiamo soggiornato 3 giorni. Caffè italiano per colazione, la padrona di casa gentile e disponibile a qualunque richiesta

Tenia el compromiso de buscar alojamiento para unos amigos, y aconsejé La Casa Gran por su situación privilegiada. Mis amigos quedaron encantados tanto por el espacio, como por la acogida y la situación, ya que pudieron visitar la ciudad con mucha comodidad. Soy Americanos y nos quedamos por 10 noches y nos encanta. Montse, el dueno, es arquitecto y La Casa Gran es muy bella y comodo. Ya queremos regresar. El desayanu es delicioso y todos las habitaciones tiene un balcon. La Casa Gran esta cerca muchos restaurantes, cafes, y tiendas, y los edificios de Gaudi estan cercano. Montse nos ayudo con las mapas y recomendaciones para restaurantes y sitios. Hay muchisimo ver en Barcelona. La Casa Gran es asi vivir en espana.

It was great to stay at la casa gran. The owner (a lovely lady) is very friendly, helpful and hospitable. The B&B is located in a beautiful building with lots of historical details (elevator is a wonderful trip on its own). The room is nicely decorated and the breakfast is tasty and well served. From the central location in Eixample it is an nice walk to the old city centre or the Gaudi houses. In 2011 the B&B will move to another historical building even closer to the old city. We stayed for 3 nights in Montsé's house and it was really great! Montsé was very welcoming and nice. She really is a great host and made everything to make us feel like home. We also met Jesus and Clara, who were also very kind, friendly and full of good conversations/advises! The room was bigger than expected, nice and very quiet. The location is very good, 10min walking from the Plaza Catalunya, and the metro is very close. For those who are afraid of dogs, I was too and finally they were very quiet and peaceful. They won't bother you at all. We really had a great time (and ate the best paella thanks to Clara!) and advise strongly to choose this B&B! Leticia & Guillermo

we stayed at La Casa Gran February 9-16 and had the best time ever. The place is very well run, extremely clean and Montse the owner is so friendly that she adds to your whole experience of your vacation. She has two beautiful dogs that are an extra bonus to have around. The apartment is so well situated that it takes no more than 3 or 4 minutes to get to the metro, bus or restaurant. I highly recommend this place as apposed to a hotel. You get so much more for your money and Montse will be sure to make you feel right at home. Thank you Montse, it was a pleasure meeting you!

Extremedamente bien ubicado en el centro de la ciudad Lugar acogedor y muy familiar pero con toda la libertad para entrer o salir Comodo, muy limpio tranquilo

I was there with my boyfriend this month, and found the house really nice, big, nice decoration, arts around. Have perfect localization in the center of the city, we walked everywhere. Montse was kind and friendly, she is ready for help you whatever! We felt like home, quite , relax and just enjoyed the time in Barcelona !!

If u want to fall inlove with Barcelona,u have to stay in Mb b&b,central to all various amenities, for example La Rambles,bus routes,underground,etc. The Apt is decorated by an excellent interior designer, so if u like you orginal classical style with a twist of modern throughen in, this is the place of u.Your bedroom is clean,stylish with internet excesss.Hot water for shows, breafast with fresh fruit,toast,tea or excellent coffee.If u want a slice of Cathalan culture this the place for u ,and ofcouse u have to be dog friendly Tofu especially will love u to death!!!

Estuve genial en esta gran casa del ensanche Barcelonés, majestuosa, super amplia, con una gente muy agradable, limpia y con unas estancias como la cocina, maravillosas, para quedarse con el café embobado contemplando y disfrutando del silencio y la decoración...volveré !!

Ideal 100 x 100: la casa es muy especial, bonita, interesante, limpia, espaciosa, encantadora. La ubicación immejorable, en el puro centro de Barcelona. La atención elegante y simpática de Montse. Trato excelente para un entorno excelente. ¡Y los perros graciosísimos!

Estuve este verano en esta habitación. Solo tengo buenas palabras y agradecimientos para Montse, Jesús y sus dos perros por su increíble hospitalidad y cuidado de todos los detalles que te gustan recibir durante un alojamiento. También tengo que mencionar que la ubicación en el corazón de Barcelona es inmejorable. Por eso me atrevo a recomendarlo para que podáis disfrutar al 100% de vuestra estancia en esta maravillosa ciudad.
